Yeah Caitlin you didn't look stupid at all to me. It's really cool that you are trying to change yourself and get out of your comfort zone little by little. This video filled me with more confidence because now I know that even youtube stars or very pretty girls have the same problems that I have. We are all worried about similar things. Caitlin is very brave for doing this video! And I’m genuinely saying that. It takes courage to “put yourself out there” and let others see your “insecurities”. Not everyone can do that.
I totally relate to the giddy laughter thing when I think someone is “cooler” than me - even when I’m meeting someone in a platonic setting! I think it stems from silly high school stuff that we eventually shake off and realize that no one is cooler than anyone else; just different. Caitlin is definitely not alone in it. Thanks for this vid - I learned a lot!
I think me and ALOT of other girls can say we relate 100000% I for one totally relate to this. I do become super nice, scared to rock the boat and honestly come off boring. Cause I don’t want to show my aunthentic self to a hottie. Over text I do great but in person I barley open up and be vulnerable. I salute Caitlin for doing this and I know over time she’ll definitely be greatful she went on this date cause now she knows what’s to be improved on. Props to her I know the second time around she’ll let her guard down.
What I like about your version of this is that the 2 people don't always have to go on a second date and that's okay. It makes it more realistic when both of the people have a choice and they're both okay with the outcome

I asked my fiancé the other day to rate me on a scale of 1-10 how good of a flirt I am (I knew he’d be honest) and he said “an 11, you just look at someone and they are like “omg she likes me!” I’m really good at eye contact, teasing, and being super honest and genuine and I didn’t realize till more recently how much some girls struggle with these things. But as someone who also gets a little shy and insecure with super attractive guys, hanging with them first in a casual way as friends among other friends takes off so much of the pressure and makes it a lot easier to just be yourself. This was how I got my man, I befriended one of his friends cause I thought he was so cute and then before I knew it he was introducing me to the rest of his friends and his friend group became mine too and we got super close before we officially dated (: he started asking me to hang out just us and then on actual dates so it was such a smooth comfortable transition that’s allowed me to always feel like I can be myself with him so seriously recommend going for people you meet in person as opposed to awkward tinder dates!

She really liked him thats why she was THAT nervous. I know that feeling and it is really shitty feeling because its like you cant control, you feel like you really like someone and you cant look him in the eye because you're very shy, and when it comes to talking and connecting you seem dumb af because you cant focus bc you like that person. (Physically)
P.s. when you giving advice and talking to this girls who are insecure, I kinda feel like your talking is boosting my confidence.

I knew exactly what that eye roll meant lol. One of my pet peeves when I can tell someone’s not truly engaged when speaking to me. She seems like a kind person though. Instead of just laughing at his story she could have related back to a similar story of her own or another personal connection to what he was saying
Wow, I didn’t realize how a lot of other women struggle on being themselves on a first date. I’m naturally very outgoing and confident and I like to make fun of myself a lot and tease as well so I didn’t realize how other girls struggle in this. I’m someone who makes a lot of eye contact as well so I was also put off by the lack of eye contact Caitlin was giving, it was obvious that she was a bit nervous while CJ was very confident and his personality shone through. I realized that I don’t notice how physically attractive someone is initially (until we’re on our 3rd date and that’s when I notice like “oh my hes actually REALLY handsome” 😂) since I focus more on how we’re interacting with each other. I guess that’s also helped me be myself since I focus more on the banter and connection. Hoping Caitlin gets to have her true self shine through next time and be more confident! Rooting for her!

I relate to her so much and basically everything wrong that she did I do on a daily basis not only with people I am attracted to but just with anyone that I perceive to be better than me in any way. I’m so happy I found your account. There is so much I can learn from in order to better my social experiences. I’ve been struggling with overthinking and anxiety for a while which is weird for me because I love to open up and show my true self, it’s just so much rewarding. Anthony I love this content you are creating. Seriously, your approach to dating feels so humane to me and it explains to me why other dating methods just felt wrong to me. So many dating guru's guides etc try to craft a person into * elite alpha male #1024 and counting (forsaking who that person is in the process) but you take what the people already have in them and teach them to grow that. It's truly beautiful.

This is really insightful actually. I didn't start dating until a couple of years ago (I'm 33 so I guess that's late), but I've never had any success ever. I'm in a wheelchair which complicates things. It's also a nice way to establish trust because I need a little help sometimes, and it almost forces physical contact and reliance. I can walk, for instance, when holding onto someone (eeeey). But yeah, I really like watching this.

I agree with most of those things. But the most important thing is to be yourself and not care what the person thinks of you. Rather if it is that you are someone that talks less or more, whether you are too polite or not. The best is to just be yourself!
