100% agree with Mark regarding the difference between a plot point being silly or stupid and this example sums it up perfectly. We get that its not real life but it has to work on its own terms and by rules we have to understand and running faster than the speed of light between two points very close to each other is just dumb.

Wow, don’t think I’ve heard Mark swear like this before. Great podcast, by the way

Completely agree with Jack. I admire Zack Snyder's Justice League but the problem with the film is the lack of groundwork in terms of teaming these characters up that I haven't had time to get attached to or really learn a whole lot about.

True but what they do with them in this single film gives the film emotional impact that I don't even get from marvel

Solid movie, really enjoyed it 👍 However it also felt like the end of something. Not just the snyderverse or the DCEU but the hole superhero craze in general. I'm done with it. Closed. Let's move on to something else now, Hollywood 🍻

this is annoying that they aren't talking about the ROOT of the problem of the flash turning back time and why it doesn't work in the film. they just needed to take a solid amount of time to establish his powers and SAY that he believes he can manipulate time and WHY hasn't he gone faster to turn back time already (maybe the ability to manipulate time is just a hypothesis and he isnt sure if he can manipulate time OR destroy the world and so is scared to try).
as its stands, for people who haven't already scene the character in the comic, him turning back time comes out of nowhere.

He does though when they are about to wake up superman, he tells them that weird alterations with time happen as he's approaching light speed so mark's point is mute

@@danielmillward9947 wrong, that line is weak because could mean anything. In logical terms, if you say "when I aproach to lightspeed, crazy things happen to time", that means you may go to the future or get back in time, or just rushing everything in that exact time and space, or slow down things, so that's ambiguous and uncertain to trust. That line ain't a solid base to say "It's fully explained or comprehensible", not even a solid argument.

If you need to go online to find out what the epilogue means, that's a failure of filmmaking.

Interesting points although I think in order to really understand why fans are so passionate about this is because they are fully immersed in the comic books and what they are about. For those that don't understand the comic book movies, these movies are not for them. It is this that makes Snyders vision unique.
The mistake DC have made from day 1 was trying to emulate Marvel. They would be far better placed to make standalone films using source material and not trying to build one universe.
Additionally, there is a lot to be said about trying to emulate Nolan which was a mistake.
Personally I would like to see Disney take over DC as at least they would treat the material with a specific plan.
