Oh Corpsetaker is wild. I kind of wonder if modded Inscryption will go the trajectory of 'nerf player cards so that it's a fight for survival instead of an I win button' or the trajectory of 'if the player's deck is crazy, just make the fights even crazier'
I'd prefer things get crazier, like having to deal more HP in order to win, decks using all of the resource types, and mixing and matching sigils from the different acts.
I really like the Alpha Elk, I think have a strong card that devolves into something weaker does show alot of potential. also the mini moon is a great card and is probably the only thing that deadly is good on as it seems more so an anti-unit rather then a finisher (Maybe it the scales reached 10 rather then 5 this would be a more viable way to use it). I'm pretty sure the mites are a joke card but you could put undying on it to make it a geck with extra steps

In a nutshell, mites can't work as a side deck because you would need to kill a card to play any other card, but you can't play cards in the first place. Skeletons work because they are free.

(Though there's plans to rebrand energy to be more thematic.) Plus there is a mox mod that changes them to flowers for act one, though I've played with its bonus cards I've not experienced the mox cards first hand. Totem at start mod has shown that there are a solid few act three sigils that crash the game but a lots of sigils do work as intended outside of their origin acts.
Jesus the real moon is just complete and utter trash, especially as he is the "endboss". I knew he was terribly bad but this way he is much much worse than I thought.

Poisen = instant kill Stink sigil (no idea what's its real name) = 0 dmg A big deck = terrible stats Dmg against you can be blocked by one unit => 1 somewhat strong unit can take him out and even if you don't have that strong unit in your hand right now, the damage can easily be blocked by a squirrel
I really like the alpha elk as a card "devolving!" Makes for a neat rushdown card. Also love putting in sigils from future acts so you can get the more complicated strategies in much better atmosphere. Kudos also for making Leshy comment on the new cards!

I had an idea for a challenge: The Pacifist Challenge (aka the Kingfisher challenge): You have to try to win a run without killing creatures or letting your creatures die. You get three strikes on each side, i.e., you may kill upto 2 creatures and are allowed to let upto 2 creatures die. Third strike = Loss Sacrificing a squirrel doesn't count as letting a creature die, but sacrificing any other creature is counted as letting your creature die. Exceptions: A creature that comes back to your hand after dying/sacrificing is not considered dead. A creature with an infinite sacrifice sigil can only be considered dead when it is killed by an enemy. After every boss fight, your 3 strikes are replenished for each side. Letting a creature get hooked/hooking a creature is not considered a strike. Applies only to creatures that can be sacrificed (Gold nuggets/trees/pelts/etc are not considered as deaths)
Good points. The moon shouldn't be considered to be a creature I think. And moles could be considered to be part of the challenge, or could be, when the enemy plays it, considered to be an exception, depending on how difficult the challenge would be.
For a really fun run, sacrifice an amoeba sigil to an undying creature. Most fun sigil combo in the game IMO You had the chance with the corpse walker and the cockroach
really awesome to see people making mods for this game! if there was ever a workshop update so setting these up would be easier the game could have such a huge life
There’s already some external 3rd party mod managers with inbuilt support for the game. I recommend overwolf/Thunderwolf(forgot which name was correct)

At 58:20 there is softlock potential. If none of the stumps die (whilst your side of the board is full) the board would be unrecoverable as he can't kill any of your gold cause the stumps are in the way and you can't play any card cause gold can't be sacrificed or destroyed by you

As a new challenge, I would like to see you push the starvation mechanic. I know that if you run out of cards the opponent gets new creatures, each stronger by +1/+1 I think for 4 turns, and then I think their cards get flying, but what if you can persist and keep blocking them?

No one I've seen has explained it, but in case anyone doesn't get it, the mini moon stopped the music because the game must have thought that the mini moon *was* the moon, and when you kill the moon, the music cuts as Leshy waits for the kill.
In science there’s a distinction between major moons (which have enough gravity to keep a spherical shape while in orbit) and minor moons (which don’t), since earth’s luna is a major, maybe the mini moon could be called a minor moon instead?

On the last turn you could have sacrificed the moon to play a 1 cost, then sacrificed your whole board to play the moon again. This mod is great, I love seeing new cards in action
A challenge I'd love to see is trying to get as many sigils as possible onto a single card. As far as I know sacrificing a card that start with two sigils like the pronghorn or moleman with transfer both sigils to the new card. Also when you combine cards with extra sigils at the mycologist, the new card keeps all the sigils from both. I wonder if there's a hard cap on how many can be combined.
The moon strike sigil only dose damage if the board is clear it dose it in the bossfight too that's why the moon can pull squirls into orbit so it can't be infinitely blocked

Just a thought... what if you added the Triple Attack sigil onto the Mini Moon? 🤔 The moon attacks all lanes while only attacking directly once, whereas the multi-attack sigils attack directly multiple times. How about combining them for potentially *ten* direct attacks?
I think the corpsewalker (necromancer) would make a great card to buff up ouroboros. It would gain 2/2 everytime it would be sacrificed, just like in act 2

I tend to use the ant sigil squirrel, as it's a way to just be able to spam units.

On the last turn you could have sacrificed the moon to play a 1 cost, then sacrificed your whole board to play the moon again. This mod is great, I love seeing new cards in action
One of my new fav combos is just putting field mice/undying sigil on a skink. You end up with infinite tails.
