Steve my Nastursiums I grew from seed maybe 6 weeks ago have grown so much too! I need to pot them on very soon. I didn’t know the leaves are edible! Your tomatoes 🍅 have gone crazy, they’re obviously happy there. Like the foil idea for extra light. Good luck with the seeds. The chillies, I tried to over winter some before, and they died on me, so I'm in 2 minds, I have some seed so it won't be the end of the world if I lose them but it's interesting none the less. My husband loves scotch bonnets. He likes 6 in the stew we make hot pepper. 🥵 Good idea in regards to providing light/ heat. From the sun with the sunlight and foil paper genius idea. Still watching.

1st time ive heard of a hy....bucket lol i am not going to try and prononunce it. Ha ha ha 🤣 The roots were big enough to be a tree 😆😅awww r.i.p melons....beautiful colour and selection of flowers at the end coupled with what sounds like royal family music haaah. Nice production.
Hydroponic lol it's something I've been experimenting with this year. I spent last winter watching other people doing it so I thought, sod it I'll give it a go. Now I'm hooked it works well with less work for me once it's all set up. The flowers are all I have left growing now, and the music is from the yt audio library (with no attributions) I just found something to fit the time span. The roots are something else right? I never seen roots as big as you get with hydroponic growing. Keep well and stay safe my friend All the best Steve

Hi Steve I like how you are maximising your growing season. Our growing season has just started. We have recently planted 8 chilli plants (extremely hot trinidad scorpion) in self watering pots. Hope you get some some good yields from everything you have planted.

I don't have a greenhouse ..yet..but maybe I can turn my editing room into one big aluminum plantroom/greenhouse 😂😂 I had a small portable greenhouse from Amazon but I think the wind blew it away. I can't find that thing. Maybe my boys hid it from me 😣😂 Any suggestions for plants that will make my eyesight better? This year I've gone blind 🤓 Love your post have a great one today friend 👍
I had one of those portable plastic greenhouses first strawberry Milkshake, 🥤🍓but it split in the wind. This one was free from facebook. A friend of mine knew I was after one, he saw it advertised for free and he dismantled it for me and fitted it up in my garden. Plants for good eyesight, carrots,🥕🥕 you never see a blind rabbit🐰🐰 lol Enjoy your week my friend. All the best Steve

Yeah I think the zucchini has had its day and is ready to go. I don't want to stop growing vegetables and fruits but I've finally come to the realization that, I'm way past my best days. I won't stop trying to grow until my body refuses to go. Some days it does exactly that 🙄. The root system on those hydro plants are amazing!

Thats a brilliant idea using aluminum. I have a lemon plant which is only getting partial sun. Its has not given me any fruit for a whole year. Going to try the aluminum thing. Hopefully this might help. 😊
Where did you get that foil? Do you think it would help our indoor plants? We have two 2 meters tall tomatoes plants behind the glass door to our backyard.. not sure if they have enough light.. north east located.. They are still producing tomatoes. wow you have soo many plants in your greenhouse. By the way we did all the things at the end too..
The foil is one of those emergency foil blankets, I got a 2 pack from e-bay for around £1.00 or £1.99 I can't remember now. It's worth a try with the tomatoes, as they're indoors maybe you could train a light with a strong bulb on it at the plants... I've always wanted a greenhouse. Your's looks great. I did get a small one that sits on my deck that helps extend my growing season.
I would be lost without mine now. As you say it extends the season and it helps ripen fruit etc...
