Absolutely no wonder why Korda is smashing it with such a passionate guy at the helm. Can see that every single time Danny nets a fish he's genuinely loving it. The quality of these videos is outstanding as well, it's the reason I don't mind paying a few extra quid for some Korda tackle when I could get similar stuff for less. Keep it up!

Zyv Is not sure how you can say that? Clearly he has a passion for angling. He’s combined that with obviously being a good businessman and as a result is extremely successful.
Zyv Is I haven’t mentioned about his angling ability. Just the fact he gets a lot of undue stick, when he puts a hell of a lot back into angling when he doesn’t have to.

Well said James, there's to much negativity around Korda and Danny in particular.
Its been 10 years since I last cast a rod out, and things are still the same; people getting salty over Korda. None of korda gear failed or was deffective, I cannot say the same for the other companys I used.

Hats off to ya Dan with the piece about protecting against the sun I'm a Dustman and this year has been exceptionally hot my arms are a real dark shade of ebony but I've put on the extra factor and all that and a cap but I've a dark mole on back .

yeah but thats one thing they do. another example is when they have a hook bait at the bottom half the time there won't be any fishing near the hookbait maybe just some in the area and then they reel it in and say ''oh yeah well I made a little tweak to my rig and caught this 40 pounder'' its not because he's changed the rig, half the time its probably because a few fish have come over his spot and decided to take the hook bait he probably would have caught it if he didn't change anything its just waiting for the fish to pass and come near your hook bait changing stuff doesn't always work but if they do and then catch they'll say it because they changed it and its so annoying

Richard Howes 99% of packet hooks are sharp enough. The trick is to put a burr in it, stays in 100% of the time.
You can tell the difference in taste between them 2 buckets of maize cos one is full of lake water! Lol love you df you are a star! Get in!!!

Always enjoy the Korda videos and Danny's knowledge is incredible, ive learnt so much watching these.
My one gripe is when we see the rigs they are always using Barbed hooks, the amount of time we hear about looking after the fish you catch and we see barbs, what makes it worse is Danny's lakes rules have barbless only. I can only hope these are used to reduce the lost fish while filming.
Barbless hooks actually are worse for the fish then barbed. That's why in the Eu usually micro barb is the way to go. It is because once a fish is nailed on a barbed hook it isnt going anywhere. On a barbless you have the hook moving and if the fish shakes his head it may come out and re hook in a different part of the mouth or even in a worse spot. You will never catch me fishing barbless for that reason
