Great review! I'd like to offer some feedback for LEGO: Please consider offering the 12 packs that you send to LAN members to end customers as well. Many of us would prefer to buy all twelve figures directly, instead of playing the artificial gambling game of blind boxes. It feels unfair to customers. Since you already have them packaged together, it would make sense to offer them as a single set for purchase. This would not only make collectors happy but could also increase sales, as I would personally buy multiples of the 12-pack. Thank you!
It would likely decrease sales, if Lego is relying on blind purchases resulting in unwanted repeats. It's the same business model as blind packs of playing cards a la Pokémon
@@abhishekdas8026yea, if you’ve got to buy online then can’t do anything about it. Some of the other shops that sell them in the uk have usually had the side of the box opened from people seeing what was inside first…or just pinching bits.
I've seen a few with some knowledge but most have no idea what they are talking about. You would think they would take some time and do some research but with most things today people are lazy.
Fantastic review. Video quality was top-notch and editing was superb - and it shows how much you put into these videos. I absolutely appreciate the various angles and shots so we could see every detail as you described it in the voice-over. Looking forward to another review and have subbed. As for the CMF itself, I agree that LEGO has gone above my expectations. The arm and leg printing - amazing. The accessories for each figure are on point. It's like someone at LEGO was finally listening to the fan base and decided to act on it. Almost all figures have 2 accessories in addition to those PCs which have the extra heads. And then the printed base was an unexpected bonus - fantastic. I was originally thinking of picking up a few of my favorites but will likely pick up the series now. My favorite has got to be the Mind Flayer with its pet brain - I'm going to see if I can create a leash for it so the Mind Flayer can take it out for walkies.
Nice breakdown and coverage. I’d like to see LEGO release a series of mini figs that have an accessory or item that when all mini figs are used the accessory makes something else. Kind of like Voltron or transformers, etc.
This is by far the best video I’ve watched (and I’ve watched a whole bunch) on this CMF series! Thank you for your attention to detail and the close ups. I know exactly which minifigures I’ll be looking and which parts I’ll be donating away 👍
Hi @girlbricksalot - this is probably the best, and definitely my favorite, early review of the D&D CMF Series that is coming out soon. You spent a solid amount of time on each figure, showing some of the smaller details that I haven't seen done as well as you did with your review. This is the first video of yours I've come across on UA-cam - I'm pretty much just a Lego Castle / Fantasy channel, but I will definitely be combing through your other videos to see what else you might have that fits that space! Thanks for your work on this, looking forward to getting my hands on some of these soon too! Boo!
I would be interested in seeing you use the figs you have to create original characters and class combinations. Am I the only one who thinks it odd that the LEGO D&D line so far doesn't have any Humans other than the NPC in the huge set? How many folks choose Aarakocra for a player class?
It is a bit odd, but I think if they went human-heavy, it would look like they weren’t putting as much effort in. I’m hoping this is only the beginning of their DND line with more accessible sets and even more figs like this down the line, so there’s room to expand and put more human characters in.
The barbarian is carrying a horn not a flask. There is a hole in the end of it. Also the cape from the druid is the same from the Dreamzzz line just in a new color of earth green and brown.
Lego D&D gives collectors and players the perfect excuse to get out their other Lego stuff and make D&D characters out of them. In fact, there's a few channels out there that I follow where people do exactly that
This is probably the best CMF series ever made. Not a single bad minifig, the complete opposite of that ridiculous Space series. Btw, your review is a masterpiece.
Excellent review! I particularly appreciate that unlike so many reviews, you clearly know your stuff when it comes to D&D.
Thank you so much 🥹

You can scan the box to see what you’re getting.
@@32Studsthat only applies if you’re buying at retail though. Still a welcome change!

If you would buy multiple 12 packs why not just get the full case that already has 3 full sets?
Finally a review with actual knowledge of DnD instead of the surface level reviews I’ve been seeing. Thank you for your video!

Lego should have a custom minifig D&D series so people can make their characters
That would be cool for the mi ifig builder thing they have.
There are 2 more dragon minifig heads that share the same mold. A red one from vidiyo series 1 and a blue one from a hard to find vidiyo series 2.
So many great figures. Thank you for the review. Already planning MOCs to add to the dragons tale set
Amazing review! The red wizard has got to be my favorite, I’m a sucker for skeleton characters in Lego

Great review! I love your videos!
Exceptional series and details. I'm definitely going to buy a box. Great review thanks
Great vid. Lego nailed it. Sept.1st I’ll be scanning for all 12 and a couple repeats. The figs are great and the new critters are incredible.Thanks.🤠
Can't you preorder a 12-pack online?
"Lady of Pain" ... first time I ever saw her was in Planescape: Torment ... best game ever!
So from both the Lego set and the CMF the only traditional 12 class class we are missing is Monk. Sadly my favorite class and we don’t get one……

Finally, a review on YT with both Lego and D&D insight into these minifigures. 😎👍
Can't wait for these and appreciate your review plus sharing of DnD lore. It's been DECADES since I've played a DnD campaign.
Thank you for showing off the full mindflayer torso. This really is a great series. Could rival the Marvel series for me.

I hope we get an affordable play set or small bits like treasures and monsters we can combine into one.
These look great! I really like that little bird that the druid gets!

Awesome review! Helps that you have the D&D knowledge and experience.
I hope to get multiple oods.
I’m relatively new to the LEGO scene (non-Star Wars anyway), so please excuse this basic question. What does CMF stand for?
Collectible Minifigure
@@nathanklinger6808 Thank you!

Very nice Review 👌
The official Australian lego's website is saying 1st of October for release.
It's September 1st in the US
Tasha’s Hideous Laughter. Ha! I understood that reference!
Seeing those youtubers reviewing lego products not on shelves is the worst marketing tactic lego can do
I’d like the complete Dandy cmf series, 0:50. Lil lord Fauntleroy, Louis the fourteenth, Prince, Astarion, it would be awesome.
Lego D&D gives collectors and players the perfect excuse to get out their other Lego stuff and make D&D characters out of them.
In fact, there's a few channels out there that I follow where people do exactly that
I love building little factions and armies. Even got a banana split, and a cupcake war elephant. Good time to be a LEGO collecter!
This is sooo amazing!!! I'm all in!
Pretty sure Stranger Things kids called the big monater a "mind flayer" because it controlls people
Yeah the monsters in stranger things were only called those things because the kids played DnD
great review. and costly, now I'll have to get at least 2 of each 🤣
I preordered some for my brother in law’s birthday 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
awesome lineup of minifigs!
What coulor head has the elf bard?
As a fellow bay stater, have you ever found any cmf with the scannable barcodes? I’ve never seen any personally
Great review what is the website to check which one is figure your getting??
how did you acquire these minifigs a month before release? Got them from TLG directly?
Wish I did many Lego reviews so I could get these figures for free, but instead I have to wait another month when all the hype is gone 😂😢
Thank you
All these figs are a nat 20 🎲
Unfortunately no. If you want to buy all 12 figures it will cost you at least 48 bucks.
What kind of book (bestiary) is used in the video?
This is the way!
Amazing pack
The baby dragons would be perfect for the GOT Khaleesi figure! Come on, Lego!
Thry could easily move into the tt game play market
awesome review! is it 9/1 yet?! 🤪
How many figures come in the retail box?
I preordered a 3x12 box, if it's that what you mean.
36 in a box
Everything I know about D&D, I learned from watching Stranger Things 😂
didn’t know i was apart of a lego gang 😳
Nice...
YOOOOOO WE GOT A SIGG-ILL KNOWER!
😃✨️⭐️😃✨️⭐️
