One of the biggest cities in the world, with over 30 million people, Chongqing is an exciting metropolis. Few places in China, or anywhere else can claim an annual GDP growth rate of at least 10 percent for well over a decade. For me, Chongqing is rather like a small province, with a core city of over 8 million people. Economic growth began to take off spectacularly since Chongqing became its own municipality, separate from Sichuan province in 1997.

"little" new york? That's so insulting. This is far greater in history, infrastructure and people.
New York is nothing like this. New York City IS very pretty in its own way, but this great Chinese city is on another level. What a gorgrous and stunning feat of city planning and engineering.
New York can't even compare to this city. This city is far more advanced.
Maybe i missed something in this video but it appears to me that the most important information regarding this city was omitted : - CHONGQING is the biggest city in the world. Its square is enormous
As a New Yorker, it's silly to call Chongqing "Little New York", it's Chongqing. I've been there. Beautiful city, Different culture. I can appreciate both.👍
More modern and less developed than NY, my opinion
Little New-York? It looks way better than New-York .
You can really see here that the government does not do any corruption, because you can see where the people's taxes have been used.
We could visit Chongqing later this year. Someone mentioned going to Yunnan Province. Maybe we can visit both places. My Chinese friends will decide where we go. It's always an adventure when visiting China.

I was there summer of 2008 it was an amazing city (especially at night when it turned into something from the future Bladerunner) then I can only imagine it now!!

OMG. China is atleast 300 Years ahead of us Indians. We will never be able to catch them in the next 300 years even because by then China will be 1000 years ahead of us indians.
I hope to visit this city someday, and preach the Gospel there, May the Good Lord permit it to be so
