My wife will be moving to the U.S.A soon, and she's super into the outdoors and really wants to see this huge country. A trailer like this looks perfect for a newly-married couple who wants to see the country at a reasonable cost from a trailer I can pull behind my F-150. Thanks for the video!
I said it before, and I'll say it again, those suspended closets above either side of the bed on this unit are a huge deal for me! You get soo much extra room at the head of the bed. Not banging your head or arms against a closet wall in the middle of the night! Plus a place for your bottle water, phone, keys, tv remote..etc.. That and the TV placement right in front of the seating in the living area. I like it! Half ton towable is a plus!
There are people living in "tiny homes" that cost 3 times as much as this but don't really offer as much space or amenities. This is the sort of thing those people should be getting instead, since it's cheaper and more convenient.
tiny homes usually offer far better build quality and superior materials and for price i can build something far superior to this trailer. I wouldn't want to live in this thing up north here with temps -20/-50.
dave wenzel I agree, plus they’re better protection when severe weather strikes. That’s not to disdain travel trailers, as I do consider them a viable option, but there is value in the higher price of a true tiny house.
If it was something I was gonna live in, I'd want some kind of laundry solution. Fortunately, this thing has enough space for a small washer and and you can just put up a clothes line to dry.
This is as close to ideal for me, single senior. The very best is there is NO dinette. Just trying to figure out where another small wardrobe could be added.
Classic Couples Camper Floorplan. Many/most mftrs offer an example of this floorplan, but the Cougar 22RBS is probably the best of the bunch. One of my favorite trailers on the market.
Perfect couples trailer that could accommodate 1-2 kids too. Love that it has a larger fridge. My biggest pet peeve about trailers is the small fridge. If you plan to go camping for more than a few days ( my family's into 1-2 week camping) then those small fridge are almost worthless. And love the counter space in the kitchen. It has more then some home kitchens.😍👍😍👍😍👍😍
This has to be one of the best "small" travel trailers I've seen so far! Liked it so much I saved it to check it out again in the future. May end up buying this exact unit one day....just because of this video. Well done review!
Wow, this looks like a really functional model, and a great sale price to boot! Not sure how good the quality of Open Range RVs is, but this seems like something that would be perfect for singles, or couples who'd prefer to economize.
The main thing I care about is the water tank and holding tank sizes and I rarely hear you give that info. That would be really nice to add. Thanks for all the videos.
LOVE a dual axle trailer. So much more stable on the road. Yeah, its more difficult to turn tightly, but considering that we usually replace tires before they’re worn, ill take the extra scrub.
Definitely like. I'm looking at the Jayco 174bh. Love the stove, love the full RV fridge/freezer. 2 observations: 1. Storage a bit light 2. Where are elec outlets for kitchen counter? Other than that, definite contender!
All in all I like it! Would like to see a dual recliners and skip the sleeper. Azdel and no Luan would be nice but after seeing the factory build out I'd be ok with their construction; would like to see details of wall to ceiling construction and, know that they weather chamber tested their work. Really appreciate your reviews!
This would be a perfect couple's weekend getaway camper, or a single parent with a couple kids. The parent could sleep on the sofa bed, while the kids are tucked away in bed behind the privacy curtain. Mom or Dad, as the case may be, could then stay up enjoying a few adult beverages with friends around the campfire.
I full time in the 2009 version of this unit. I'm so ready to upgrade. The space does not feel larger. I even took out the queen bed and installed a sideways 3/4 mattress and I still have cabin fever.
One video critique, the volume of the outro music overpowers your voice at some points and makes the narrative difficult to understand. Overall though, fine work. Thanks.
Nice trailer, color tones are pretty nice. Where they have you mount the TV would eat up that counter-top space though. Not much storage space inside either. Still pretty good for a small trailer.
Hey just curious if you could do some videos on new accessories like aftermarket shower heads etc. And clothes washer and dryer. Just looking for different opinions on side by side or stackable or combo
I really like so many travel trailers, BUT wish they were offered with a twin beds. Of all the travel trailers I have seen my short list of favorites are: Airstream Flying Cloud 25RBTwin & BigFoot 25B25RT. It's been rumored that Lance may have a 1770 Twin, but I think Covid nix that idea.
This looks like a great unit, wonder what it would take to go solar with it with batteries and all the solar panels and the converter ‘s… Would that be a major overhaul?
I'd have to buy a pickup but that's a great optioned and sized trailer, really wouldn't need or want anything longer myself. I like it. Price seems right too. The tandem axle is a huge plus the trailer will ride better that way too.
In the market for a small travel trailer to tow with my gladiator, I’d like to stay with a dual axle trailer...been eyeing the Winnebago micro Minnie 2106DS, also exploring options like rockwood mini lite...what is your opinion? Any other trailers I should possibly look into ?
you dont need a max tow package to tow a twenty foot rv ..regular tow package will work , i use a 2019 f150 with a 2.7 ecoboost v6 and a 3;55 axle ...no problems .
Don’t know how else to ask you a question, could not find and email or something. Can you do a video on a 23 foot Hybrid? Brand does not matter. One with three fold out beds or close. Been doing some research and looks like this style RV will be best for me with a half ton truck and still get a lot of room. Thanks for your time and great channel.
Q. I’ve owned a wavy/corrugated side unit many years ago. You couldn’t drive it in the rain, the corner seals leaked inside the unit like crazy, bed soaked, floor, walks, everything wet after driving in the rain. Have they fixed this issue?
Really nice. I was just looking at a bigger upgrade 20’ to 25’ but a lot of the floor plans. 1.The door you walk right in what’s to the right THE BED. 2. WOW the over sized appliances. NICE the ones I been seeing 2 burner top only and a compact freezer fridge. 3. Ok to go cheap on the tires and rims but not the suspension. If I was buying where is this. Can you do better then the red tag price. And you pointed it out they put The cheapest suspension on this. Do you know if they make this size of trailers with on bored generators. They probably do but I just haven’t came across any yet. Be nice to find one with this floorplan and a onboard generator. And be nice to wire for solar powered end to end connections just through the roof run them down to a Storage hole. Yeah a few bucks more who wants to put that into suspension when you can put it in to a simple 12 V solar powered charging system.
Bigger on the inside than on the outside? Neat trick. Sure can't store these things outside, least in the north, mildew over the winter and then loaded with mice and rats. Could us gravity for draining the plumbing, need some kind of air hose to blow out the lines.
Actually I'd like the RV industry to make a luxury small travel trailer using this layout. Like you said, not everybody wants a huge camper, but I do like luxury. Just don't say Airstream! They are a rip off.
The Cougar is a very viable option but at $29k, I like the $18k price as I’d be redoing the walls, suspension, tires and full time solar on both units.
I'm trying to hit a million subs in the next 30 days. Please subscribe :)
JK........but seriously..
Been watching for a while and your videos always pop up on my recommended list. I didn't even notice I wasn't subbed. Woops. Subbed now!
Big Truck Big RV you’ll have to change the channel name to BTBRVCorona first. Wish you all the best.
I tried anyway
OK. I’ll subscribe even though this motorhome didn’t have a TV
Spacious, I LOVE IT!!
I really like how this one is laid out. Would much rather have a sofa than a dinette any day.
That is what I was thinking. This looks more functional and streamlined.
My wife will be moving to the U.S.A soon, and she's super into the outdoors and really wants to see this huge country. A trailer like this looks perfect for a newly-married couple who wants to see the country at a reasonable cost from a trailer I can pull behind my F-150. Thanks for the video!

