Looks like I'm going to have to pick up Cosmic Wheel of Sisterhood, since Toem and Strange Horticulture were both absolutely in my top faves last year.
I’ve only just started playing switch games but (and yes I’m aware it came out 2022 but again, new to Switch) Bear and Breakfast absolutely knocked my socks off. The visuals are so appealing, the music is lovely, the story is at your own pace and honestly the side stories are just so engaging that sometimes I forget to book in guests in order to make French onion soup for a mouse instead. I adore Hank and Barbara especially but it’s just so lovely. I was so charmed by it, I just had to email them to tell them how much I loved their game and they were also so sweet and excited someone chose their game as a Christmas gift. 1000/10 would recommend it over Animal Crossing.
@@Anna-dd4rh I honestly haven’t found any problems with it bug wise. It pauses for a few seconds when it’s a new day and people are leaving/ arriving to your hotels but it’s not enough to be that noticeable/ annoying. Other than that it’s been running super smoothly.
Wylde Flowers was so beautiful. I look forward to any and all dlc or updates they do because it just made me so happy. Gonna check out some others from your list.
Completely agree with your number one, it has totally captivated me. I'm usually not the type to play games multiple times, but I'm about to start my third playthrough for this one. The way decisions you make early on then influence all the available decisions towards the end is just, chef's kiss
Seeing Eastward here makes me SO happy. It feels so underrated and it's wonderful to see more people discovering it. The rest of your list is excellent as well. So many incredible games here.
@@Eeownai didn't think the combat was hard at all, but that might he because I also play game like Hallow Knight, Metriod, and Blasphemous which have much harder battles. I could see me thinking the battles were hard several yrs ago before playing harder games
Narrative Visual Novels are so underrated and glad to see two of them being in your top favorites. I always find myself replaying them to make different decisions, date different characters, or just see what chaos I can cause. Definitely gotta check out Cosmic Wheel of Sisterhood soon myself
Yeah Faefarm is so delightful to play, and it’s something that I can pick up whenever and play when I’m watching something else, or when I’m low spoons. It’s so charming and just fun to play!
The cosmic wheel sisterhood such a beautiful game. I used to play in bed before going to sleep and it became so routine that it made me very sad when I finished it but it really is a comforting game. ❤
I just finished the cosmic wheel sisterhood like yesterday and I am in love with it. It was so good! I laughed, I cried, I thought about the story non stop afterwards. I can't wait to play it again. Also Wylde flower is wonderful. I started playing it because of your videos talking about it and it happened to be a game I started to play as I was about to leave a big city to live on a smaller island.... I mean...
This is my first time seeing any of your content but this is by far the best list I've seen. It's very diverse and the games are described so well. I will definitely check out your other videos :3
I can't stop playing Fashion Dreamer, it's everything I loved about covet fashion (without the micro transactions) and I love that you can create your own items. I've been playing non-stop since school let out 😅
I just entered the cozy game genre in mid-2023, what I’m playing are Suika, Rune Factory4, Fae Farm and Dave the Diver, I simply love them. Just started Dorfromantik as per your recommendation and am happy with it. Narrative game is both my type at the moment.
So glad to see Rakuen get a shout out! I didn't want that game to end, and I had the deluxe edition with the bonus game that I also played. I picked up some older games for my most played in 2023 like Signs of the Sojourner and the Powerwashing Simulator. I did enjoy Storyteller as well although I haven't done much with the update. I have been back into Ooblets with their update, trying to see how many followbabies can get their licenses LOL I almost forgot about Wytchwood! that was early in the year for me but also an older game probably.
Thank god for you. I broke my leg. And I am down in bed for 6 weeks. I replayed stardew valley and graveyard keeper and got bored. So I looked up cozy switch games and found your channel. Definitely going to watch some vids and get some new games! Thank you 🙏
Proud of you and everything you have accomplished and thanks for recommending some of my most favorite games I’ve ever played like Fire Emblem Three Houses and Xenoblade Chronicles 3 really opened my eyes to a genre of games I had no idea I liked so yeah thanks for being the best ❤
3. Suika Game It's one of the only puzzle games that I suck at and yet I still play it! When the watermelon showed up I literally squealed "Suika!* The music is also super duper catchy. I start singing along sometimes. 2. Cult of the Lamb I know some people would be confused by this pick, but I do find this game cozy somehow. Especially when Start a Cult or Praise the Lamb plays at the base. On the Switch, there is still some hiccups, but for me, it didn't deter from the gameplay experience! 1. Cosmic Wheel Sisterhood I didn't expect to fall in love with this as much as I did! The story is gripping and I cracked a smile a lot! Like you, I didn't know where the story was going at times. I'm sure my reaction to a particular event was priceless! Making my own tarot cards is very fun, while running into a particular card on pure accident surprised the heck out of me! The characters also really make the story for me too! Choosing a favorite character is hard and that is rare for me! So like you, it's a game I can highly recommend!
