23:38 Clone Wars was the introduction to Ahsoka pretty much and the Clone Wars series bridges the gap between Ep II and Ep III… the last few episodes season 7 of the clone wars series actually takes place simultaneously as Ep III and Order 66 from Ahsoka’s perspective. Then you have the animated series Rebels… the Ahsoka series takes place during the Mandalorian series timeline. You essentially would wanna watch Clones Wars and Rebels before the Ahsoka series

Chronologically you'll want to watch Clone Wars TV show, then the Rebels tv show, then Mandalorian Seasons 1, 2, Book of Boba, Mandalorian season 3, then the Ahsoka show. Tales of the Jedi mini series has a few little Ahsoka bits in it as well, but nothing that's necessary for understanding the rest of the story. It is a lot of content, but it definitely works a lot better in the chronological order.

As others have mentioned, it is a better watch to follow it chronologically (there are lists for this) rather than release order. Clone Wars the animated show is prime Star Wars content, and leads into The Bad Batch, Rebels, Ahsoka and the future of Star Wars feature content as well. Enjoy this spectacular journey!!

When it comes to the shows I suggest the following order:
    Clone Wars seasons 1-6
    Rebels
    Clone Wars Season 7
    Tales of the Jedi
    Bad Batch
    Mando
    Book of Boba
    Ahsoka
the season order for CW might seem odd, but that's the order they were aired in, and you'll get the "surprises" we got first time around as when clone wars "ended" in season 6, we didn't know what happened to a lot of characters we came to care about. Thus the end of rebels season 1 and all of season 2 gave us a lot of shocks I think you'd enjoy.
There was a four year gap between season 6 and season 7, we didn't even know we were getting a season 7 and it wraps a nice bow around it all.
Clone Wars starts out kind of weak -- both on production values and storytelling -- but it left a lot of room on the table for character development. We get our first real "meaty" story with Ep 5 "Rookies" and the show hits its stride at about that point. Especially when that episode puts front and center some characters who at first feel like throwaways, but end up central to the plot.
And remember, Good soldiers follow orders.

    • @willfanofmanyii3751

    • @jasonknight1085

@@gabz4830 YES! Because that's the order they aired in!
We didn't even know we were getting a season 7 because the show was cancelled. There is a four year gap between seasons 6 and 7.
And it's why the Rebels S1 finale and S2 E 2+3 were a huge shock because it answered questions that were left hanging when clone wars "ended" with season 6.

I would reccommend to watch star wars the clone wars in release order. You start with season 1 episode 1 and then you watch 2, 3,4 ,5, 6, 7,... untill 22. ANd then you continue with season 2 episode 1 and then 2, 3, 4, 5.... and so on, up to the 7th season. You will enjoy it so much more this way, promise!. It may be a little confusing in the beginning but if you pay enough attention you will get it. :)

  • @js3599
    @js3599 4 місяці тому +1

You have a along ways to go before you get to the Ahsoka series... You need to watch both "Clone Wars" AND "Rebels" series, plus some episodes of both "Mandalorian" and "Book of Boba Fett"... A few things to keep in mind before you start this rabbit hole... No spoilers...
    1. "Clone Wars" is where you see Ahsoka develop into who she becomes... What makes her into what she becomes... Consider this series an encyclopedia of "Star Wars"...
    2. She only appears in a handful of episodes of "Rebels", but she really shines when she is in the episode... Her show is basically a sequel to "Rebels"... You should watch it all...
    3. She also only appears in a few episodes of "Mandalorian" and "Book of Boba Fett"... Those shows tie into the Ahsoka" Show as well...
    4. Watch Mando and Fett in the order they aired... They have crossover episodes that moves the plots of both shows, and directly sets up the "Ahsoka" show...
    5. The "Ahsoka" show is a sequel of "Rebels"... A continuation of where "Rebels" left off... Don't do your homework first, you will miss certain references and callbacks...
Also, "Clone Wars" lasted 7 seasons (That is nearly 54.5 hours by itself)... Then there is "Rebels" with it's 4 seasons (28 and a half hours)... "Mandalorian" currently has 3 seasons (over 16 and a half hours so far)... "Book of Boba Fett" has one season so far (5 and a half hours)... That is about 105 hours just to get to the "Ahsoka" show, which is just under 6 hours... All these times are rounded...
You could also catch "Tales of the Jedi" for more on Ahsoka AFTER you watch "Clone Wars"... Episodes 1, 5 and 6 pertain to Ahsoka's development.... 2, 3, and 4, don't relate to Ahsoka, but instead, are about Count Dooku's fall to the dark side... The whole series to date is less then an hour and a half...
Not all episodes are important either... There are many, many "filler" episodes in all of these series that do not contribute to Ahsoka's development as well...
Mando has another season upcoming, and Fett could possibly have another in the future, but nothing definite... There are also other "Star Wars" series you can watch as well, such as "Bad Batch: or "Andor" or "Kenobi" that have little or no connection to "Ahsoka, but may interest you...
Sorry for the length of this post...

