Really nice to listen to you both. Great to hear your daughter’s perspective, and how it was for you as a parent. Such a nice relationship.

As a divorced mom of three adults (34,31 and 26) I too never thought I would get divorced, and when you said "I hope I haven't Effed you up too much" it really hit home, Dr. Tassone. I stayed in a bad marriage too long FOR them, and now it's something I struggle with all the time, that they are afraid of relationships because of our divorce. It can feel like a no-win sometimes...I think your daughter is just fine and she's got a great head on her shoulders! Beautiful inside and out. You get an A+ from me! It's my daughter I worry about the most, because their father has zero respect for women and she has that "Daddy hunger" and keeps dating jerks just like him. Right now she's afraid to even try to meet someone, and she's only 26. We do the best we can and love them unconditionally. When my first baby was born, Christmas night 1989, I found a vintage painting for his nursery that said "Children are not things to be molded, but people to be unfolded" .Three children, three totally different personalities. Thank you for this brilliant idea of interviewing your children. They will always have these to reflect upon! Well done...

I'm 56-years-old (divorced), former Mormon, my oldest is 30ish (daughter) who lives in AZ and doesn't want kids. She leans left while I lean right. Total emo in all black during high school. I felt like I was looking in the mirror watching this video. Thank you for sharing.

As a woman who went to a liberal college and had more than one abortion (45 years ago!!) I was hoping to hear more about the health challenges faced by young women today - birth control, OTC abortion pills, etc. It was overwhelming way back when, and it must be even more confusing today?
That said, I totally transitioned from Liberal to Conservative as I grew older, but now I'm just me 🙂

I used to think other women’s abortions were none of my business, but then I learned that we are all responsible for the safety of babies in our community.

@@melaniemiller9037 what about the body of the fetus/baby? Who cares about that, right?

    • @melaniemiller9037

@teiteiboo it's none of your business. It's not your baby. Unless and until YOU claim that child, it's not your business what a woman does with her own body. Women are now dying because of trump abortion bans, does that make you happy??? Don't bother answering it's a rhetorical question.

I'm adopted so my views on abortion shouldn't be as they are. I believe in choice. It's none of my business what other women choose in their lives. I, like Hannah, used to be liberal more moderate than left leaning. As I get older I become more right but I have to say that both parties suck these days and I'm of the mind to not vote. No moderates exist anymore.

I enjoyed listening to this conversation with your daughter. I also have adult children who have different views and lifestyles from mine, but we understand and accept each other’s differences. Plus, I also am voting for JFK, Jr!

Listen to Colonel Mac Gregor, Scott Ritter, Tucker Carlson now that he is off of Fox, Colonel Wilkerson.... colonel MacGregor is starting “ My country, my choice”. All are talking about what you discussed at the end with your daughter.

I wonder how you view Trump after the first debate between him and Biden is now just a week or so old. Trump doesn't seem to be the psycho anymore.
