Cat is going to see a lot of the new D9's as they are extremely capable and much less to transport than the D10's or D11's. Moves a lot of dirt and can push the graders as well. They hit a home run with the new D9 IMHO.
Quite a Dozer, they keep on getting bigger every model year...last Dozer I ran was a D8R well balanced machine...amazing how quiet they new machines are now...nothing like the old D8H's straight pipe, man they would BARK all day long. Time gone by.
My first dozer I ever bought was a 9G, serial number 66a9560. Its burnt into my memory from calling Cat so often for parts! I miss that machine oddly enough.
15 years experience as loader, Dozer, excavator operator in UAE, love to operate D8, Cat 966H and 980H, Cat excavator 320 and kamastu PC 400, love these Equipments,
I wonder... we always see what cars, suvs will look like in the future, but no one ever puts out what heavy equipment will look like. I'm curious to see how these and other equipment will evolve.
@@ryanbrown8246 I was an operator for many years, but that still doesn't alter the fact that it would have been better when that tractor was new and they knew they were pushing scrapers they would have reinforced the blade, common sense, it has nothing to do with the operator.
That's a 9SU Abrasion blade on that D9, it already has a skin over the "parent metal" of the blade face....adding a scraper pushpad it sticks "out" beyond the cutting edge and the bottom weld gets washed away. As a percentage of how much scraper pushing this guy will do given they are twin power push pulls he works with i dont think it will be a drama at all not having a dedicated push pad
Running a dozer anymore is not even operating it’s driving witch makes the driver lazy. I usually do it all myself but if they send someone over to help me while I’m loading I tell them to go somewhere I don’t have to look at you. Some guy’s will sit in the cut watching their phone while I’m loading my ass off. Nothing but a bunch of button pushing dozer drivers.

How do you think these new electric drives will perform compared to the hydraulic drives?
Thanks for sharing such a wonderful video 😍👍
Great video angle. Makes the machine look like an RC toy. Pushin more of that UK clay.

good skills you have there
Someone better clean around that top roller.
The U-shaped blades do better for moving lots of material, used them in the coal strip mines!
Were was this filmed?
# first
when is this operator going to show us how this machine realy moves dirt instead of trimming all the time
If you have a decent cut wouldn't it be better off slot dozing ? Make a steeper decsent for those scrapers to idle down easy as pye

I would have put another layer of rolled plate on that blade face before the mess it up pushing scrapers, Just saying.
Because viewers are always better then viewed operators
