OK you got me with the penny in the cigarette lighter LOL. Those brackets are pretty slick. Easy to add and remove if you wanted. You're better than me I need to finish wiring my aux lighting properly. Got 2 lights to install on my push bar still to install and my LED bed lighting is just lazily hanging under the dash.
Hahaha! My 2 year old was in the truck while I was filming and she dropped a few of them in the cigarette lighter. Lol They are and I think I found them by accident years ago. Hey, wiring is actually tedious and it takes a lot of planning for it to look really good. I’d give mine a B. I’m sure there are way more professional wiring jobs out there.
I put my rocker switches in the bezel, and put Autometer gauges in the 4 gauge spot, barely fit. I also like my double din conversion. Have to carve the dash a little and paint the piece, but love mine with backup camera
Nice tutorial. Are the mounting bolts for the lamps stainless steel? If not, I think I’d switch them for stainless ones or you’ll eventually get rust stains on the fender from the bolts dripping rust - plus they’ll look crappy if they are rusty themselves. The brackets are a neat design. 👍🏻
From all the how-to vids on youtube this one is just awesome - wish you were my organic chemistry teacher I would have got an A -🥰😍🤩😘- its just the way you talk and explain is A-plus also you are extremely cute!!!
Hahahaha! I wish I was doing something fun like that with these ditch lights. In Iowa, these are normally meant to illuminate the sides of the road so that you can look down into the ditch, spot deer, or have more light as you turn or descend a slight slope.
I have the same Gold Battery Terminals. My original set got ruined when my Dad sprayed CRC Battery Terminal Protection on them. The gold plating did not like that stuff
I was wondering if one day you could show a video of the windshield wiper linkage assembly. When I turn on my wipers to max speed its still slow by a lot. Maybe I would need to lubricate the linkages with wd40?? Thanks! :D

I currently have a 91 obs and I got it from a previous owner who I knew and that trucker has been inoperable and sitting since 2019 so there's a lot of tasks to be done and your videos help a lot. The dipstick tube snapped so I'm trying to figure how to take on that job at the moment.

Yeah I’m typically not a huge fan of altering the stock interior, but I saw this as a major benefit to my truck. The retrofit is also very stock looking.
Ok so I have replaced all my ignition components all but the distributer and I'm getting a misfire with really awful gas mileage so I'm not sure what to do at this point. New ICM,Ignition coil,Plugs and wires and cap and rotar.

Lol I also put in a 99 explorer overhead console and spliced in my psom for windchill cal, and love the compass and temp gauge:)
Nice! It takes some skill to come up with ways to mount more gauges in these trucks. Not a whole lot of flat surfaces.

That would make a good video. So far I don’t have that issue. I would try using lubricant first and then go from there.

I don’t know the size off hand. My suggestion is taking on of the bolts to a hardware store and matching it if possible.

Did you remove the cruise control? I don’t see the sensor on the brake cylinder
I retrofitted cruise control into my truck. I still need to convert to a cruise master brake cylinder.
I like the idea, but tearing out the original ash tray, and courtesy light, I would have just put it underneath the dash.