Yes, a couple extra thousand to park it, secure it, add a porch and live in it for many years.
I need this
I would agree
Absolutely one of the best clever use of space in a trailer that size, that I have ever seen. The price is phenomenal.
Honestly, I may have overlooked the video because it looked tiny but I saw the tandem axles in the thumbnail and I'm glad I clicked!

@@lifesabeach5405 Isn't there units that are good for the colder climates?
Not NEARLY as well built.
Plus tiny homes are customized
dave wenzel I agree, plus they’re better protection when severe weather strikes. That’s not to disdain travel trailers, as I do consider them a viable option, but there is value in the higher price of a true tiny house.
Our RV is similar to this one. My husband and I love it ! It’s cozy yet spacious and a little home away from home .
The interior layout, along with the dual axles, sold me. And then, the price. Yep, showing this one to the wife.
Great tour, but you missed one of the best things inside. The beautiful double sink. You don’t see that in hardly any RV’s. I enjoyed the rest.
Nice starter trailer for first time RV’ers, and 1/2 ton truck even makes it worth it.
The floorplan is excellent and I like your idea of taking some of the money saved and putting it into some up grades.
Nice compact trailer. Has everything you need and nothing you don't.
If it was something I was gonna live in, I'd want some kind of laundry solution. Fortunately, this thing has enough space for a small washer and and you can just put up a clothes line to dry.

This is the exact floor plan my wife and I are looking for.
I noticed that paw by the door handle outside. Potential hook point for a dog leash? If it is that’s really thinking outside the box!
Definitely like. I'm looking at the Jayco 174bh. Love the stove, love the full RV fridge/freezer. 2 observations:

I love the dual axle because if you ever have blowout you still got the other axle keeping the trailer safe
Great channel! This is within my budget and a few upgrades were on the road.

