I would be very interested to see another video by you in which you test the accuracy of the angle indicator. I'm waiting for my K3 to arrive. Mine is configured very similarly to yours. I am all for buying add ons that improve the accuracy of the machine. For that reason, I bought the fine-adjust knob for the improved fence. If the angle gauge is accurate, I would order that, too.
Hi John. I just made a brief video that tests the accuracy and precision of the accessory gauge. It can be found here: ua-cam.com/video/F5A-c9gE_4Q/v-deo.html
Interesting. I don't recall that this was available when I ordered my saw. I'd be curious about the accuracy. I've never found stickers to be accurate on any saw. If I tilt my blade to the 45 degree stop, I find the sticker is about a degree off. What I am interested in is the power buttons on the front edge. Was that part of your original order? I'd rather use these buttons than the ones on the main panel. Perhaps there's a difference between your K3 and my B3.
I don't think the indicator was available when I ordered my saw either. The power button location I think is standard for the K3. The saw frame appears to be the same across their lines. If you noticed on the video behind the red trim panel are cutouts for a power button.
Mine has the power button to the right of the blade height adjustment wheel. There are holes and a punch-out on the left side, which I suspect would be more useful position.
@@Wayfarer-Sailing It could be great to have at least a kill switch on the bevel adjustment side. I think I will check out the wiring schematic and see how easy it would be.
Also interested in the Power button on the left corner on your K3 .. I wonder if the North American K3 saws only have the On/Off on the right of the tilt crank on that plate. Mine does have a Emergency stop button on the Red side cover but it’s not on your K3.

I was this close to amending my K700 order ->
Ahh bigger better toys. The power drive is certainly king. I'm glad you kept it!
@@builtfixed6611 - There is really a lack of “here’s how these things work” kind of videos on YT, yours are awesome!
Very cool. I wish Sawstop would make an add on like that.
Agreed. Stickers on machines should be taboo!

@@builtfixed6611 I did notice a week or two ago that there is a punch-out for a switch on my frame.

Felder design team really didn't think that set screw access through very well did they?
I think I also would have prefered a more positive connection similar to the A3 where a bolt passes through both the wheel and spindle.
