Hey I taught at Yitong in 2012-2013 and lived in this same apartment complex, maybe the same apartment you were in. When I was there, that shopping mall you visit didn't exist, so it's cool to see how it developed fast. The closet grocery store was a 20 minute walk. I wonder what it's like now. This area had the best food of anywhere I lived in China, I still miss it. Thanks for sharing.

winter is dry season in chogngqing. so the river is shallower. in summer, the river sometimes even flood the whole river bank. thats why the lowest level of roads in Chongqing are still 10 floors higher than the river bank.
