PLEASE READ: Like everyone else, we are very concerned about the current situation regarding the COVID-19 pandemic. We have not been traveling a lot for the past few months and because of this we have few recently recorded videos to publish. However, we have decided to continue to publish videos as usual because luckily, within the past twelve months, we were able to record a lot more videos than we were able to publish. This means we will publish some older Tripreports we weren't yet able to cut and upload. And we have enough of them to continue to publish three Tripreports per week for the foreseeable future! We ask for your apology for having to upload some older videos which are not necessarily up-to-date. As always, you can see when a video was recorded in the description. Thank you for your understanding. We wish everyone, especially those working in the aviation and travel industry, a lot of strength in this difficult time. Remember to wash your hands and stay safe! Greetings from Vienna, David and Felix
That's OK bro. By the way your video are very cool. I like the tripreport theory and also the brutally honest because it gives me the the best review about the airline. I am addicted to your videos as I my current age is 13 and I want to be a traveller and also a pilot in my future , you give me the felling like I'm sitting in aircraft and enjoying the flight. You helped me to the realistic felling of First Class and business class seats. Plz keep making videos and will support you as I also know that it will be hard for you to applod video in this covid 19 situation. Thank you for inspiring me as I just lose my hope to be pilot and stop thinking about airplanes but your channel made me inspire and I am again felling that I am coming in track of aviation. Thank you for making videos😊😀👮👍👌✌
Thank you for your support! Things will get better sooner or later! Keep working hard and studying and I am absolutely certain you can become a pilot! And one day we will fly on your flight and make a video about it! :) Never give up!
Hi, just wanted to correct/clarify a couple things: All domestic wine and beer, and certain cocktails are free and unlimited. Your first class ticket to Europe entitled you to two premium drinks in addition to the free lower level drinks. Access to the Admiral’s Club is not granted for all business class/first class passengers. Only passengers who are members of the Admiral’s Club, or are traveling to a continent outside North America in first/business class are granted access (plus active duty military members when space permits).
As an Englishman, I love coming to Florida. The second I step off of the aircraft, I take a depth breathe in and enjoy that unique Florida smell..... which I love by the way. I've been to Orlando and Sandford. I also love that background whir you get once you step on board the aircraft, I know it's the APU, but when you sit at the bottom of the runway and wait for the pilot to floor it ...... that's a fantastic feeling. Unfortunately, never on first class though... 🇬🇧🇺🇸✌✌
Another Great Flight Review from Simply Aviation! I’m glad you decided to do a regular review as well as the brutally honest series. I really do enjoy both of them! Keep up the good work. ✈️✈️
Love riding that MCO shuttle and hearing the narration, welcoming me to the City Beautiful. The shuttle will be departing momentarily for the main terminal
I'm not dumb My feet aren't numb But most importantly This comment is bum P.S No hate, just saying that this is unoriginal and I am tired of listening to this every time
This is pre-oasis configuration. First class looks decent. Lunch looks small, but for domestic first is reasonable. And the steak looked ok too. Nice video.
I could really do with a first class flight right now... but let’s face it I’m never going to get higher that economy! In fact, I won’t even be reaching an airplane at all for the moment!
Great video! Many thanks for letting us ride along and the beautiful views along the way! All the best from here on the shores of the Gulf of Mexico, west coast of Florida USA!!!
Thanks.....I do prefer full trip reports than the "Brutally honest" although some of the other blogs I have seen from air and travel blogs have covered other interesting things such as that airplane hotel where there is an actual hotel build into an abandon aircraft or when an airline has a new route Launch or aircraft retirement where they have an in terminal celebration ....not sure if it was you who filmed that or one of the other aviation blogs.....but I find videos like that interesting too....but trip reports are the best...it gives you a good preview if you cannot travel all the time...for any reason
I just flew first class on American on a 737-800. Seat 3F. Dallas Ft. Worth to Nashville. Very enjoyable flight. If you can get it, first is the way to go.