The Clone Wars series has a ton of different ways to watch it and you'll probably get a lot of suggestions on that. Chronological order makes it easier to follow mentally, but if you keep in mind that the show isn't always going to be in chronological order (for the first ~4 seasons) it doesn't take away anything to watch it how it was released. I think they had a reason they ordered the episodes the way they did, the story just follows a progression of morals and lessons rather than time. It takes a lot less effort to watch it that way, at least when binging it lol.
There are a ton of multi-episode arcs throughout the show, and paying attention to when those show up is probably more important than exactly what order you watch each episode in. Planning out ahead what episodes you want to group together based on those arcs will probably help organize it all together nicely if you plan to do multiple episodes per video, or at the very least it'll keep you from filming half an arc one day before getting to watch the rest of it the next.
The animated series have some of the best moments in all of Star Wars and you'll be glad you started this long journey, i promise lol.

i highly recommend the official chronological order you can find on their websites, it majorly improves the pacing of the show in my opinion, also watch a few at a time, its designed to;)
and yes, the show is basically the same thing (but better;P), people consider this movie as just the first 4 episodes of season 1, the "movie" was made in tandem with the show, basically wasnt even meant to be a movie but unrightly was made to be

Ahsoka does have a series but i would strongly recommend watching Star Wars Rebels before watching Ahsoka. You could just watch her show without watching Rebels, but youll find yourself playing catch up with events that have happened. Rebels is set around the Empire Strikes Back era whereas Clone Wars is everything between movie 2-3. Sorry to pile on the recommendations too but The Mandalorian is something you should watch before Ahsoka too.
This movie served as sort of a pilot for the Clone Wars, it does tell things slightly out of order at the beginning but that stops around season 4. If its too much of a headache sorting out episode timelines, just watch it in release order like we all did. The time jumps arent that drastic.

Ahsoka is so important because the fans loved her. She was originally supposed to be killed during the series and her biography on Wookiepedia used to list her as dying during an assault. But the fans loved her so much by that point in the series that they had her survive.
I think the main reason she was hated is because there was no mention of Jedi in training training other Jedi in any movie, and Anakin having a Padawan was never mentioned in Episode III. The Ahsoka show takes place after Episode VI.

After watching the Revenge of the Sith & this Clone Wars series, the scheme of Palpatine’s massive deception. Imagine being the & with good guys this whole time from this perspective where they were seen as liberators, the Clones. This illusion or facade is truly remarkable. I’m saying it’s incredibly the most stealthiest/sneakiest way to conquer many planets throughout the galaxy & none of them knew it. Not even the Jedi. The illusion for fighting freedom, peace & prosperity only to be turned into terror & tyranny. Meanwhile, Palpatine is manipulating everyone on the inside slowly influencing them to create the foundations of the Empire. So many planets across the galaxy being liberated, supporting the Republic, & with Republic military presence under their control in just a snap of a finger or the 2 words “Order 66” in particular belonging already to the new Empire that was to come. No wonder why they’ve tremendous resources.

