That's cause the beef Ribs they make are those NASTY ASS SHORT RIBS. Back Ribs are way better but they're super rich so they can be hard to eat. Juicier and much more flavorful.
My mom uses them to make a big Korean lettuce wrap dinner that is absolutely amazing. Plus, as a Texan, I have nothing bad to say about beef fat. It’s definitely a preference thing, and I guess a socioeconomic thing maybe, but you don’t have to get them all the time, but I would not say that they aren’t worth it.
