I remember when Clean Cut Steve Garvey bought a condo in downtown L.A, a ten minute drive from the stadium for his mistress while he was still married and with the Dodgers. So how many of his Dodgers or Padres former teammates are supporting him for his bid to be the Senator from California? And as Senator, he will be in his 80’s in only his second term. Kinda like starting your professional baseball career at age 40, with no political experience except as High School Homeroom’s Vice President.

Barbara Lee is the only California US Senate candidate to carry his goals forward. We've hit some bumps, but outreach and community investment are working. Governor Newsom's new 10-point plan to help Oakland is a great example. Change doesn't happen overnight - but we will get there. Vote blue up and down your ballot, and stay the course.