Very nice floor plan. I shared it with my daughter who is looking at trailers
I full time in the 2009 version of this unit. I'm so ready to upgrade. The space does not feel larger. I even took out the queen bed and installed a sideways 3/4 mattress and I still have cabin fever.
Who else knows nothing about trailers but still watches these because they also watch tiny house and van life videos?
This is a very nice layout, I like it a lot.
First time I saw mini vanity van so spacious even a bachelor can stay his life here
I really like that they are upfront with how much it costs. Nice layout.
For the price, very nice unit for a single person to use as a vacay home. Spacious and functional floor plan! 👍
In LA this is the best “ permanent home” rather pay 17k than 650k
Was the mattress a “regular” queen or a “short” queen? Really cool trailer!
That little trailer has a lot going for it. I almost think it has more workable space than my slx 8 Jayco.
Was not expecting a bathroom that big
Great review on a trailer that I thought was too small for us - but I love the layout- can save about 30,000 compared to an airstream :)
Apples and oranges, or were you trying to be funny?
Always wondered about black tank pipes behind rear tires, good or bad. Very nice trailer, thanks for video.
i wanna see some without slides man
That open feeling is great!
One video critique, the volume of the outro music overpowers your voice at some points and makes the narrative difficult to understand. Overall though, fine work. Thanks.
I can appreciate upgrading wheels and tires. More and likely is leaf spring suspension, so how would you address that? Torsion axels?
Nice trailer. Please do reviews of truck campers from time to time. That may go a long way to getting your million subs. Good luck.
Nice trailer, color tones are pretty nice. Where they have you mount the TV would eat up that counter-top space though. Not much storage space inside either. Still pretty good for a small trailer.
I truly do not understand why manufacturers don’t just equip all trailers with LED lights.
Hey just curious if you could do some videos on new accessories like aftermarket shower heads etc. And clothes washer and dryer. Just looking for different opinions on side by side or stackable or combo

Like the small slide. Some of the other models mentioned in the comments have large slides.
TV mount is in a place that limits precious counter space. Real coloset space is a must for future designs.
1/2 ton lol. this is for a TACOMA/ GLADIATOR in my opinion. yes I reviewed the numbers.
Pssh. I could haul this with my Chevy Traverse easy with a 5800 lbs tow capacity. I hear where you are coming from.
Can you tow this with a F150 truck?
I'd feel comfortable towing this with my Frontier, max towing capacity 7000 lbs. Probably tow with empty tanks, plan on filling up when I get there.

I'm liking what open range is doing. Great video ✌
This looks like a great unit, wonder what it would take to go solar with it with batteries and all the solar panels and the converter ‘s… Would that be a major overhaul?
When you give the GVWR, please include the hitch weight. Thanks!
King bed a must .
He called the furnace thermostat an air conditioning thermostat. AMATEUR
what about a ladder in back and solar on roof? any batteries?
I like the bed that has a walk way on both sides. If only if you could have a tempurpedic mattress on the bed.
What is the advantage of aluminum wheels over the stock steel wheels? Isn't that just looks?
Very nice rv. Love the layout. Thanks
What kind of extra safety features would be needed on a half ton to pull this?
Ditch the slide and I like it!
Love that rig and the bed
Beautiful thank for showing
I'd have to buy a pickup but that's a great optioned and sized trailer, really wouldn't need or want anything longer myself. I like it. Price seems right too. The tandem axle is a huge plus the trailer will ride better that way too.
Nice little setup, question though. Does anyone make a small(ish) trailer that has a tall interior height(7')?
This is perfect for me to live in for the rest of my life😩
Is there storage under the bed also?
Is it possible to put in a convection instead of just microwave?
That is good for two people. Lot of room.
Does it have azdel, and is there a solar power ability?

I'm interested in that camper behind this one
LOL right
I looked at one of these and ended up with a Jayco 195RB Baja instead. Should have got this one. Double the cargo capacity.
How about a true cold weather rv
I definitely wouldn't want to live in this up north with winter temps -20/-50.
Corpus Christi, TX is home to KORO-TV Univision 28.
Nice! I dig the gray tones, clean lines & the floor plan! Good price too!
I like this one, good find.
Cool video now that's right up my alley
A good Couple's trailer.
Pretty nice rv. And excellent review.👌

Do you think you can start the video with the interior? if the interior is bad most people wont really care about the rest. Thanks!

Okay so the axle weights leave room for CCC. Why do you suppose they may have under rated this model"s GVWR?
Absolutely love this trailer, but I have a great aversion to the slideout. To me space wise, the slideout isn't essential.
i have the same camper ,but with a rear ladder
How is this small trailer HUGE inside......it's really one of those Harry Potter tents?
Bigger on the inside than on the outside? Neat trick. Sure can't store these things outside, least in the north, mildew over the winter and then loaded with mice and rats. Could us gravity for draining the plumbing, need some kind of air hose to blow out the lines.
How much would the average monthly payments on a trailer like this would be??
Check out the Keystone Cougar Half Ton 22RBS. It's basically the same layout but way nicer unit. I own one and it's great.
Actually I'd like the RV industry to make a luxury small travel trailer using this layout. Like you said, not everybody wants a huge camper, but I do like luxury. Just don't say Airstream! They are a rip off.

Wow. 1x1 pine construction. Beefy!
Love the dual axles and layout. But a slide out is the deal breaker for me.
I like the layout.
Can a Kia Sedona tow this? Thanks
what,s wrong with 14 inch tires ??
Very nice floor plan.
