I was thinking, "but that door???"... so before the video even ended I was looking at the floorplan on another computer. Which unfortunately also confirmed my suspicions about bedroom access with the slide in (tight to none).
Can you 3x please find a forest river xlr nitro 407/405 to walk around. You'll love the front kitchen and the fact that it's a toy hauler! Love your videos, they are the best!!!
Not sure I would call it affordable at $24K, for a plain jane layout. It is nice and is what I would want in a layout for sure. Thanks for the review and the secret laundry room lol
I agree with that , not much hanging cloths and could use a washer/dryer hook-ups..But nice and big, and the bath is great,,The biggest that i have seen so far...
The place where you (the reporter) said a washer and dryer could go, that could be made larger by taking the space where the wall is that has the TV, etc. could be brought closer to the sofa. Then, a nice space could be created.
For that size trailer the bathroom is huge! I like these design & colors of the interior. The outside not so much I'm getting tired of the light color, swooping lines on trailers.
Very nice...1 thing that I don't like is the bathroom does not look accessible from the bedroom when the slide is closed, so no overnighters at WallyWorld....lol
To be real, a livingroom is nice, but this one's a bit inefficient. It'd probably be better to have a full-sized couch and a folding table than the undersized couch and uncomfortable booth/maybe bed. The bathroom also feels like it's a got a little bit of wasted space that could be scrapped.
Why do they put the furnace and water heater exhaust on the patio side? I'll stick with my 2012 Jayco that doesn't cause headache or worse when I enjoy my awning space.
Nice floor plan, BUT Follow the KYD mantra, start with what you can afford and get RVing... If you wait for the perfect unit, you will never get started! If you are looking to get started cheap, I would start with a Shasta 26BH, if you hunt you can get if for ~$15-16k. Plenty of room, "fair" quality and lighter than this unit. For the price of this unit, you can get MANY higher quality companies and even get some bunk house models..
That is a pretty nice floorplan. Really enjoy your reviews and all your videos. One thing that you didn't point out is a porcelain toilet. Praise the lord for that one! One thing I found perplexing is where are the outlets for the TV in the living room. I assume on the bottom of that upper cabinet but I couldn't make it out. Thank you sir!
Nice layout. Out of curiosity does anyone make a travel trailer that fits a 6’6 300# person???? Would love to find a travel trailer w/shower I can actually use 😂 !!!
It would help if you would show what's behind the door in the bathroom. I notice in a lot of your videos that you don't always show everything inside. Maybe if you sent less time fixating on equalizers that 99% of travel trailers don't come with, you could open every door.
K, the communal area is stupid. If this is for a couple why put in a huge dinette but a small couch? Why not a larger couch that is a recliner? Maybe a table that could also be a desk. And yes, what is behind that door? Maybe they should have had a tub.
I notice you get a lot of bang for your buck price wise in southern Texas. We've thought of shopping down there as the RV prices in Colorado are outrageous. We paid more for Rpod 195 than this unit. BUT, I've heard horror stories about when you need RV maintenance and you didn't buy it from them that you are SOL. I don't think it would be possible to drive down to southern TX for occasional maintenance trips. Could you or HAVE you addressed buying from dealers out of state due to lower cost? Thanks for your Videos! I find them to be the BEST information for RVs and Vehicle towing!
Nancy Cowden I just went to Crossroads RV, the builder of this RV, and got the answer for you. They state is it 32’ 6”. With that being said, it does not say if that is box size or tip of tounge to bumper length. Hope that helps answer your question. Have a great day and stay healthy and safe. 😊👍🏻
Depends on the payload you'll be bringing and which particular F-150 you have. The F-150 has a pretty wide range of capabilities and definitely can be setup to tow this. However, that truck may not be a dealer stocked item. Which means you may be spending so much money on the F-150 that you should just look at the F-250 anyway.
Question on quality based on some things you pointed out. Also very very poor placement of floor vents. Will be easy for dirt, dust, everything else to fall into them. Bathroom floor vent way too close to shower.
My dealer in upstate NY has had a couple trailers of this brand hanging around and it's pretty much, name your price, because the build quality is sketchy as heck, maybe it's got better.
@@endofsociety As one who is new to researching these, what are the build type to expect? What would I look for if I was looking for something of a more permanent residence?
I have seen this lay out at conventions before. It is nice, but the double vanity is a waste of space. You only need one sink. Also the cheap shower hose is just awful. Even if it is for a couple that's been together a long time, trust me the second sink will barely get any use, should have put in a linen closet.
I agree. It depends where youre going I suppose. We leave our unit year round at our campground and we are 100ft away from one of the bathroom units, so we couldve done with a half bath only and made up space elsewhere. But I agree very few people need a double vanity its a bit much
Terry Murdock i tend to hang out in bathrooms more than most people because i have to do enemas for my health (no joke lol) so i would love this bathroom so i could be able to lay on the fooor and be able to do my enemas more comfortably than a normal rv size bathroom.
This unit would benefit from the two side doors like my Summerland has. Mine is a bunkhouse in the rear and is a 28 foot unit. Being a big bastard, I wish mine had a bedroom slide as well though.
What is going on with the color in this video? I thought for a second you change to a sepia filter or maybe even b&w when you stepped inside. I realized that was wrong when your arm came into the picture.
