I can't wait...I'm going to six flags over texas in September and I'm so excited to get on el sombrero. For i was only 6 yrs old when i first rode it and it was also my first ride ever at an Amusement park..I'm now 46 so it was 40 yrs ago. This remains my favorite flat ride along with wagon wheel at Astroworld. When it existed it was always my first ride at both parks..El sombrero at O.T and wagon wheel at A W
Love this content haven’t gone to an amusement park in a while but I think I’m Going to six flags fiesta Texas this weekend I loved six flags over Texas when I went
Next time I visit SFLAGS , I will try to ride the top 10 Flat rides starting from the #10 all the way to the Number #1 🎉 , cool idea , thanks to your channel!! Keep it up 👍🏼 🟢⚫️
Harley Quinn Spinsanity is definitely my favorite flat ride. When you ride it, in the 360 spin, it flips you to the side making you feel like you’re going to fall on the person next to you! I can guarantee you will hesitate the first few times, but it’s worth it! 🙂
At the now defunct AstroWorld (our Chance Trabant was called the Wagon Wheel) It ran from 1968-2005. The Eli Bridge (Scrambler) also ran the same # of years and now @ Six Flags Over Texas near the New Texas Giant! The Troika got damaged so the one from Great America came to Texas. Our Troika was 7 yrs. old when we got it in 1981-2005.
Good List Taking my kids this summer some of these will have to ride never been on Sky Screamer, or Riddler. I don't think I can take Harley Quinn Spinsanity. Superman one of my favorites.
@@darkdimensionshauntedhouse Trust me, I know the feeling. I have to go to San Antonio at least once a year to straighten up my Sea World/Busch Gardens pass. From my experience, it seems to be easier to do so by driving there as oppose to calling or emailing Sea World directly. My attempt in February was stopped by that freeze, and my next window is in the Summer. But when you get back to Six Flags Over Texas, go by Harley Quinn- the cycles have been really getting unique as of late.
I think you should visit wonder world in San Marcos tx..they have a gravity house like the one in six flags with floating uphill water etc. and a tower somewhat similar to the oil derrick..It would be really, really nice to see a review on wonder world San Marcos..They also have an amazing cave and a train ride with some animals to see....Next time y'all are around the area (central texas)if yall like the oil derrick, and casa magnetica then check out WW..😉
I have really enjoyed this video but I just have to ask why you didn’t call the video “top ten non coasters” or something along those lines? It would have made it a lot less confusing when bringing up el assadero or the oil derrick.
Oil derrick is ok for the occasional trip, but its closed due to wind frequently. Rodeo is better than El sombrero, but I think I dislike going backwards. Not a huge tower of power fan, didn't like how it made my stomach feel. Catwomans whip is fun...except for the seat shape...not the most comfortable for the behind. I would ride catwoman any day over El sombrero. Texas skyscreamer is fine, but again often down due to wind. It feels really sketchy when there's wind...but I'd ride it over & over even with wind before El sombrero. The 4 rides I've never actually ridden are the spinning thing by titan, the Caddo barge and the upcharges (go carts & the thing with the rip cord). But most of my time at the park recently was with people who are not thrill fans & almost anything outside the kiddy area is a no go. Oh wait, 5, the new El diablo...I've done a ring of fire ride before and it's a nope from me...probably the backwards issue... It was nice to see a review of the rip cord ride. Oh and Harley Quinn, it looks like a big nope, but it actually wasn't that bad. I'd ride it again, just not frequently...and it's often not operating anyways. Video idea, what rides did you ride which have now been removed & your opinion on them? Parachute where sky screamer is, flashback, the other coaster where pandemonium is now...
The Two Log Flumes, Rapids Ride, and the Bigger Flat Rides are way better for Six Flags Over Texas in my opinion, even though I never been to Six Flags Over Texas before.
I've changed on Riddler because I hate the restraints. Still it only went from 1 to 3. 1. Sky Screamer 2. Superman 3. Riddler 4. Sombrero 5. Gunslinger 6. Train 7. Pirates of Speelunker Cave 8. Oil Derrick 9. Sidewinder 10. Carousel
I'd like a short ride on Rodeo. My 1 and only ride the spinning never stopped and made me sick. I never even once rode the Paradise or the Tilt a whirl at Elitch's. Something about double spinning gets me.
Actually I'm just prejudiced against Tilt A Whirls. I've never ridden one so I have no idea if it would make me dizzy. The oldest ride ported from old Elitch's to new in 1995 other than Carousel was actually the Tilt A Whirl 1957. The Huss Breakdance Paradise, 1987, was renamed 49th and vine or something after the move.
@@fancyyoshii2868 Frankly over texas has been installing too many flats this decade and needs to start building more coasters in the park. Only problem is, six flags doesn't like the concept of parting with their money.
@@RollbackMedia totally agree. Aquaman is a solid addition, but I think Over Texas needs a new standout coaster. I want it to be something unique, something that’s worth going to the park for.

Casa Magnetica Looks like a very good walkthrough. Also Just to Let you know, Gunslinger and Roaring Rapids are now Reopen at Frontier city.
Gunslinger is so slow I just feel like I’m sitting on my head a hunch
Hey when are you going to do the last vid of thirll week
I got lucky on the sky screamer a few years ago. The operator let us go up and back down twice in one ride.
MY BELOVED SUPERMAN IS ON THE LIST ANF ITS 2!! Yay!! Amazing list. Again, Your welcome for your shoutout I gave. I’m glad your happy with it.
Love the videos and the SFOT support! Keep them coming!

Sombrero 🤙🏼🎉
in my opinion Two Log rides , the cave , splash water falls , roaring rapids
I haven't ridden the Harley Quinn, when I have gone the lines were too long. I would love to see themeing for Harley Quinn
Oddly for the last year, the ride has mostly been a walk on lately for me.
@@countofarcadia I have been wanting to go back to the Dallas Six Flags, its a 7 hour drive though

You think Daredevil can make it to the top 10 flat rides here in fiesta Texas !!! 🟢⚫️

Sidewinder will always have a place in my heart. Astroworld for life.

Do you like el Diablo
The Two Log Flumes, Rapids Ride, and the Bigger Flat Rides are way better for Six Flags Over Texas in my opinion, even though I never been to Six Flags Over Texas before.
I feel like it’s Harley Quinn because it’s so underrated
harley quinn feels slow and underated to me. they spend way to much hyping it up as some crazy ride but when i rode it i was extremely disappointed.
i went on justice league and got stuck on it on sunday
Too bad Harley Quinn is gone. My favorite 2 flat rides are Riddler and Sky Screamer.
I've changed on Riddler because I hate the restraints. Still it only went from 1 to 3. 1. Sky Screamer 2. Superman 3. Riddler 4. Sombrero 5. Gunslinger 6. Train 7. Pirates of Speelunker Cave 8. Oil Derrick 9. Sidewinder 10. Carousel

In my opinion Superman is 1 and harlequin is 2
Casa Magentica
Harly Quinn Spinsanity looks nice but frankly is boring and should be removed
No it should not that ride is so fun
All I want is a new flat ride that isn’t another unnecessary spinning ride.

But tbh, I’m not complaining about the standout rides, because Over Texas is my home park.
