I'm not sure how you grow your tomatoes (single, double, multi stem) but I've used these tripods before and laid a piece of bamboo across the top of 2 of them (kind of like a sawhorse with a piece of plywood on top for a table) and lash that down.
My trellis are about 8' high so having the horizontal bar lets me tie the vines vertically and it helps get more air flow by tying the vines so high and away from each other. It saved me a bit of time anyway not having to make a trellis for each individual plant, so figured I'd share! Nice video
