Big project. I've heard many builders say they spent $1200-$2000+ on building a small teardrop trailer. I'd advise you to at least get a significant down payment before starting cause it looks like there's a LOT of work to be done.
I suggest you check out Mobiltec, a fellow UA-camr that specializes in restoring vintage trailers. He has a bunch of videos that would be very helpful to your project. All the best.
