Whatever the pedal or the guitar, a video with Rabea and Pete is always amazing !!
I've been hearing a lot about that TC Hall of Fame X4 Glad to see you guys review it.
These 2 guys together are amazing! We want more!
It's really interesting how brands like this always took care to the visual design, because for me performance and output is all that really matters. Really love the thought and sounds you can get out of these pedals. Cheers!
Great job guys. Love all of your videos!
great video! very entertaining and informative! I love TC's stuff and I use several of
their pieces on my board AND I'm gonna pull the trigger on the mojomojo in the
next day or three. Good job lads!
This is the best news to me. I am a user of the current gen Flashback X4 and i love it and I've been waiting for a HOF X4 since the Flashback X4 came out and I am so glad that this video showed up on my UA-cam feed. I will have to save up some money. Great Video as always guys
Every time i think my pedal board is done, something happens 😯
Beautiful finish on that
I'm suppose to be sleeping, and now you post this... God Dammit!
TC is goodness! Got a CHOKA tremolo for $35 new! Sound nice and priced right! Sweet video!
Rabea and Pete should do an ambient guitar album together
They’re good pedals. What I have got out of this video more than anything though is that I still NEEEEED a Mojomojo. What an amazing sounding pedal for £38!!
Pete when you held your phone up to Rabeas pickups that sound reminded of my old Amstrad 464 CP from 80s loading a game from the built in cassette deck . Man that made me feel old...
Yeeeeaaaaaahhhhhhh! Pete and Rabea! Do this
Awesome pedals, and such a great price too on the Andertons web site.
would work perfectly for a Mogwai, Explosions In The Sky, Caspian, If These Trees Could Talk, God is an astronaut or any other post rock band sound like video
I am not trying to be conservative with my pedal spacing. I’m late to the party and just discovering these pedals. I can’t wait to order them both! These are going to replace my line 6 hx effects. In fact I might sale my hx fx! These things are brilliant!
So its nearly 1am and I am supposed to be up and at work by 7am. Damn you Danish Pete & Bea 🙈🙈🙈
You Guys Rock 👍👍🎶🎶🎸
Oh so good
I didn’t need this until I saw it has midi in and out😳 I wish they had a smaller one with that!
That HOF is sweet.
Off topic: that is one totally gorgeous PRS. I have the t.c. electronic FlashbackX4; love it.
Oops! I have the older FlashbackX4; the Flashback2X4 isn't out yet.
I want the triple delay 2!
Your playing is great dude. And that guitar sounds top. I've always been put off PRS style guitars, but that sounds so good. Could you link to this guitar?
That's half of my pedalboard right there. MojoMojo, Flashback 2, HOF 2.
More like 2x4”... those pedals are *HUGE!!*
Will TC introduce an updated multi effects pedal in 2020? Updated nova or g system?
I would love to see a multi effects processor by TC.
That TC Electronic Hall of Fame 2 X4 looks amazing could it give an Ocean Machine a run for its money?
According to the andertons site the flashback is only £189 which seems stupidly cheap considering what it can do.
That’s a fairly large form factor... But big tc fan here, I have half their product lineup
I'd love them to have 3 or 4 parameters you could bind to the mash switches... per preset. That would be awesome! I mean - it's possible: they detect if you want tab the button or use the mash function, so why not do it on all the switches?
Pete’s having too much fun here lol
With another company doing these types of effects for guitarists. & all the other big names too together with other different synth effects. Is this the beginning of the end for keyboard players in bands now?
I don’t need these pedals. I’m just here for the bants and the riffs. Not disappointed
32nd viewer - that is the earliest I ever got in here... got to love the TC stuff - always awesome
Pete what about Boss 200 series pedal? Film is ready?
beautiful ! can I save my own preset ?
Pete, when are we going to see a video on that PRS guitar that Paul Reed Smith himself sent to you? From memory, I'm exchange for the guitar, he wanted you to do a video and tell him if it is the best guitar you have played, and if its not, why it's not the best.
See the hall of fame2 X 4 is giving me a real struggle now cause before I wanted to get the walrus audio fathoms and Arp-87 combo pedal but now that the hall of fame X 4 is out it’s a real contender
What did you end up getting? I'm considering the same
I got the combo. But I find myself wishing I had the ability to make more presets. But the reverbs on the walrus are spectacular.
Great thanks for the reply, I'm not looking to store presets so looks like I'll go with the walrus too. Cheers!
I always liked the silliness of Captain and Chappers...but the quality of gear reviews are vastly superior with Pete, Bea, Arial and the captain.
I wish they'd do an X2 line of delay and reverb pedals. I've had the original x4 since launch but it's far too big and it's really an x3 with tap-tempo (which I've never used) and a looper (which I've never used). I doubt that anyone really needs 4x reverbs.
