The eye comes up with tricks to compensate for the loss of binocular depth perception - for example, if you have an idea of an object's relative size you can judge its distance using your experience of how far objects of that size has been from you in the past.
Kurt Russell played baseball all throughout his youth so it is no surprise that he retained his physicality in his middle age. I enjoyed him most in the movie Soldier, as Todd. ^_^
one the more iconic scenes in movie history. so brilliant conceived and Russell shows just the right amount of tension and swagger to make it absolutely believable. I am amazed why this movie did not do well. Its a classic.
I like the idea of "Chance" in terms of, "If you don't do anything, you know you will lose, so try anything." Even the tiniest of possibilities makes anything worth a shot. You only know fully what will happen ONLY if you quit.
Back in High School someone in my class could always make a basket across the court by throwing the basketball like Snake just did without missing which was amazing to watch
