Great video. I bought this tool and tested it on copper first. It does make even spacing a breeze. The only thing not addressed by this tool is how the bezel ends up when it's soldered; that is, how the spacing between the notches ends up where the ends meet. Still an issue that can only be resolved by eyeballing and experience....not terribly easy.

You can always undersize and then stretch to fit. I do that with any patterend bezel.

Melissa, I have watched other videos on how to use this tool, and this is by far the clearest and easiest to understand! Thank you !

Anna Br thank you. I am really happy with how the pendant turned out. I am excited to see how the pendant from the video turns out too. Thanks for the feedback.

Love this video and that finished pendant your video is a very well produced teaching stone for my soldering learning..everyone teaches differently..I love using a little bit of everyone's techniques since I'm just beginning soldering..but I think I will practice with copper first. I love that thick bezel and will be ordering that tool and rolling mill next

I am always the first person to tell you to take as many classes as possible from other teachers. There are so many great things to learn from everyone. I think starting with copper is a great idea. You will love this tool. Let me know if you need help with the mill. I would be happy to order one in for you.

Oh man....you just ended this just as I was getting sooo into it, LOL. But anywho, to I have a question. You said that often times when the bezel is too high, you raise up the stone....how do you do this and what do you use? By the way, I’m super excited watching this video and can’t wait for next weeks. I’ve wanted to buy these tools. I had found out about Jim’s super cool tools and seen his videos but I am really happy to see you, a mentor actually demo it and show completely how to use it. So as always, thanks so much for doing this video!

Bobbi Benton-Stewart sorry, I got a call to go pick up a sick kid from school. Lol. I typically use a wire to lift my stones. But I promise I will show it in the next video.

Melissa Muir Awww, I’m so sorry to hear that. That’s never good. I was just kidding, trying to let you know that I loved this video a lot. And I hope your sick child is ok. Have a great week and happy Monday?!? 👩🏼‍🎨🌵😎🔨

Bobbi Benton-Stewart she is great now. There was some sort of bug going around and of course it couldn’t come after I was done filming. Lol. Now I have to get down there and finish the video. It was a busy week.

Hi, have you had the opportunity to use the other system called the bezelease? I'm wondering which one is more user-friendly?

How thick is the sterling silver? Where do you buy your silver? Thank you

The bezel is 18 gauge. I buy silver from the lowest price dealer at the time I am purchasing. I shop around, Thunderbird supply, Rio, Monsterslayer, Stuller, etc.
