Your very smart and your English is good enough a smart person will take time to Listen and not Judge you Thank You for Sharing your knowledge and experience with us
Thank you my friend, people like you motivating me a lot..
Very good video, many useful informations. Don't worry about your english, it's ok.
Wow, that's really great and perfect explanation.
An idea - Connect the variable voltage DC output from the 3 phase rectifier to 100v capacitors for smoothing and then to a DC-DC convertor to give regulated 12v DC output for the rotor input.
It's possible to start it as a universal motor after make him single phase with capacitor ??? And you thenk that he will work perfectly without hall sensor ?
That's a perfect idea cos after the rectifier, one will still have pulses that needs to be smooth out, never thought of using a capacitor
@@azertaieb442 no you're getting it twisted, he's talking about the DC that goes into the rotor and not the 3phase AC that goes to the stator
I have tried this method before the problem that I face the battery runs out quickly because it is used for two uses of electric current, if you increase the battery capacity it will be a problem to heat up quickly. I have tried using 2 batteries for the 12v coil and 60v controller, to charging I use 1 60v charge with 2 cables 1 to the 60v controller battery and 1 to 12v with a step down regulator. the problem is finished I have been using this method for 1 year there is no problem .... greetings from Indonesia 👍
Very interesting your test. I ask you a question, why you don´t regulate rectificated signal, because rotor has a limit of voltage, and you put more than normal voltage. Best regards from Argentina
Yes, he's going to burn the coil up.
Your English is fine mate.
Thank you man...
Good one, thank you. I'm just working whit my own alternator motor :)
Use 3tag regulator for rotor supply
A similar generator pushes my car with a driver and a passenger. I like it. I also like to make interesting projects, one of which I do on my UA-cam channel.
Hello ...did a tension regulator rectifier for a motocycle can be do this job perfectly ...? Thank you
Very good my friend !
But ,how many the calculator ?
Which is more efficient? Self excitation or permanent magnet
Hello This is Hamid from Pakistan....
Your videos compel me to subscribe....
Your english is good, mean understandable.......
Good video,,,,,, find way out to convert 48 volts to 12 volts, I think DC to DC buck converter will be a good option ...
What do you think?
Hello friend.. thank you! I try it already with DC to DC converter, but for some reason the capacitors are heating, I think I must play with high voltage DC to DC converters with high voltage capacitors..
Thank you bro .Its a nice video i never see that. But thell me what alternator you use 12V 60amps or...Thanks
Thank you man... yes it is 60A if i remember good... best option for blds controller is 12V, you can straight connect it on alternator...
Very nice video
Problem solve good idea but rotar voltage is sufficient 12 v dc use buck converter.
Using this logic, would you be able to run a brushed dc motor with a brushless controller of you use a full wave 3 phase rectifier between them?
He just did that, the alternators rotor uses brush and slip rings hence the need for a rectifier to convert the ac to DC. If you don't want the brush and slip rings them you find a way of putting permanent magnet on the rotor

Ola!! Tive um pensamento bem próximo a esse, porem vc usa paralelo e eu projetei em série. Mas eh top seu raciocínio!!
I converted my 24v alternator to a dc motor to run another alternator which I’m using to charge my battery bank but The battery I’m using on the charge controller drains quickly. Any suggestions ? I would love even a paid consultation. Please contact me. I really want a solution
Have you tried using a flywheel system instead of direct coupling?
Awsome, do you have another video about this?
U can use 60v to 12v DC converter for field coil voltage.
Micky I already test this step down converter, for some reason capacitor of board explode.. i will experiment more for this project, i need time because its new project..
Very nice bro!!!
Thanks man ;)
Awsome!
Can you share a link to the rectifyer?
Looking forward to see what you cerate with this!
Hello friend here is the link..

Makes no sense to get field current from the 3 phase motor power because it varies and rises to high. It would be simpler to either run a DC-DC 12V from the 36v main battery. Also could use a PWM controller from 36v battery dialed down to 12v..
With dc-dc controller you forget about consumption, if you forget turn off your bike or you waiting on lights, your generator field will drain your battery without use the bike. PWM controller is good option but is more extensive option from one rectifier..
Where to buy BLDC and controller
Doesn't this setup need a Hall sensor? I bought a BLDC controller to install on the alternator, but I don't know if it works without a hall sensor...
To work alternator without hall sensors you need BLDC controller which can work without hall sensors (Hall less) controller.
Nice video thanks for sharing
is the bldc controller home made or from ebay?
Its DIY BLDC controller custom made...
@@EVCustoms You share the files schematic etc?
@@EVCustoms please can you help me out with the schematics of the bldc controller?
How much BLDC and controller
Hallo again and good after nune i sou sorry to disturb you ,i never asked but please thell me what controler you use 3 phase or BLDC controler.Yes i hure that when video start ...but i have to be sure.Thank you verry mach.
i use 360watt controller, but is too small for this project, i connect it only for test, but the best option is 12volt 900watt blcd controller without hall's from aliexpres..
@@EVCustoms tanks for your answer your soul caind. Gud luck
Do you have a recommendation and where to buy a cheap bldc controller?
Any controller witch can work hallses motor... preferably bigger controllers up to 1000-1500watts
Hi!! Delta or star??
On STAR my friend..
Zoom in for clear view closer
It draws as low as 4amps of current
4amps at 12 volts will certainly drain your battery in no distant time
I use converter from 48V to 12V. Problem solved.
@ahmejatt sipra use buck converter
Is it a bicycle gear attached to the alternator?
Yes my friend..
@@EVCustoms nice idea, applied to any vehicle? I wonder how it performs.
@@cyclonemind7585 no yet...
DLDC ?)))
Entirely too many volts for the rotor. You can also get more RPMs with just a few volts to the coil. But less torque
