I think they put the bgm because of 저작권. It automatically got banned by youtube when you re-upload other’s video. Unless the bgm was basically included on the original video
If you watch the original clip the bgm seems softer? I don’t think it detracts too much from the conversation though. Pretty common for variety shows to use music to convey a story just need to get the loudness right.

What kind of trash music did they edit into the background? Is it the channel owner or the actual editors of the show? If it’s the actual editors, goddamn they needa get fired.
Don't you think it's a bit harsh to fire an employee for putting a BGM that some people disliked over 4 minutes of a reality show? I wonder how you would feel if you were fired over a whim like that.
