Just a comment on the clamp itself. Yes, maybe the bolt connections could be more user friendly, but as for stability and clamping pressure, this clamp is a monster. It is rugged. I clamped a 2"x12"x8' piece of walnut on my Hammer K3 for the final cross cuts and it was solid as a rock. As a side note, I keep the Allen wrench for adjustments in the top drawer of my tool chest, it's easy to find and takes about 30 seconds to tighten or loosen the bolts.
I agree the clamp is a tank! It has more than ample clamping force. If you're looking for a quick project sometime try the clamping levers; I feel that they improve the clamp. Happy woodworking!
Awesome! Where did you get the clamps? I definitely want to get a set as I'd be much more likely to use this clamp with your enhancement! Thanks for the shout out!
I'm glad the you like the idea. I feel it makes a huge difference. You will want the M8x60mm size clamping levers. I bought mine off of Amazon. Here's the link: www.amazon.co.uk/Adjustable-Handle-Clamping-Lever-Thread/dp/B07FYDJBMQ/ref=sr_1_7?dchild=1&keywords=Adjustable%2BHandle%2BClamping%2BLever%2Bwith%2BStud%2BMale%2BThread%2BAdjustable%2BClamping%2BHandle%2BLever%2BM8%2B16-60%2Bmm(M860)%2BBrand%3A%2BKeenso&qid=1608643313&sr=8-7&th=1
Shoot, bud, I work these all day, and you guys make it look so painful! lol. I told cut it with a hammer I would make a video, and I'm filming it tomorrow! Cheers.
Not sure why your clamp has Allen keys , I have a FELDER C745 and to tighten my clamp I simply turn( twist) the vertical round bar which tightened it to the sliding table , a lot simpler and takes seconds. You should look into it.
I don't know why they just don't make them similar to uni-strut nuts to clamp them. Two rounded opposing corners and two square opposing corners on the clamp in the slot, a turn of the base 90° and the nut catches allowing you to tighten the base down. No Allen wrench or kip handle bolts necessary, and you could drop it in the middle of the slot and tighten it instead of sliding in from the end. i.ebayimg.com/images/g/Bu8AAOSwwD1dp2~K/s-l225.jpg

This feels like the beginning of a great channel. Just relax bro. Very helpful tip for the eccentric clamp.

It could be the difference between the hammer eccentric clamp and the felder version.
