Very hard to penetrate hull and gun mantlet, have to go for the sides of the mantlet head on, no APHE so chance to deal no crew damage... *sigh*.
@@urdnotwrex6969 I just.. Shoot the turret, a lot more reliable. Or if they're angling a bit too much just blap them in the side. 76mm's don't really have any issue with their shitty side hull
@@tisFrancesfault I find APDS to very unreliable. Sometimes it one-shots other times it does nothing but turn a crewman red.

The panthers are incredibly strong at their BR. Especially in the majority of maps where there can be 500m+ shots.

@@Mryodamiles I agree, the m4a3 should be at most a 5.0, and the m4a3 76 should be 5.3. It makes no sense to force you to struggle against everything with the m4a3 just to get the 76mm that will only be good at 5.3. Any uptiers with them just has you be the seal getting clubbed. I've noticed I have every 3 or so games where I get a downtier to the 4-5 range with the tiger h1, but with the m4a3 its uptiered at the same rate
@@ln7929 I personally never used it as a backup because my lineup didn't have space for it (I am much more comfortable pushing on city maps in a Tiger). Going from D to A was a guilty pleasure since you face the same enemies with a tank better in every aspect except for unchanged armor. Even the Zimmerit reduces light reflection and makes for a decent ad hoc camo pattern.

Although, the ARL-44 with the 90mm also got moved down to 5.3, and that thing can go through the panther pretty much anywhere at the front. And now that it got rid of the tiger 2s, it doesn't have much to worry about anymore

@@justinkedgetor5949 The Jumbo 76 is absolutely better than a Tiger. However, if you look at the tanks list between Axis and Allies, you can see the obvious thing: Allies tanks only have 1 out of 2 choice: High pen, low post-pen damage, or, high post-pen damage, low pen. Meanwhile the Axis has both.
US tanks have no tanks that has APHE with 180mm+ even up to 7.0 without significant drawn back (turret-less, no armor, terrible mobility, premium status or even 2 of them in 1 tank). Meanwhile German already has 190mm penetration APHE since 4.7 yet still acceptable drawn back.
The soft stats for US tanks (early stabilizer, fast turret rotation etc.) does not compensate for the lack of penetration because what's the point of all of them when you cant even penetrate the enemy almost anywhere from the front when they can just point and click at you to send 3 but not all of your crew to heaven?

Which is absolutely ridiculous, the Tiger was a phenomenal heavy tank while the Jumbo was just a Sherman with 1 inch additional armor to the front, at the cost of overtaxing its suspension.
my grandma and aunt until my gram passed used to take me along when I was much younger and explore neighborhoods and such too. I can kinda relate cause it's like a way of seeing where you might wanna end up or what you may or may not want in a house etc. there's so many sub-conscious things going on when ya do it it's hard to explain every single one. Hell, when I went to go pick up my car in FL since I had a 5 day transfer title, I took 2 extra days driving back home to go explore around some places down south before I came back home to craptastic PA.

5.3 is one of if not the best br to play at. T34 85, IS 1, Tiger, Panther, Jumbo ,Sherman 76, M18, ARL 44, Comet, Challenger are all fun to play and can all be competitive when played right. Just need an Italian option and possibly a few tweaks but compared to other brs this one stands out
