RV Hack - put bars of Irish spring soap, peppermint or eucalyptus oil to repel and prevent mice. It really works. We use it in all of our rental and vacation properties.
@@elsands9774very very annoying! Comedy and humor should be natural whilst hers was forced and uncomfortable. That music at the beginning added an extra dollop of annoying as well. Skipped here and there but about 7 minutes in and I've had enough!
It's true u aren't coming weaklings 😂😂😂I only want strong children now 100 ur gonna parish all of u but 100 I don't want that many children with my new husband I will later 💃💃💃💃🥳🥳👍💪💪💪💪 I win again
I lived in a 16 foot camper for 5 years while I was a Traveling tech for Indian Motorcycles and absolutely loved every minute of it. I also moved into a regular house and have lived here for 2 years and I'm ready to go tiny again, so I bought a piece of property and I'm going to build a tiny a frame.
Hello ... I love the older trailers, they are very charming. For food storage, try tin canisters. You can get large round ones that come with popcorn at Christmas time and IKEA has some too. For mice, etc. ... try peppermint essential oil ... sprayed in the cabinets, corners, baseboards, etc. Happy Trails.
I’m envious ☺️ Not perfect, but still perfect 😁 She’s a gem also. Not afraid to live in something like this and willing to go hands on when things need to be done. 👍😎
@johnfowler9253 Don't knock the old trailer, some of them have great strengths that are worth saving. I enjoy bringing new life to retro camping vehicles. Sometimes they were built better.
Mice will run up your power cord and get into the trailer. I switched mine out to the "RV Power Inlet Plug Cable Electrical Locking Adapter Converter Socket with Twist Lock (30A 125V White) for Camper". They will also run up the tires and get in between the wheelwells and the outside wall.....I spray foamed that. It's been 3 years and not one mouse. Good luck!
I think my niece is your doppelganger, and I can totally see her doing this! Heck, I wish I had done something like this when I was young (once). Your Shasta is super cute, and your sense of humor is very entertaining LOL. Thank you for sharing your little paradise with us! 😊
I love those vintage trailers SO much more than the modern ones because they're wider, the windows are larger, and the interior styling is just so much more pleasant, relaxed, and roomy. It's amazing everything is still working. I'm curious though ... where does she live? Seems a gorgeous area!
This is awesome!!! I'm sure you're not stressing about high rent prices, you have freedom to do or live however you want. This is the American dream! Good stuff!
OMG when I left home at the age of 16 I lived in this same camper. The closet had double doors with with mirrors the bathroom door also had a full mirror. Same color stove. I loved all the wood colors it came with. I left the seating / sleepingg area the way it was. Above the sitting area had a closed in storage area with 3 doors. This was in the late 70's and I paid $200 a month all bills paid, except propane. I loved living in it
The roof over got my attention right away. A must!! Beautiful area! Great video. Love seeing someone living just fine without spending a fortune. Especially nowadays.
First time seeing your channel….gonna have to admit I enjoyed it. It was refreshing to see someone doing one of these and it just seems to be natural. Makes it worth watching and enjoying. I had a little 1962 vintage trailer at the beach….lotta work went into it. I sold it when my husband got really sick and we couldn’t enjoy it anymore but I did love it. Your doggie is absolutely gorgeous! And I really love what you’ve got going on with the trailer. Looks calm and looks like it’s in such a pretty spot. I’ll have to find more of your videos. Keep up the good work….and I adore your personality…..you’d do great in my family…I raised my kids and grandkids on sarcasm….funny sarcasm. Stay safe and get rid of all mice around!
Came across this video accidentally. I love to see new life put into something old. You have a delightful personality. I love your humor. Thanks for sharing.
Our neighbor runs a string of lights with pretty big bulbs under their camper and pick-up truck. No mice!!! They were getting into his truck motor and the camper.
I am so jealous. I’m 68 and would have loved this instead of my first home. If you have a dream. Go for it! Do end up wishing up would have done something.
Very nice. I Hate mice. We found an easy recipe to get rid of them. Mix equal parts jiffy corn bread mix with baking soda, put in a disposable container that the mice can crawl into. Hope this helps. Thanks for the video.
Deadly vibe to this video! Loved it! (Dusty is probably exploring the possibility for another exit/entrance to her den, or there's a critter there: :) ) Can't wait to see your jump in the future!
Fill a sachet with cloves, cinnamon, all spice, nutmeg and place in cabinets , mice hate it . Use these to winterize our RV, smells amazing . Small dehumidifier is how to handle moisture.
So cozy and warm feeling retro style. I know there will be some troubles to live in trailer but I think I can enjoy that too. But I can't because I have family to taking care of....
Very cool ! A bit of white metal flashing and a rivet gun can make a shroud for the chimney pretty easily. ti snips needed also then wood stove silicone at the end then done. then just cut the silicone to remove if needed.
I have the same exact camper, and the one thing that I didn’t do that she did was changed the bed. I still have the foldable benches still only because if you permanently keep them pulled out all the way until they stop you can actually remove the folding cushions and put a 4 inch king size memory foam bed on it but the only reason why I didn’t do that is because when you live in a 22 foot camper full-time all year round even in the winter time you tend to not want to have a bed permanently set up so that you do not fall asleep while you’re watching TV as well as you get more space that way

I have mice in my single wide newer mobile home, and they love to eat Irish Spring soap!
Urinal blocks around establishment also keeps bears aeay
Away
@@northernbettygirlmy place too! Not only Irish Spring soap but Ivory, Dove and even chewed a bottle of Dawn dish soap.
Peppermint oil works...
Whoever's editing this is really good,, she's real funny too,,
you're right, she is quite the character :)))
To funny, I found her annoying lol….

Looks very good but where are the blue tarps? Ha ha no it looks way uptown.😮

Beautiful! I think the wood burning stove is a great idea!
The exterior snowing shot with the warm interior lights: ooh la la

I love your home! It’s lovely and really well put together. You have a great personality, too!

Loved the tour. Done authentically. ✌️
I love this! To deal with the infestation I would put all dry food/pasta/snacks into glass jars new or bought from Goodwill/thrift stores.
