Mike would've still gone on to his first love of Mr Bungle and he's thank Eff for that..but fact is no record label would've signed MB without the opportunity and popularity of FNM bc there just wasn't a label that would sign them and no money to be made off of them. But Karma unfortunately hurt MP in the form of AK getting MB KICKED off all booked stadium and festival bookings. Where Billy silently kept his glee hidden..so that MP had to stay with FNM. Billy goat ruined so very much..for all.

He literally carried it around for protection..it was small enough to carry in his jacket pockets. .. another story about cliff was.
