So beautiful 🙏🏼♥️🙏🏼 - I am here after watching “The Awakening of Motti Walkenbruch”. I wanted to see the lyrics in Yiddish and am pleasantly surprised to find them here. There are so many versions of this song, in the world. This one is particularly poignant. I could feel Leonard Cohen and hear his voice singing your translation of his words. Thank-you for this gift to the slowly dying Yiddish language. It is this kind of creative force that makes the Yiddish language relevant in today’s world.