Sweet Home Chicago! I love my city and my airport. Sorry you had to switch flights at O'Hare, I've never had to since I live in Chicago, but I know how big it is and I've heard it is one of the worst airports to switch planes because it's a HUGE airport. The terminal to change is ALWAYS on the other side of the airport which in O'Hare is 6 miles lol. Hope you didn't have any problems.
If you get infected, Call the medic. If the medic gets infected, call the firefighters. If the firefighters get infected, call the Alcoholics Anonymous. If they get infected, go to the funeral home and ask to be cremated. (IF YOU FEEL OFFENDED BY THIS COMMENT, DON’T TAKE THIS COMMENT TOO SERIOUSLY, IT’S DARK HUMOR)
First/business class on US domestic flights less than 3 hours often appears to be not worth the extra money, but this one at least gave you a fine-looking meal!
Welcome back David...this is what we will all call "the good old days"... !!! So you are flying First Class and you have to pay for food in the lounge ?? And get 2 free drinks ?? Bugger that !! Glad your nuts were warm (sorry cannot help myself ) Try a steak in Australia David !! Best beef in the world !! None of that grain fed stuff !! Thanks mate and great to see another post and stay safe and well !!
American’s sharklet-equipped Airbus 319s and 321s, and most 737s delivered from ship N939NN and newer. However, these configurations are going to be replaced by the Oasis seating with no TVs and more seats in coach.
It depends on the airline and how they order the plane, whether it's a Boeing or Airbus. There are also third-party shops that will custom-build cabins to an airline's specifications.
Are you referring to two free drinks per ticket? Pre-Covid I was always in an Admirals Club, and no one ever told me I couldnt have that third glass of wine.
If you read the description, you’ll notice that this flight was in August 2019, way before the pandemic. They did not fly during COVID (they are slowly starting to do so now), and they have been posting videos that they took before COVID that they didn’t get a chance to fully edit.
It goes back decades. Business Class is a much newer concept that was created as a middle ground between Coach/Economy and First Class for international travel. Non-US airlines simply call their domestic premium cabin Business Class rather than First Class.
I wish domestic flights like AA, United and Delta stop calling "business class" as "first class" For the plane to have real "first class" it has to have at least 3 cabins and sometime 4 cabins.
Just wait until you try Emirates’s short haul first class. It’s basically the same suite that they offer on their long haul. This is nothing compared to EK lol.
I don’t mind recycled reports and I liked this report in both versions. But if you’re looking for content ideas during the pandemic, you could do a comparison of what you should expect between: 1) US domestic travel; 2) intra-European travel; and 3) other regional travel. I notice that when reviewing US travel, you still subconsciously contrast it to intra-European travel. For example, referring to the Admirals Club as a business class lounge. The Admirals Club, like Delta’s Sky Club or the United Club, are primarily accessed by a purchased membership. You do not get access by buying a plane ticket. The only exceptions are when the ticket is in conjunction with an International flight and even there, that’s to match their Alliance partners where lounge access is ticket based, not membership based. American’s business class lounge is the Flagship Lounge, which exists at only a few airport hubs (ORD, MIA, DFW, LAX, JFK). Like the lounges, there are different models with seats, catering, status benefits, upgrades, etc., that would make for an interesting video using existing footage. You could explore why US airlines call it First Class (even though it’s now essentially the premium economy seat internationally) and why frequent flyers would hate a change (look at the way miles and status are earned).
Since I expected this airline to be terrible considering I have seen so many issues with it on the news, all I can say is that American Airlines does not have a good food selection at the lounges; just cold food. And they also limit drinks, which sucks. But the whole performance was not that bad because the food was good during the airplane trip.
When I used lounges about 10 years ago, none of Northwest, Delta, United, or Alaska offered hot food in domestic lounges, at least for free. As David mentioned, AA had a second lounge with more premium food offerings, but that was limited to those with higher frequent flyer membership or connecting tickets to international First/Business.