"The Clone Wars" series has got 7 seasons and is the continuum of the film. But the "Ahsoka" series is the continuum of the "Star Wars Rebels" series.

Just hitting that subscription channel and fastenning my belt buckles for anybody's up to meet Ahsoka. Hey! If you gonna do this chronologically, don't miss the "Clone Wars" 2D micro-series also on D+, two chapaters 1:20 hrs each, not "canon"cause of some "jedi metahuman superpowers depictions very unaccurate but sets plenty of background for some character's attached to Dooku most properly presented on that movie and the reason why Yoda decided to give Anakin a Padawan. Not spoilers intended but just some context cause as I'm going trough you reaction i notice you already know some of the originals and precuels lore. Dooku gets two apprenttices, one is a Ninght Sister formerly trained on Couruscant and the other this General half organichalf droid that happens to face and almost defeat a bunch of jedi masters and one of them happens to be the former padawan trained by Yoda along Dooku's himself. So pleaase please don't skip it and go right after to The Clone Wars series. Then a revisit to Episode 3 never hurts until Order 66 at least... Then Bad Batch Season1 Tales of The Jedi, Jedi Fallen Order Cinematics, Obi Wan Kenobi Season 1, Jedi Survivor Cinematics, Andor Season 1, Star Wars Rebels (THIS IS A MUST AND IT'S THE BEST), Don't skip the Rebels Shorts, Solo Movie, Complete the circle with Rogue One, Episode IV, Star Wars Battlefield Cinematics, Episode V, Episode VI, Star Wars Battlefront 2 cinematics, The Ewoks Cartoon, Mamdalorian Seasons 1 & 2, The Book of Bobba Fett, Mandalorian Season 3, Ahsoka Season 1 and maybe then would be a good time to watch Star Wars Visions seasons 1 and 2 and hopefully by then Tales of The Jedi Season 2, Visions 3, Mandalorian 4, Andor 2, Skelleton Crew, The Acolyte and Kestis 3 will be on proccess of release and you'll be so happy to be alive to behold the Filoni's upcoming trilogy facing. oh, and yeah, the sequels... or not... I rather watch the Star Wars Lego or the 1995 School Production of Star Wars Musical, even the 80's Star Wars Xmas Special with the Muppets cause those are gems.

Cuidado, una vez empiezas a ver Clone Wars, no hay vuelta atrás. Pero es increíblemente buena. Clone Wars y Rebels son muy buenas series de animación. Bad Batch y Ashoka continuan la historia.

trust us, watch clone wars while following the chronological order list, you'll find it easily on the internet (for example the real first episode of the series is actually season 2 ep 16)

Since you asked... At this point in time, Ahsoka is 14 years old and Anakin is 19. If you don't plan to watch the whole Clone Wars series, I strongly recommend at least watching season 7. The show gets a lot more "grown up" by then and the final season is important to the Ahsoka series which is a must watch in the franchise.

If you want to watch chronologically, then it's better to begin with first 3 episodes of Tales of the Jedi, then entire Clone wars show in chronological order and the finish the Tales of the Jedi

I'm doing alright thanks for asking, how are you? If you want to watch the rest of all the Star Wars content in timeline order (which I guess you will) you'll need to watch The Clone Wars season 1-7 then The Bad Batch season 1&2 (season 3 drops on the first of February, which will also be the final season of The Bad Batch) then Star Wars Rebels season 1-4 then The Mandalorian season 1&2 then The Book of Boba Fett then The Mandalorian season 3 and finally The Ahsoka show. For the Clone Wars, not every episode is in timeline order but you can find a list of the timeline order on the internet. I hope you enjoy the rest of your Star Wars journey and I'm looking forward to seeing your reactions

Definitely watch the Disney order, it’s chronological and makes a lot more sense. Lucas originally insisted on jumping around all over the place
So one episode you’ll be on one story and the second you’ll be on a prequel to a random story thinking it follows on. The show just doesn’t really tell you or make it very clear
So it’s a bit of a faff but I’d watch it in the Disney chronological order 100%
