The D9L (first introduced in 1980, eventually replaced by the D10N in 1987) was a crawler tractor that kept the line of bulldozers going strong, and had considerably more horsepower than the T, R, and N versions. It was equipped with a Cat 3412 direct injection engine. This unit was turbocharged with 12-cylinders which produced 460 flywheel hp.
Wow, a rough and rocky cut. Tough on the operators and machines. Lot's of potatoes in that soil. Tough to get production in that.
superb channel. glad to find your videos. thanks!
We really appreciate you buddy!!
Bet the scraper ops have their chiropractor on speed dial
wow,, very good heavy equipment,,,
Cheers 🍻 MR Twins
You are filming some great content! keep that scraper stuff coming!!....i think brother Ken has some competition!!
Thank you so much bud!! I'll keep posting as much as I can. Have a great day Gavin!
Oi ❤❤❤👍👍👍👍👍
What outfit is moving the dirt. See all kinds of names on the machines 👍 plus I'm 6 beers into it. 🍻 LoL great job brother ✌️
JMI grading brother. I'm thinking most of these are rentals. Lol drink one for me brother 🍻👍✌️
Old Ralph miztel. Was a old school dirt outfit. They could move some dirt. And old CW Poss.
I remember early 2000s I used to see them all over the place along with pokrajac corporation. I haven't seen those two companies in about 15 years.
Both outfits had some Damm good hands . some of the boys were working with my dad down in San Diego back in late 90s early 2000. For CA Rasmussen Inc. ✌️ cool thanks
@@travisstonehouse4932 that's super brother. I'd be nice to find them now day's and get some action.
Peace be upon you, I am a dozer driver with 20 years experience in all businesses, I am looking for a job

Working in rock like that has to take it’s toll on the equipment in a hurry? Good video👍
You would really think so but with proper maintenance and care, you can keep them going. Some of these have been running strong since the '80s. Thanks for watching buddy ✌️

thats tough sleddin, would it make any difference in those conditions, if that ripper tractor had better tracks ?
The dozer I assume is the 10 and the others are 9s, It seems like maybe he doesn’t have enough weight with his rippers to rip it or maybe bigger heavier rippers.
Rip cats with GPS, and those push cats without cabs, I love it! Some new operators have never run a machine without a cab, they’re all omg, this is cruel and unusual! I gotta have my ac! 😂😂 that 10 is a fuckin anchor man! My back doesn’t miss ripping rock! More whiskey and fresh hookers for my men, barkeep! 😂😂
Are the two older D9's used only for pushing scrapers? Great video by the way. I can watch this all day.
For this job they are mostly being used as pushers. Have you a great night CMC💪
@@HeavyMachinesinAction I see, have a good night as well bud.
Someone should teach those blokes on the scrapers to close their aprons abit, dirts going in and straight back out.Taking too long and small loads.
These are not scraper operators, half a load at a time.
At the fleet i work at, we and 4 feet high plates on the sides of the bowl to "protect from rocks," but we all know it's to overload scrapers. No wonder why they break so often😂
