The fact it's DLC is so outrageous it's actually funny
A lot of games have DLC's, do you complain about those too? DoD is only $20 and you don't need the DLC to play a Blitz.
With the way the stats work, you actually want all of your dragons to be from a nest, not spawned. I could completely understand the issues if the Blitz was locked unless you paid for it, or even if they locked nesting of it to only the DLC holders, but it's not.
@@Cross3x7Just sucks when more then three of the dragons that are play able are kickstarter or DLC.

I think the people that owns DLC, should at leas t have a better start bloodlines on the dragon, like C or B.

Is sooo bad. Nvm the dragons costing money. The controls are soooo backwards. The whole things y to be remodeled , an control changes
The game is still Early Access, keep that in mind. A lot of updates will come in the future, and only two dragons cost money, you can also get all of them by getting nested, wich is really easy. And about the control, the flying mechanics are realistic, you can not expect a dragon to fly like a sparrow. And you can hardly find a dragon game with better dragon models.
It's actually really good. You think it's bad because you are uneducated. Did you know you can invert the controls?
Head on into the settings and you can invert the flight controls.

Blitz strikers are the fastest swimmers as well
I not sure if ASD's match them under the water since they have a speed boost below the surface. That would be good to test.
@@Lusewing its pretty close, havent tested it after they boosted the ASD’s speed but i would love to see a short on it😊

This game was supposed to be at the caliber of The Isle but just couldn't deliver. Ripped-off designs, several paywalls, mediocre graphics, basic mechanics...I mean come one. Can no one do a dragon simulator justice?
Considering the Isle was was release in early access in December 2015 (not counting development time to reach that) and Day of Dragons only had it's Kickstarter five years ago, I would say they are doing pretty well. I personally love the graphics, almost everything can be nested in, including exclusive skins and DLC dragons, makes sure content isn't blocked off.
The designs are inspired by beloved dragons from all types of media and mythology making sure there is a dragon design and play style for everyone.
@@Lusewing I appreciate the time you took to reply. For me, a lot of the things you like I simply don't. I would have preferred unique, original designs. You can get nested in as DLC creatures/KS skins but realistically it'll be especially difficult to get such eggs unless you are friends with someone who has them. Both the dragons' textures and animations have an almost clay-mation look to them . Don't get me wrong, I want this game to succeed, I've wanted a dragon sim game since I was 14. I just think some things should change.
@slig404 There are thankfully more dragon games on the horizon, choice and options are always good.

The fact that this dragon and bio are the only dragons that can hover and glide make them the only choice for me in pvp. Since they can essentially glide from any height they can hover to it means they can traverse alot more effectively meaning I'm not stuck where I spawn and can actually have some fun growing. Playing the other species is basically playing hide in a bush and pray no one happens to fly by and kill you simulator basically making the game a slog to play til juvi since half of your movement is disabled until then and if you die before then it's just frusturating and a waste of time. Yesterday I was trying to survive as a fs but my spawn was in a clan owned zone so guess who was killed minutes before hitting juvi cause I needed to eat/drink! It's just frusturating and hard to survive without flight early on and frusturating since it takes so long to hit juvi and before then your basically defensless, immobile, slow, horribly non agile and not able to even use a breath weapon even to a lesser degree...it sucks and feels like time wasted more so than any other creature survival game
The Bio dies in one hit, and the Blitz only a few extra. All hatchling have it rough, the Bio maybe less so, but it's a none combat dragon and just for cosmetic.
Regardless I feel like it was a poor decision to lock half of any species movement behind growth in any other survival game like the isle for instance your typical hatchling counterpart while not as fast as an adult though by a small margine is much more agile able to turn and juke adult with ease hatchlings in DOD don't have that survivability and it's one of those things that though they tried to make realistic is just not fun for your average player if anything a hatchling should only be that vulnerable when it is nested in and only for a brief period of time
Also just want to be clear despite my disagreement on the subject I still always enjoy your videos

@@NekroticNewt There has been talk of a setting that lets Fresh spawns come in as Juvie.
They added the blitz striker along with a thousand new bugs, crashea and glitches.
They also fixed loads, welcome to game development
Yeah... like the play doh graphics, which I did find out how to fix in a janky sort of way. Still can't fix the slideshow problems though.
Also, they really need to stop putting game content behind paywalls... come on guys, you're not even close to being a completed game yet. It gives me Animalia PTSD.
What new bugs? Besides the zombie snapper, the game works great for me. You must have a low-end PC.
@@Cross3x7definately not my pc! Pearls dissapear, random crashes to menu (experienced by everyone), random hitboxes in flight, some tree hitboxes are off, missinh crystals, textures… list goes on
@SilverSabertooth All dragons thankfully can be played through nesting - with the way the stats work, you really should have all nested dragons anyway.
I think it could do with a bit of health buff as a hatchling cause it’s around a 4 hit from a bug
Aye, best to avoid bugs, they thankfully don't really need to hunt till they are almost grown, and that's only if you can't find any mushrooms.

@RandomMackem0069 Aye always a chance, particularly with so many new spawns. Thankfully they are not too tricky to take down if you wait till you are bigger.

I've died 3 times, as a baby BS for a krab 😅. Next I started to grow by eating only mushrooms

Serpentine movement is really tricky, I believe one of the Dino survival games has recently done a really great snake. They are always working to improve and update animations, such as the improvements they made to the SS and ASD models.

Its a big favourite for lots of people.
So where other flyers want to avoid flying through a storm the Blitz actually loves doing so because it gets a boost. It can use its lightning to either zap everyone around it or go Palpatine mode by constantly zapping a target in front of it. And it doesn't need stamina to fly. Did I get that right?
Sounds like the BS is one hell of a dragon - a dangerous glass cannon once adult and on top of that compatible with any other dragon as a teammate.
They'll be target number one when spotted. Then again, any dragon is dangerous. And the BS probably needs to watch out for ambushing enemies, most notably ASD's.
Sure is, though it's super weak on the ground and it's Blitz strike takes a bit to charge with a very visible indicator. It's certainly a dragon that you need practice with.
