I cannot wait for A Wonderful Life to come out, I screamed when I saw it in the direct. It’s one of my favorites in the franchise. Fun fact: A Wonderful Life is how the creator of the whole Harvest Moon franchise had intended his games. You don’t play indefinitely and your character ages and so on.

I played the hell out of a wonderful life back when it was on GameCube. It was my favorite one for the aging progression and idk why they never did it after. I hope it's enough change in the game so I don't feel like I'm playing what I did from 04-08
I cant wait for fall of porcupine!! It looks so good, i love a good "seemingly peaceful town with dark secrets" trope. And the art style is on point. Im also super fascinated by crime o'clock, though i am slightly disappointed with hey didn't go with the title Crime Travel heheh
Fall of Porcupine reminds me a lot of a game called Night in the Woods which is, to this day, on of my favorite indie-cozy games on the Switch. @Eeowna if you have never played it I HIGHLY recommend it 😊

I've only played one harvest moon game and its called tree of tranquility and i was obsessed with that game. this is the first time in a while that I'm actually looking forward to a farming sim game as it's hard to actually keep me interested so thank you for sharing this game!
I am beyond excited for the new SoS and some of these games look soooooo adorable - part of me wants to wait until September because there is nothing cozy about the sweaty moist heat of the UK and my chonky thighs peeling off the leather chair as I pray for cold rainy weather lmao

@@spiralbuddy yeah you didn’t get that option in the original sadly. But when the special edition came out on the PS2 you had the heavenly chapter (think that was the name) and you could continue on as yourself

Another game that is very worth looking forward to is Loop8 - Summer of Gods on June 9th. I think it's up to preference if u see it as cozy but for me it definitely is 😊💜

OMG, I was hoping and praying that Dordogne would get a Switch Port because even though I did add it to my Steam Wishlist, due to how slow certain games play on my computer, I think it'll be perform better on my Switch so I am so happy. Here's hoping it is cheap in Dollar amounts on the Switch too. That price amount you mentioned also tells me it's not going to be a very long game either, but I am totally fine with that. I know the company behind it is French, and I think I remember hearing that much of the environment is based around the French countryside, so I am excited to play this game. I am definitely getting Story of Seasons. Just don't know when because while I could afford the previous game mentioned, I don't know if I'll be able to afford this game just yet. Dog one look so cute too. I think I'll wait to find out how many dog breeds there will be (and the price) before I make a final decision.

Now known as the story of seasons thanks to you I know this information am I supposed to get the regular edition or the premier edition? Also, this comes out two days before my birthday, and I’m treating myself like my tears of the kingdom, Oled wasn’t my gift to my self for my birthday.
One weird trait about AWL is while others age, people who are quite clearly in their 70s-90s at the start outlive you, and your character is supposedly in their very early 20s at the start. As for little friends puppy island, I have little friends dogs and cats. It is NOT as great as you expect. Sure this new one is likely better, but don't get your hopes up.
The Harvest Moon franchise seems to be a favorite among cozy gamers. I’ve only had a Switch for 3 years and can’t find the game. Was it only for game cube?

Not exactly cozy but I'm most looking forward to the etrian odyssey collection. I plan to get sos:awl eventually though. Some Japanese game play videos raised my interest from meh to 75% 😅
Demos are steam only for the most part sadly, most indies don’t bring demos to the switch! But I normally stream and post up first impressions fairly fast
The narrative adventure games look interesting. So does Crime O'Clock and Ghost Trick. I'm not interested in A Wonderful Life, but then I played the original where your game ended when you died, and I felt like it wasn't cosy enough because it moved on to new chapters and forced marriage etc on me too quickly. Even if they've fixed those things in this version it still feels not nice for me. Now if they remake Tree of Tranquility, or Animal Parade, or the little robot PSP game that was supposed to be a spinoff like Rune Factory but it didn't sell well, I'd be all over them.
Oh how I wish I could use a switch, the screen is too small and the tv is too far away. I need a 17 inch laptop zoomed in to be able to play and I miss Mario soooo much. I wonder if I wrote them a soppy letter would they put the Mario games on Steam! Thanks so much for these vids my wish list is growing daily :0) xxx

Nah story of seasons games have the same mechanics but each are their own self contained games 😊 so this one being your first is absolutely fine! I’ve been enjoying mineral town at the moment

If you have a switch you should be fine, just make a new Nintendo account set it to uk, and you should be able to buy the game like that! Thankfully Nintendo switches aren’t region locked

No. They simply get older and that’s it.
In the original game your character dies and the game ends. You don’t get to play indefinitely. You actually watch your own funeral.

This is normal 😊 most games won’t show up till week of release! It’s only big Nintendo first party releases that are up for months before

Story of seasons is harvest moon 😊 there was some copy right issues which meant the og harvest moon devs had to rename it to story of seasons