Listen that is fine with me. I hope this ends soon so all of the entire world can go back to the way it was
Thank's bro ;)
Look everyone footage from the “old world”. When we we used to travel and eat at restaurants!
?? You are not eating at Restaurants ??
mren r/wooosh
We still do that here in Europe
mren Idk where you come from, but in the UK most cafes and restaurants are still closed
You can travel if you wear a mask and social distance at destination (restrictions apply) and restaurants are open?? Well in Europe anyway...

Great tripreport! Best Aviation channel in the world!
of course this is good, because this plane has not been retrofitted with the project oasis seats
11:49 Now that's an awesome view!
I really miss flying 😭😭😭
We can still fly don’t worry, but with masks only.
Just recently flew AA in first class (during COVID), no meal or anything (not surprising). Going to MCO in October on AA, can't wait :)
I love to see a full take off without cutting them😊😊like this😉👍
Yes!!! I like American Airline B737-800!!!
It sucks that you're limited to two drinks in the lounge, but at least the seats on the plane are a lot better than inter European Business Class.
4:34 you can listen a alarm from the cotpick!
I just flew first class on American on a 737-800. Seat 3F. Dallas Ft. Worth to Nashville. Very enjoyable flight. If you can get it, first is the way to go.

4:35 what the hell is that sound were those pilots testing there warning systems?
It’s the overspeed warning
Jackson G overspeed
Thanks for visiting my home city of Chicago, David!!
David I love your tripreports
fantastic trip report! Meal is so good for this short flight. Yummy
First/business class on US domestic flights less than 3 hours often appears to be not worth the extra money, but this one at least gave you a fine-looking meal!
Ich liebe den Flughafen in Orlando! Ich hab dann immer das Urlaubsgefühl!
Thanks for this trip report, I was supposed to be on a flight from Orlando to Chicago as well, but I had to cancell.
I love the fact that his videos have no music so we can hear the engine sounds..:D
For David all pillows and tray tables are little pets that need petting 😄🐶
i kinda like the brutally honest episode :) -me from singapore
It's always a 75% chance you get a kind set of flight attendants on American, but when you do, it's phenomenal
Orlando is such a huge airport. loved it though .
Are all of Americans 737-800 equipped with ife in first class?
4:36 is that an overspeed warning bell going off?
No corona 6 months ago ?
Welcome back David...this is what we will all call "the good old days"... !!! So you are flying First Class and you have to pay for food in the lounge ?? And get 2 free drinks ?? Bugger that !! I like your video very much simply aviation
Amazing trip report!
Honestly I didn't expect such service and facilities from a 737. Especially with the IFE👏👏
Does the A320 family also have same facilities?
American’s sharklet-equipped Airbus 319s and 321s, and most 737s delivered from ship N939NN and newer. However, these configurations are going to be replaced by the Oasis seating with no TVs and more seats in coach.

I wish American can bring back there ifes
1:32 omg we saw David’s face. It’s happening, everybody stay calm
No
I definitely want to try American!
Nice video, David!😉😁✈️
The admirals club in Orlando is squeezed in like when you built your house too small in Minecraft
Lmao
Nice pfp, is that the A350-1000?
Are you referring to two free drinks per ticket? Pre-Covid I was always in an Admirals Club, and no one ever told me I couldnt have that third glass of wine.
Mickey Mouse always finds a way to keep our spirits up during this pandemic and 1:27 why does it look like a mall?
Love you guys!! When things get better try to do PHL transatlantic flights!!
How long timewise was flight?
Man this World was a mich happier place back then.
Yahoo! Simple aviation is back!! But how did you fly in Covid 19?
If you read the description, you’ll notice that
this flight was in August 2019, way before the pandemic. They did not fly during COVID (they are slowly starting to do so now), and they have been posting videos that they took before COVID that they didn’t get a chance to fully edit.
Abdul Rahman Riaz Ahamed he didn't.
4:36 did anyone else hear the over speed warning?
Yeah they testing it
wow i remember that airport like it was yesterday
Great trip report would love to fly American
this is a very pro AA channel
Hope you do a flight from Saint Maarten to Anguilla
5:05. Does anyone hear R2D2?
I clicked and got sent back 1min 40 seconds for a squeaky tray table
Smh
that landing, damn
4:37 did anyone els hear the over speed alert in the cabin?
Wait I thought people cannot leave Florida now
Mta Transit Wacher recorded in 2019
nice report!
I'm curious why US-domestic business class called First Class instead Business?
It goes back decades. Business Class is a much newer concept that was created as a middle ground between Coach/Economy and First Class for international travel. Non-US airlines simply call their domestic premium cabin Business Class rather than First Class.
Bro can you mention the runway numbers too during landing or Takeoff. That would be really helpful 🙂
was this filmed before the pandemic?
😍😍😍😍😍Florida!!! I miss it!!
dats my first time seeing u going to disney world
I wish domestic flights like AA, United and Delta stop calling "business class" as "first class" For the plane to have real "first class" it has to have at least 3 cabins and sometime 4 cabins.
beautiful enjoyed the flight
Being in Chicago kinda sucks that there isn’t a lot of Chicago trip reports
Greetings from Chicago
Just wait until you try Emirates’s short haul first class.
It’s basically the same suite that they offer on their long haul. This is nothing compared to EK lol.
Amazing Video!
There was cute kids in the back round it sounded soo cute on the train
Nice video !
I like Boeing 737-800
Wow i love planes :)
begs the question-how much more time did you have to kill in Chicago?
Which model microphone you are using !!?
I don’t mind recycled reports and I liked this report in both versions. Hey! Is this a reupload? I recognize the: Where are you headed too? Uh... London

Which Camera do you Use ?
May you read the description of the video 😉
When will you do a trip report to San Juan? (TJSJ)
Wow wonderful plane
