To round out the local availability, Lowe’s sells 128oz for $8.98 (7 cents/oz). I also saw on the UA-cam channel That Mom With a Laser used the same product to clean her machine with very little effort. So happy to see how it cleans stainless tumblers - thanks for the tip! Last time I engraved a powder coated tumbler, I struggled to get some parts clean. Definitely going to pick some up!
I have been using Dawn PowerWash for about a year now. Much better results. It sprays out as foam. Spray on, let sit for about a minute, rinse. No scrubbing, even on Navy or Red. Dry off and then back in the box. Works faster and better for me. Especially on large jobs.
I'm glad i got to see you again. I have just been playing with these type of water bottles. I was trying two runs to try and clean the font. Thanks for the hot tip.
Buddy you are my freakin hero. No joke I have been doing the iso alcohol and stinking q-tips. Sitting there scrubbing thinking that there had to be a better way. Tell me this works on anodized aluminum business cards too. I have been searching all over! Keep up the work mate!
I purchase LA Totally Awesome for degreasing screens for screen printing, and purchase it by the gallon. The more you buy, the lower the price per ounce.
I'm in Texas, but Dollar Tree has 12 oz? Bottles of LA awesome for $1 and it works great. They hide it on bottom shelf. Spray it on, wipe off with microfiber. Done. (Epilog Fusion Pro 60w CO2) Jeff
Hello from Tn. New to rotary engraving and powder coated tumblers. Question about cleanly engraving off the powder coat and not so much how to clean them up. I'm still testing trying to dial in settings. I'm engraving one Letter with a fill layer. When I look at where the powder coat was removed it's not a polished look like the rim of the tumbler. I'm still working on speed/pwr settings as well. What should your Lines Per Inch be "roughly" ? Should I use Bi-Directional Fill? And finally Scan Angle? I'm also getting upside down text. I believe this is a either Machine Origin setting or work origin. Any info would be great. Been Sub'd to your channel for a while. :)
As far as cleaning, it was LA awesome. It works great it’ll make it shine if you’re engraving it right as far as it being upside down just flip it in the program.
@@laserengravingwithmatt Thanks. LA awesome is coming in today. What do you usually use for LPI? Bi-directional fill? Scan Angle? Just rough numbers if you know them.
Dollar Tree has LA Awesome 32 oz spray bottle for $1 and the gallon sized refill jug for $3!

I picked up a 128 oz jug of the LA Awesome concentrate at Home Depot, it was about $10. I dilute 10:1 with water. Stuff works great!
Nice thanks for sharing. Love Home Depot

I am going to go look today for sure. Thanks
I find it interesting your results with LA’s. I feel like 505 works way better. That totally awesome stuff hasn’t been totally awesome for us.
Yeah I feel like they changed the ingredients
Love watching you Matt
Thanks
I use 409 and a magic eraser works great for me
Nice
LA's Totally Awesome Degreaser isnt working for me theres still a soot film on the tumbler i cant scrub off
Make sure your air is barely on.
$1 at Dollar Tree, 32oz. same bottle at JDS is $4.95
Bro I love awesome! I dunno about there, but here in Utah they sell it at the dollar store!
I haven’t seen it but going today to look. Thanks
A lot of people swear by LA Awesome, but it does make me gag. It's cheap for sure. Enduramark Blu is supposed to work even better, but it's expensive.
LA Awesome is money!!! I use it on my tumblers too. Great video Matt (AKA Cookie Monster from your previous video) HAHA!!!!
Lol 😂 that was a fun one 😆
None of that stuff is to find in Norway, so I need to look for other but similar options. Thanks for sharing 👍
Not even rubbing alcohol
@@laserengravingwithmatt Yes, we do have rubbing alcohol and I assume I will find alternatives, I just need to do some research...
Rubbing alcohol and a magic eraser works great, too! 👍
If you go to Dollar Tree you can buy LA Awesome cleaner for $1.00 a bottle.
Another great video!
Thanks
Thanks for the great video. Did you dilute the awesome stuff at all?
Thanks and nope
Any recommendations for matte finished bottles?
It’s the same
Hey Matt. Thank you so much for the tip. Mind me asking where you get those cups/ tumblers. The color sure looks nice.
They don’t make them anymore. I think it was from mars cups.
@@laserengravingwithmatt ty a lot. Thats a shame. They sure look good
I know right.
Hey bro what do you use to clean the mirrors?
Rubbing alcohol and q-tips
Have you tried members mark heavy duty degreeser? Curious how good it is for $0.05/oz
O I have not. But i will grab some next time I am there.