I'm a year late, but I agree 100%, especially on the HOF. I just need at most two reverb sounds TC, come on!
@@lndndr18 They've got the Plethora X5 though, but then you'd be paying for everything else as well, so you've got a fair point indeed.
Trying to decide between these 2 or the Strymon Big Sky and Timeline. Anyone have any suggestions on which ones I should get?
Pete really didn’t know what he was talking about here.
For 350€ or so Id franky expected nothing less with the CPU power a box like that can hold. Mechanical its a cast alu box with a switch that has an old function with a new implementation. If you compare it with any current multi effect its not that special. I think that TC has clevery maintained the allure of stomp box credibility in a purely digital domain. Well done. I want them both. It worked on me too.
These pedals sound like the gates of heaven
Just a bit worried about how long a pedal will hold up considering it has a touch sensitive thing operated by a foot.
I've always been a bit cautious with TC pedals due to their notoriously dodgy footswitches.
new toys, basically more of the same, blabla... rabea has got incredible tone in his fingers, that's why i keep coming back to this channel, honestly.
Wait until The Edge gets these. Haha, Joshua Tree 2.0
Fros in spaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaace!
Sounded really good but not good enough to make me give up my Eventide H9.
The one thing I don't like about these TC pedals is the lack of tweakability from the units themselves. I know you can use the app to deep-edit effects, but I find that more of a hassle than a feature.
If only that Hall of Fame unit had the Quadrature effect that would let you play at high volumes without the howl-round.
I think the link for the hall of fame 2 is broken
How does it compare to the halo pedal
Grinding gears ft. Pete Honore
😀😀😀
So these two or plethora x5
The most low energy I've ever seen Rabea
metalmulisha0143 touring with Leo and Toska like a rockstar!
Feels like the two of them should have been rack units 😂
It's the same like to have big sky and timeline of strymon but cheaper
If bea and pete ever did a show where they just jammed I would go see that.
Those aren't pedals. They're lunch boxes.
Joe Satriani vibes :)
Home
Why does the mojomojo get so over looked? It's an awesome overdrive.
The overdrive market is ultra saturated. I just know that Paul Gilbert keeps this bad boy on all the time. But other than that, it feels like an under the radar pedal.
Demo one at a time brother
A real drawback is the fact that you can't make a preset with two independent delays in series. For example, I like to use an extremely short delay to fatten the tone, followed by a dotted eights note delay with modulation. The pedal has by far enough processing power to do that, it's a limitation that could be fixed with a software update. But that will never happen in this company.
Now if they would only fix the firmware issues on the Dittox4.......(sigh).
Did you guys see the new Guinness World Record pedal board at Sweetwater music store here in the US? 70 feet long and 319 pedals! Cool thing is, Rob Scallon and Alex Lifeson are using CHAPMAN GUITARS to play through it!! Search YT for 'Sweetwater' and you'll find the videos. I sent a note to Rob but don't know if he'll see it. Gary
honestly guys, i'm getting tired of people complaining about the size of the pedals, but it's a freaking pain all of these mooer sized pedals, or two switches on a pedal that is the size of a carbon copy, when you wear shoes, on stage and try to activate one pedal and you end up turning on 50 pedals with your foot ... yeah no thanks
Space Cake Corner = Pete's Corner
I liked the original x4 delay but way too big for the board!
14:53
Jesus fuckin Christ I actually looked to my right. Thought The Great Dane himself was in the room. Shit myself.
20 mins of rabea playing delays? That's a click.
You can’t use the delays and the looper at the same time.
First, second and third!!!
Way to big. Sounds great but will stick with my HoF2 as it does everything I need. Again way to big for me..
that whistle noise is so annoying
to ruin a pedalboard lol or just having some pedals is better after that
and
Eventide: check it out lol !
Berhringer cheat
Never buy a TC Electronic pedal- when they break, and mine and others are/do- you will never be able to get any service, under warranty or not. I have a Hall of Fame 2, not correctly working, and there is no place ANYWHERE to get service. Music Tribe (the alleged service contact) fails to respond to any request. Just do a search for "TC Electronic pedals suck" and read the horror stories. forums.musicplayer.com/ubbthreads.php/topics/2517128/TC_Electronic_Sucks
too big
man i like flashback2 x 4 but all these pedals look so ugly on the pedalboard, also I'd rather spend 200eur in a KMA, Walrus or OBNE pedal than in a tc electronic. Still tc electronic has so many good economic pedals.
It seems like too much going on, which just distracts the player
Spacey, but in a good way- not like Kevin Spacey.
The mash effect is not usable. I've seen many demo videos on mash....it's ridiculous. Vomical. It does not augment or add anything musical to one's delay playing. There is no formal structure or development in the piece. Not sonically pleasing, but not interesting artistically.
...all looks way to complicated to me
Please !! Not PRS !! Can't watch. Yuck.
