I like Doc on single player games, even if there's a rep that it has to VSM all the time. I'm okay with him playing something that isn't 50 headshots per minute minimum.

I love seeing a souls newbie start off at Elden ring, and docs production value is top notch. You keep making these and I’ll keep watching all 7 freaking hours, you da man!
after the first stream tbh i didnt think Doc would continue. Props to him, he is getting much better! As a souls vet, it is so enjoyable to watch someone's first time experiencing a new souls game.
Here after this game won GOTY but I agree, I get so much satisfaction watching him play this game. Would love to see him play DS3 and Bloodborne but not sure if he wants to or not.
Love seeing Doc play a new game. And considering this is his first Souls-like he's really not doing bad. He's taking on some of the harder bosses too early.
I hope it clicks with him and he keeps playing because it's a hilarious playthrough.

Honestly I'm new to the champions club because I've been on Destiny 2 the past 7 years. Even though these bloodborne dark souls type games aren't my cup of tea, the stream has really started to pick up since he's learning the mechanics spells and swords.
This is actually pretty entertaining stuff!

I want to give you some solid props. For someone who's new to FromSoft, your gameplay improvemed leaps and bounds since your first Elden Ring stream. I really hope you keep trying.
You can't block an attack with a shield when you you're back is to the opponent. The shield actually has to be in position to shield you from the attack. Locking on helps to ensure you're actually facing your opponent. Also, you can't interrupt an attack animation with a block. Once you commit to an action, you're commited until that action plays out. Stamina also plays a huge role. Once your stamina is depleted, you're left vulnerable.

There's no reason to let reality of the present destroy your future. Allowing someone to keep you in this mood is handicapping your own ability to prosper. Once you gain the ability to live life and adapt to its ever changing circumstances the faster to happiness you get. The curveballs in life never stop coming.

Hey Doc, I know you wont see this but glad to see you playing something different. Youre playing well; great even for somebody whos never played a Souls game. Dont get discouraged by some of these big roadblocks. Watching people learn and progress with these games is awesome content and endearing to be along with them on their adventure. Love the content, Eft and elden ring is such a refreshing change.
Doc doesn’t read the tutorials at start of the game and gets mad. Yes it’s not super clear and from soft could have done better, but doc needs to wake up and watch a video or read a bit about the game on a website if he refuses to read the tips.

The painful part is that the whole time he is not aware that he is farming runes by killing enemies ...he believes that you have to find the stones by exploring to get runes......
Doc needs to raise his end to make up for that heavy load. Dodge is so crucial

That erdtree boss was a hard one for me but I managed to practice him over 20-30 attempts to the point where I could fight him down to half health before even taking a hit from him, also I summoned my wolfes later in the match when he goes to phase 2 and spawns the laser orbs, those you evade with sideways roll.
Big improvement. Last time was hard to even watch

Having watched Docs entertaining entry in the souls universe from the beginning; How come nobody explained to the champ, after 12 hours of gameplay, that the stakes of Marika pretty much always is the quickest respawn. I'm starting to tear out my hair here soon. If I only could travel back in time...

Great gameplay. I have tried so hard with melee class but can’t seem to learn the timing to defend against attacks. Made a caster and can’t dodge far enough away to cast. The struggle is real.
I wish I could spend 10min with a new player.... could show you the world
LB and LT let you attack on your left side of the mount Doc and if you hold RT you can drag your sword before a heavy attack
This reminds me of Crusaders of the Dark Savant, late 80s.. accept 100x better. Love to see Doc with some multi player action!
Hinestly proud of Doc for not giving up on this game after the first stream. The learning curve for a first time souls player, in general, os so high compaored to what FPS players are used to. The games dont like to teach you and its a big deterent for lots of people.
It's a shame that the awesome intro for Elden Ring was cut off in this vod. Let's hope it makes a highlight video on the channel or something.
The most rewarding aspect of this game are the stunning views for me.

You also wanna use the Uchitaganta or whatever its name is. Add the blood damage to it and it makes it OP. Level it up obviously.
Loving when Doc is on that Elder ring
DOC you can get runes just by killing enemies... the rune stones you find are just a bonus , that's the main thing of the game: the more tougher enemies are the more runes you get from killing them so you upgrade your stats faster and advance better!
I'm really liking Doc playing new games it awesome I'm really enjoying it I hope who ever is in charge of his channel who reads the comments tells him this
I feel like Sekiro should be right up Doc's Alley. Its the From Software charm with less rpg elements and an even faster more engaging combat system.

I'm surprised Doc wants to play Elden Ring. His VSM style doesn't fit the genre very well except for, maybe, Bloodborne. Fast-paced action will just lead to a lot of deaths. I also don't think Doc knows about or cares to learn how to parry.

He already made it clear in the intro this week will be based on hot games. And you right, he doesn't care about learning all the mechanics in the game because he doesn't plan to play it long-term

Jellyfish is surprisingly strong if you keep it alive long enough for it to build up decent poison damage 👌🏻

the doc does appreciate well made games, I think thats the reason why he gets into Eldenring even if its not his type of genre.
Pro tip: hit the left attack button(L1, L-bumper) to attack on the left side of your horse.
I had the same type of progression from sort of hating the game to being absolutely addicted when I started Soulslikes with Dark Souls 3. Got to Vordt and just kind of put game away for a few months, but something nagged at me...I had to beat that boss...and then I blinked and now it's present day and I have 500+ hours of DS3, 200+ DS1, 150 odd on DS2, almost 1K on Elden Ring and 70 on Sekiro. Probably around 50-80 on Bloodborne as well, but I just can't with its 30fps stuttery cap.

You can’t It’s either on docs end or UA-cam or just maybe doctor did something earlier in the stream that could get a DMC strike.

Bugged stream VOD again. 8 hours after stream is finished and it only loads the last 5 hours and 32 seconds (stream is over 7 hours long). Starting to get think that this is intentional on Doc's end. No other live streamers I'm subbed to have this issue. Their VOD goes up immediately after the stream ends (even near 11+ hour ones).