Only dislikes is the unmovable table with the dinette. Rather have a table that you can move out of the way instead of being bolted in. Also wish the shower was more wider. You talk of room in terms of height, but not in terns of width. Its kinda narrow and wish it was closer to residential size
We've owned 2 Zingers...a 2011 and a 2014 now (32QB). I won't buy another. Quality on the 2020 isn't nearly as good. I'd recommend the Volante...more of what the Zinger used to be.
Nobody want to wait til the end of you videos to find out the price. Thumbs down and clicked off you channel early. might check back if you fix the problem.
And behind the bathroom door is........,
A closet with washer dryer hookups! Sorry I missed it in the video :)
LOL, I kept saying "you missed a door in the bathroom"
I was thinking, "but that door???"... so before the video even ended I was looking at the floorplan on another computer.
Which unfortunately also confirmed my suspicions about bedroom access with the slide in (tight to none).
Lol i was about to comment that
Was just about to ask about that door myself. Figured there would be a washer/dryer hookup there.
What's BEHIND THAT DOOR IN THE BATHROOM!!!! lol, I was yelling at the monitor.
Mark Wandrey
lol
The washer and dryer hookups.
Me too. I like his videos, and I appreciate that he tries to keep them a reasonable length, but he does gloss over some stuff...
washer/dryer hookup is behind the door in the bath you didn't open
Really?! That makes me like the bathroom setup considerably more.
Thank you for continuing to review less expensive units..
I totally concur about the washer dryer hookup idea! I think that should be an option every single time!
Yo this bathroom is perfect, it checks all my boxes. Wish more RV bathroom are like that.
Needs a sliding door not a curtain.
@@Dive-Bar-Casanova yeah
Was there another door in the bathroom? That would be the place for the washer/dryer in my opinion.
I have a 2011 zinger I like it so far had almost 1 year in a couple of months
Like the big bathroom. Thanks for sharing your thoughts and the review JD.
Have the same floor plan with different colors and dining table with chairs. Great job
Great price for a new model. The space in the bathroom is excellent.
Found the floor plan online . The (secret) door in the bathroom is a closet or washer/dryer prep..
This is just like my Wildwood 27 dbk except the bathroom is smaller with a bunkhouse and we have an outdoor kitchen. Lots of fun!
Love the rear extra large bathroom.
Me too. Impressive
Nice and affordable, and good floor plan. Thanks.
That closet you missed in the bathroom has a washer and dryer connection. At lease mine does
Looks like washer dryer prep in bathroom closet
This floor plan looks very similar to my Puma 31QBBH, except the Puma has a bunkhouse w/ second slide where the Zinger has the big bathroom.
I agree with that , not much hanging cloths and could use a washer/dryer hook-ups..But nice and big, and the bath is great,,The biggest that i have seen so far...
This trailer is awesome
The place where you (the reporter) said a washer and dryer could go, that could be made larger by taking the space where the wall is that has the TV, etc. could be brought closer to the sofa. Then, a nice space could be created.
Would like your opinion on the Zinger 340re. Really enjoying the reviews on the less expensive trailers.
Great layout!
For that size trailer the bathroom is huge! I like these design & colors of the interior. The outside not so much I'm getting tired of the light color, swooping lines on trailers.
Awesome floorplan. I would change couch for recliners, and move TV location in bedroom. Also add flip up countertop by sink.
We looked at this model unit, really liked it, but felt it was way to much trailer for our 1/2 ton truck.
nice layouit I like it I seen a travel trailer like it same floor plan different brand
Very nice...1 thing that I don't like is the bathroom does not look accessible from the bedroom when the slide is closed, so no overnighters at WallyWorld....lol
That bathroom is impressive
Great camper and if it has washer dryer hook up it looks like it's only missing a full fridge and some extra led lights.
It has one behind the door in the bathroom
Oh I love this but need to get a 2500 instead of my old 1500 GM
This is an excellent floor plan. I wish they made a version of this without the living room to make it shorter.
Excellent! Wish I was able to afford it. 😥. With rents going up, not sure what I can do
I hate bathrooms that use the whole width of a trailer but dont have a full residential sized shower
Why do they put the furnace and water heater exhaust on the patio side? I'll stick with my 2012 Jayco that doesn't cause headache or worse when I enjoy my awning space.
The Cruiser Radiance R-25RB is a similar floor plan.
Haha. You get a washer and dryer but nowhere to store clothes. Other then that it’s a sweet floor plan.
Wow, I really like this unit! Do you know of a fifth wheel with basically the same floor plan? Thanks
Nice floor plan, BUT Follow the KYD mantra, start with what you can afford and get RVing... If you wait for the perfect unit, you will never get started! That Zinger is a real Humdinger, sorry couldn't help myself, lol!!!
I’d change sofa to reclining loveseat
What makes a travel trailer or 5th wheel, have in it to be considered a full time rv ? You should do a video on it .
really nice layoutn
Awesome informational educational video experience Y'alls
Very nice for couples, love the bathroom. It appears that access to the bedroom is restricted with the slide in.
There's not much space for clothes because I was told this is a nudist RV
Where can I buy this trailer
Have you done one on the 2017 crossroads zinger zr328sb?
Nice layout. Out of curiosity does anyone make a travel trailer that fits a 6’6 300# person???? Would love to find a travel trailer w/shower I can actually use 😂 !!!
Custom build or external shower
unfurling, Who are good quality custom builders?
Great review! Why did you stop recommending truck size to pull with? Would you consider reviewing Toy Haulers, both 5th wheel and bumper pull?
Toss that booth dinette out a install table with 4 chairs and it would be perfect.
It would help if you would show what's behind the door in the bathroom. I notice in a lot of your videos that you don't always show everything inside. Maybe if you sent less time fixating on equalizers that 99% of travel trailers don't come with, you could open every door.