My fav Cozy game I played on the Switch this year didn't come up in 2023, it came out a few years ago. It's called Submerged and it's an indie platformer. I heard about it on someone else's channel (I think it was the Cozy Introvert), and she mentioned how it was on sale at the time and I only paid like $3 for it and the game was amazing gameplay wise, I didn't need a guide until I needed help getting 100% and with hardly any dialogue it relied heavily on visual story telling. Story is very deep since it's set in a post-apocalyptical world. But the gameplay is so chill, there's no real danger and it was fun collecting everything. I did recently get Wylde Flowers because of your suggesting it, and I think it's good, but I also got Sun Haven on Steam at the same time and that's got my attention more, I'm obsessed. I don't know what it is, but I am not loving it as much as I want to. It's biggest strength for me is the main story, which definitely has me engaged. As a farming sim, it's fine, but I've enjoyed others more. The magic elements are fun, but I feel they're not integrated into the story as much, they're just another means of 'getting things done'. Chars are amazing, but I am having a hard time seeing any of the LIs hooking up with Tara. Closest ones I am seeing hooking up with her are Kim and maybe Westley. But I am still early in the game, so maybe that'll change, hopefully. Since Tara is a fully fleshed out character, I don't see her as an avatar I can insert my own personality into, so when it comes to romance, I am basing it on who she has the best 'romantic' chemistry with. It is a great game and I am glad I got it when it was on sale because I don't know if the game is worth the full price if I am being honest. Love this list anyway. As far as this year goes, the only game so far that is 100% on my wish list the new Peach game that's coming out. But with the possibility of the next major Nintendo console being announced, I may want to save up for that instead. Let's hope it has backward capability.
I haven't even played Cosmic yet but just from that clip of the Bartender Tarot card, I JUST realized that it's a cookie! That's the main character, Donovan, of Red Strings Club WHICH MAKES SO MUCH SENSE if anyone has played it! Eeowna needs to play it!
I never bought wylde flowers cuz I don't like the artstyle of it but if it has 50+ hours and a heckin good story I might buy it soon! I have heard a lot about it and maybe I just need to take the leap and forget about the negative opinion I have of the artstyle... Edit: i love voice acting in games a lot so that's also a reason I might try
I felt the same towards the art style but I just gave it a try and bought it discounted. I was so hooked by the story and the characters immediately! I was a bit disappointed by the farming, so it's definitely more life sim than anything else. After a while you get used to the artstyle :) Im not bothered by it anymore

Best cozy game of the year but 7th (ish) best game of the year overall - it’s hard putting indies against AAA titles like breath of the wild
@@Eeowna Ah I missed that distinction, that makes total sense! Thanks for the reply, I love your channel 😍
I got my mom addicted to Suika 😂
I wanna play that water melon game
Love this video ❤❤❤ what was the fruit game called ?🙈
Suika
Suika
You should play lego worlds ❤❤❤
On 3rd place, you didn’t put the name of the game, unfortunately, and I cannot understand if you’re saying “Wildflowers” or “Worldflowers” due to the accent. Can anyone tell me in the comments which game this is?
Wylde flowers :)
@@Eeowna you’re the bestest! Thank you so much!! I sincerely apologize if my comment sounded rude, not at all my intention because I adore you and your channel!
Looking forward to this one. 🤗
Wait what is the names of the rotating fruit game??😂
Im sorry but what was the name of the second honourable bc with the cc they don’t pick up on the spelling and English is not my first language and you never showed how to spell the title of the game. The fairytale/hospital game ❤
Hey, I'm too lazy to read every single line, so can you recommend me some games with voice acting on switch.
Check out JennyLeClue, voice acting is great imo + great story.
What was 7th place
Early gang!!!🎉
Fae farm is sooo overpriced for what it is and yet more money for the dlc. So many cheaper, better games
yeah I talked about that a lot on my raking vids :)
Stardew Valley anyone??????
Yippie
First!...?
FIRST!
EARLY!!!!!
Dark Souls is a cozy game if you just sit next to the bonfire.
Fortnite is trash and i cannot take that recommendation seriously 😂
It’s not anything like the base game :) I had a blast playing it with friends as have a lot of people
Why do you always pick indie type games with horrible graphics? It’s annoying
There’s many a pretty looking game that has no substance
