George Velazquez originally that was the ending, but as tommytom said, they added a new ending and updated the old one. If you get the old ending with Timmy having the spasm, there’s a new scene where the tv studio is evacuated and the dad (you) comforts Timmy causing the spasm to end. Then after the credits the game cuts to Timmy all grown up ready to find the source of the power used to create the artifacts in the game, and end it all, while also still having to fight the mutation from the artifacts inside himself.

The Island you play on in The Forest is Site 1 and you see grown up Timmy has a map and a bunch of info about Site 2 in his apartment in the last cutscene. What if the name is literal and it is a swat team made up of Timmys from 4 different sites, Sons of the Forest in a way, and you go deal with whatever Sahara is up to like 20 years later
I do not know where you are getting the 4 sites but that is the logical next step. I always thought that there is no NPC swat team and that is is just your friends playing co-op.

Unless Eric(the dad) told timmy what happened which I'm guessing he didn't, timmy wouldn't know this as 1. he was unconscious or what ever when Eric chose which ever ending meaning he wouldn't know and 2. Eric must have been either too traumatised and guilty to even mention it to timmy.
Makes more sense if it was a sequel considering at the end of the credits in the first. They left off with a cliff hanger. The son being grown up and dealing with the mutations. That's why he has a tattoo saying "Fight Demons" implying his issue. It would be interesting on what abilities he has. Like does this mean he can communicate and command other mutants? Who knows.

Just played it with my friends 2 weeks ago. Completed the game in 10 hours or so. How can you play countless hours on this? Onxe you find everything what's the point? The base building was so limited and fairly not important to complete the game
@@MrJabbaStyle Unless you were googling, going into the game blind while trying to find all the secret cave that contains weapon/blueprints, collecting all clues to try to piece together everything, building a fortress cause why the hell not. It really does take more than 10+ hours unless you were rushing the game.

*SPOILERS* Humans were the ones that controlled the cannon artifact, it wasn't automatically shooting down planes. The motivation for both instances where it was used was to get another child and use them for waking up the users own child with the first artifact that was found on the island.
LinusSexTips SPOILERS BELOW the cannibals used the cannon to shoot down your plane to get Timmy and revive their little girl, but in turn you can choose to shoot down a different plane and revive Timmy.
Wow cant wait to play this in alpha for 3 years, then when it actually releases I dont want to play it anymore because I've beaten it every way imaginable. Also cant wait to hear my character scream in agony every few seconds if he's cold.

Even though the game was in Early Access, the developers have very tight, scheduled release. They really mean it to treat Early Access as Alpha testing.

Makes more sense if it was a sequel considering at the end of the credits in the first. They left off with a cliff hanger. The son being grown up and dealing with the mutations. That's why he has a tattoo saying "Fight Demons" implying his issue. It would be interesting on what abilities he has. Like does this mean he can communicate and command other mutants? Who knows.

Legit one of my most favorite games I can’t even describe the countless hours my friends and I had playing The Forest! So excited hopefully it has the same magic as the first
Just played it with my friends 2 weeks ago. Completed the game in 10 hours or so. How can you play countless hours on this? Onxe you find everything what's the point? The base building was so limited and fairly not important to complete the game
@@MrJabbaStyle Unless you were googling, going into the game blind while trying to find all the secret cave that contains weapon/blueprints, collecting all clues to try to piece together everything, building a fortress cause why the hell not. It really does take more than 10+ hours unless you were rushing the game.
@@haziqkhalid3942 we didn't rush it but 4 people working together made the game too short. Also we felt it should have been called the Cave by the amount of time passed in them. Not a bad game but highly predictable and short.

You’d think that the old main character would warn people of the giant sky cannon that shoots down flying vehicles that come near but apparently not
THE FBI the cannon didnt shoot down the heli , a huge mutant threw a cannibal at it
considering this is the second site, as lauded to in the end of the first game, this may not have giant emp cannon.
Also, you’d think the FBI would stop letting aircrafts in and around these areas

Humans were the ones that controlled the cannon artifact, it wasn't automatically shooting down planes. The motivation for both instances where it was used was to get another child and use them for waking up the users own child with the first artifact that was found on the island.

the cannibals used the cannon to shoot down your plane to get Timmy and revive their little girl, but in turn you can choose to shoot down a different plane and revive Timmy.

Wow cant wait to play this in alpha for 3 years, then when it actually releases I dont want to play it anymore because I've beaten it every way imaginable. Also cant wait to hear my character scream in agony every few seconds if he's cold.

Even though the game was in Early Access, the developers have very tight, scheduled release.
