@Shoto185 the Dev blog will be going live on Steam this Friday which will give the date for the livestream.
The Blitz Striker is beautiful, but the way it moves (like a snake) looks so ridiculous. It should use its wings as front limbs to walk and it would look so menacing. The lindworm in Draconia also looks so ridiculous when moving. They should also make another amphitere, a feathered serpent from Mesoamerican mythology.
They do plan on make some more. I'm not sure how it would look walking on its front limbs, either draging itself along or like it's up on stilts with just it's tail on the floor. It's not really long enough for that really
I like the sea shock thing very big and nice I main Dieno in isle so I will enjoy playing that one

This is AMAZING, every time I got excited for one thing, another dragon came along, I was just OVERWHELMED with this information
I am also curious as to how the Sailfin will do, and I’m primarily wondering if they’ll base its flight off of a flying fish or something of that kind
And I also wanna see little mimicking translators going around and forming alliances between dragon clans and elementals
I dare say it will be like a flying fish or even the flying fish mounts from Avatar 2

@@Lusewing exactly! I was hoping for them to look a bit more heavy while walking, especialy the Fireclaw but I noticed a small little detail with how the icehorn's claws shakes a bit the moment it hits the ground due to the weight of the creature itself
@@Kasi_11 The sound and partical effects as they walk will also make a big diffrence
I think it’s also cool how they made them drakes and not wyverns or dragons or something, since it wouldn’t really make that much sense for something THAT big to be flying above the clouds

Shadowscale? Sounds a lot like the Sadowmane from Ark, it can even go invisible too! XD
Yet the Shadow scale came first. I've even seen people comparing the Acid spitted drake to the Shadowmane still, the Acid spitted drake came first.

This game is over hyped i think all these updates will come in 20 years. it took 4months to finish 1.0.1 update (u can only test play it) Devs u have good idea but yall need to start working
Sadly in this day and age MANY people have NO patience and expect things to be done quick.
Its not over hyped unless you arent into the game. This is minimal hype.
They are working faster than most indie games with small teams. Theres a lot that goes into it. Im not comparing anything as all teams are different and so are the games. But it definitely moves faster than you are thinking.
@moodhawk807 They are not moving fast at all. The reason they seem to be moving fast is because the modelers, riggers, and animators are making more content than Jao can code. Bro is actively bottle necking himself.
As for other indie games, the ones I've been following are actually transparent with their audiences and also don't work on the game full time yet STILL deliver better than this garbage.

Everyone work’s differently. Im looking at what they have and what they have done, along with the team. And with that, I say they are moving a good pace.
Also Ill say it again. People in this day and age have no patience whatsoever anymore.
And most games and even shows…take years. Not sure why people think it should be quicker than what it is now. Also thats not a question, its a statement.
My perspective wont change. I can see what others mean. As I wish it would come quicker to…but thats not the reality and Im ok with that.
Im just happy seeing it get attention. Ive waited 15+ years for a dragon game like this. So 5 years ago when I saw this game start a KS. I knew I could wait however long for it. And its coming together nicely from my standpoint.
And again, i refuse to compare other games. All Ill say is, most games take years aswell.
@@moodhawk807 Okay, I won't compare games! But I will say that I am not the impatient type either. I will wait a long, long time for something promising. But this game is just not that.
In It's current form it is lesser than legacy and the guy behind it all is flawed in a way that I can't just look past. I feel bad for the folks who have put so much into this game and are just hoping it gets better.
I am aware that games, books, movies, shows, etc take years. But I'm more frustrated with the Dev than anything else. Maybe if he was more humble and could admit that his product is not as great as he hoped for in current day, treated his KS members better, didn't get all huffy over certain non issues, and didn't put a price tag on everything (I'm exaggerating here), I'd still offer support and have more faith in the game as a whole.

The FireClaw and IceHorn animations there aren't complete are they? I keep repeating the beginning of the video to study the walking animations and they seem a bit.... imbalanced weight wise?? I thought the FireClaw would have a walking animation similar to what we see with a T-rex. EVEN THOUGH I know the FireClaw has huge arms, while the rex had tiny ones, BUT- idk... just seeing the way the back is going upwards and the head movement (of both behemoths) is kinda bobbing like they have a slow happy song in their heads... I'm not a professional animator. maybe I'm just used to seeing one thing a certain way...
In my opinion I feel like the FC head would be more leveled and straight while walking. Keeping their eyes fixated on their prey(again, supposedly like a rex). Is the IceHorn walking like a bear?? hmm ok... but part of me still feels like there's still too much head movement. Too high and wide. And the claws/fingers as the IceHorn walks... they slap the ground and bounce... Bounce??? I expect extreme weight and secure footing with each massive step lol. The back toes do it. Why are the front hands so loose and the claws not gripping the ground firmly? Also I seem to notice both the hips of the behemoths have a weird twitch?
Again, I'm not a professional animator. I want to be a 2d animator of all things lol. I just wanted to share my thoughts on those model animations and ask if those still are a WIP. If anyone would like to explain why they are the way they are, I'd be very interested to learn the reasoning. Maybe I missed something. :) Thanks. Love your content Lusewing.
i ADORE the ice behemoth, it reminds me of a giant scaley snow leopard especially alongside that walk animation :DDD

Still odd to me that the Fire Claw holds her hands palms down instead of palms inwards. Also, more dragons need to have cross-side stepping instead of same-side stepping.
I agree, I always feel the cross stepping feels more stable
The fireclaw behemoth walk is so awkward. Really wish the hands were facing towards each other and not back
We should be able to burn the lindwyrm off with the ravager
The Lindwyrm is a buff dragon - it won't be attaching to dragons that arnt friends

So they’re mostly copying/taking huge inspo from httyd dragons now? A handful of them are basically skrill, stormcutter, gronckle and a monstrous nightmare
Massive inspiration from favourite dragons in all media and mythology. The Devs want people to be able to play their favourite dragons and playstyles.
It is not copying, don’t act stupid, copying is taking the exact same model of the Night Fury, changing ONE THING from it, and claiming it’s their’s, the Blitx doesn’t have legs and it’s zebra striped, also it’s head is difficult from the Skrill and it has (or might have) a poisonous bite and the ability to swallow babies, so it’s basically a snake, they didn’t copy it, they took inspiration, the Monstrous Nightmare looks nothing like the Ravager, the Stormcutter might resemble a Dravern Hybrid but if you look closely, they have a ton of different features that differentiate them, the Zygovo is pretty much completely original, the Bio too probably, and the other originals are the ASD, the venom drake, the Mimic dragon (I’m sorry I can’t hear the name right) probably the tanky herbivorous drake, the Flame Stalker (based off of the iconic typical dragon, not something from media as far as I’m concerned), the Sailfin (maybe, we don’t know what it looks like) Helga probably, I can’t think of anything that really resembles the Tidal Shock, and maybe the behemoths too
