- How Safe is Chechnya: Travelling from Dagestan to Chechnya - I Didn’t Expect This
I decided to walk long distances before hitchhiking from Dagestan to Chechnya. It was an experience I will never forget; this is definitely a different Russia; a Russia that is never experienced by travellers and tourists

This is the most beautiful travel video I've ever seen such welcoming people... They see people as humans only you can tell by how everyone I am impressed with your Chechnyan but i do not speak language lol
I was told many times that Chechnya was a dangerous place and I went there to find the most lovely and hospitable people ever. It's best to explore countries without fear ad yes you can visit Chechnya and they will love you there. I didn't speak the language but I taught myself a few words, unfortunately, English doesn't exist in such places 😂
As a Chechen, I’m really glad to see you visited my country! I hope you’ll go back soon and make more vlogs 😊
I love Chechnya, people treated me very well and I will definitely visit again, so stay connected and please share, thank you
Are American tourist welcome?

I've heard from another Black person who lives in Russia that many people from the Caucasus for some reason think many if not most Black people are Muslim. They would approach him happy saying Salam to him.
Your friend living in Russia is right, they always approach me with Salam 😂 especially in Chechnya. I have been to so many countries in my life and Chechnya really surprised me. They actually believe that if you are black you must be a Muslim.
@@RJinspire Probably has to do with Muhammad Ali and Mike Tyson, but especially Muhammad Ali. Most Black Americans don't know how influential he is in the Muslim World. I was surprised when I seen translated videos of Muhammad Ali having millions of views in Russian,Turkish and Arabic especially videos where he talks about Islam. Maybe because they get called "Black" and they know you get called Black that they look at you as adopting the same or similar culture as them. You can probably go to South India where the dark skin tamil people are at and get similar experiences as far as them assuming y'all have the same or similar cultures. What words do they mainly say when talking about Black people in russian in comparison to Slavic russians?
normal words like 'chernit' my Russian spelling might not be correct. They prefer to call black people, dark people which is a bad phrase in the West, in Russia they think it's an insult to call you black. We live in a complicated world my friend. It would be interesting when I visit the Indian Tamils 😂😂😂
No they just think u are somalian or some other muslim country thats why they say salam, and remember you can say salam aleikum to anyone , it only means peace be upon you.
@@exposethewest7829 I am Somalian Chechnia looks beautiful developed and organised Somalians are small group there are way more Muslims in Africa even our neighbour Ethiopia has more Muslims than us.
Im chechen and i really appreciate you traveling to the most beautiful country i know. I hope you and your friends enjoyed it alot!
I loved every moment and time spent in Chechnya, I will certainly be back in Chechnya, keep in touch so you know when I am back with Chechen people

@@Deutcheland Salam a laykum I want to visit your country because I’m seeking a place to move in Muslim country to live my life. I welcome any information you can share.
When I hear in Chechnya I remember the war. But people seem very friendly. I would like to visit. :)
The first time I visited Chechnya I was a bit apprehensive but this time I was more relaxed hence walking and hitchhiking from Dagestan to Chechnya and it was worth it
@@RJinspire do you think its true what happens to some people in chechnya🤔? Seems scary knowing theze things happen there
Not true anymore, friend. Chechnya is much safer now and the people are lovely. I walked solo across Chechnya and they treated me like a celebrity
@@RJinspire Ahhh😄 well thanks my friend) one day i will go to checnya and meet chechen girls👸
Be careful with Chechen girls, Chechen men don't take kindly to foreigners dating their women. They are very strict, this is a different Russia, my friend
As usual the sheer joy and enthusiasm you have for meeting people, and embracing new cultures and experiences shines through! It’s impossible not to like this video! 👍
Chechnya is very different from the rest of Russia; this was the only place where I couldn't walk more than 200 metres without someone stopping to cheer me up and asking for selfies. They all kept telling me on thing that they have never seen a tourist walking on their roads, amazing 😂😂😂
Chechnya is definitely a place I will visit, InsyaAllah.
I love the people in Chechnya, very kind and generous, you should definitely visit
I wish I was like this guy traveling to Chechnya!, the people and their families are friendly, luxurious, plus the weddings are very beautiful, the music I can listen to all day and night!, as long as he's careful and touring, he has no worries! 🤩
Thank you, I really loved my time in Chechnya, the people are very hospitable there
They know about black man as a Muslim one from the media such as MalconX and Muhammad Ali and etc. that’s why they are surprised that you are not Muslim. But it doesn’t mean that they’re gonna treat you badly. no no, the Chechen community is in general kind and welcomed to everyone non-Muslim or Muslim , white or black.
They treated me very well in Chechnya, everyone was extremely nice and many invited me to their homes. In Chechnya, I was a person and not black or anything, lovely people and I will certainly visit again
How funny the police wanted to take selfies with you. Seems like everyone there is happy and friendly. It seems like it is almost its own country, so different from the other places you've been.
I couldn't walk anywhere in Chechnya without an invitation for something to eat, selfies and they were so friendly I felt like a celebrity. Chechnya is very different from the rest of Russia, it's more like a country on its own and the police couldn't have enough of me, selfies everywhere and they also stopped cars for my next trip 😂😂😂
@@RJinspire as a black American woman so I am hesitant to visit after things stabilize
@@RJinspire not saying everyone bad because it's not all good in America I think most people want love and peace
@@violetsrayreikishop2 muslim white people are extremely hospitable and lovely no matter which skin colour
I always hear people claiming that Chechens look similar to Turks or Arabs, but I do not see it, they look similar to people of Balkans countries (Bulgaria, Serbia, Albania, etc)
Chechens are Caucasus people and they do look just a bit like Turks or Balkan people and definitely don't look Arabic. They are lovely people, you should visit Chechnya
Yes. But unlike Balkan Chechnya doesn't have Slavic mixture. I think it's closer to Switzerland where Germanic and North Italian (they are kind of like Balkan) people live. There are villages of Chechnya that most look like Scandinavians, but facial structurally. Adult blondes are rare. If you are born as blonde kid, 99% chance you will turn brown or dirty or even red haired. Also a lot more redhead/beards , due to Celtic kinship (linguistically, chechen/celtic/basque has similar origins.)
Turkic admixture is not much but comes from Nogay and Kymuk tribes/Tatar-cossacks that are assimilated since 1880s. Chechens were a lot more lighter, before moving to hot lowlands (for agriculture) and also Mongolian/Turkic invasions that may have left some bleak traces behind.
@@ruslankazimov622 sorry my friend but Albanians have nothing to do with slavic people.. yes Bosnia, Kroatia, Serbia, Bulgaria, Slovenia are slavic people but we Albanian have nothing to do with them in culture, language and fait(with Bosnia we are same in fait but not language and tradition)

Not many tourists visit Chechnya and if you do visit them they are really appreciative of visitors, I loved it there

im a black American who would like to travel to these counties, i noticed with a lot of my Russian friends they have never met an American let alone a black American could you make a video about what its like to travel as a black person in these countries and how people treat you? also do you ever feel like your in danger from people who may not like people of color in these countries?
One thing I will tell you with Russian people is that they don't understand the concept of racism. Our skin colour means nothing over there and you can walk day and night without any hassle. I have been to small villages where some Russian people have never seen a black person in the flesh and I was treated very well.