What was that door in the bathroom for?
Never mind read the comments
WTH is behind the door in the bathroom? Can’t believe you walked by it several times and didn’t open it.
Thats where the actual washer and dryer go.
A like and a comment to help the channel.
My problem with a lot of these RVs is the fact that I’m 6’6 and I don’t fit in most of the showers in RVs
Very nice.
Carpet shows nicely by hard floors are the way to roll.
Wow! So affordable. Do you ship to Hawaii?
What was behind the door in the bathroom you didn't open?
Washer/Dryer area
You missed the closet in the bathroom? Nice rv.
Or if/ Maybe?
Under the BED-
The whole thing is a Storage Area?
To me it’s not the price of the RV, it ‘s the price of the truck

If you would have opened the door in the bathroom you would have seen that they provided washer dryer prep.

3 most important things with a travel trailer. Shitting sleeping and banging this one passes with an A
Question on quality based on some things you pointed out. Also very very poor placement of floor vents. Will be easy for dirt, dust, everything else to fall into them. Bathroom floor vent way too close to shower.
Like almost every bumper pull in this class, there is zero usable counter space and the shower is way too narrow.
behind door#3 is the ??????? wait for it.... go back and check
My dealer in upstate NY has had a couple trailers of this brand hanging around and it's pretty much, name your price, because the build quality is sketchy as heck, maybe it's got better.
Dave Krukraft yea I agree. I don’t really care for stick and tin builds. Stick and tin builds are just for occasional weekenders imo.

If you had opened the closet in the bathroom you would see that it's prepped for a washer, dryer.
Better then a tiny house and cheaper

He's trying to tell them how to build their trailer
Who else just skips to the interior layout?
I speed it up when on the outside in case there's something interesting. Usually there's not, but sometimes there is.
It's not going to be a good year for the Rv industry I don't think. Especially when you can't even leave your State
