There are so many versions of this song, in the world. This one is particularly poignant. I could feel Leonard Cohen and hear his voice singing your translation of his words. Thank-you for this gift to the slowly dying Yiddish language. It is this kind of creative force that makes the Yiddish language relevant in today’s world.
