Im 40 and have been married over 21 years to the same woman. People don't take relationships serious enough and won't try and work through their differences.
The problem is people who get remarried never think there the problem so they redo it again and again with the mindset that a new person with fix it when they need to fix themselves
I'm a huge believer in common denominator. Most people bury their heads in the sand and ignore their trauma. I'm divorced and have been through extensive therapy and feel I'm at my absolute best, physically and mentally. I go out on dates with divorcees. If they start complaining about their ex or play the victim card, I bounce out. They haven't healed. I don't want it
Got married at 30, divorced at 31….43 and only had two girlfriends since. No girlfriends for almost 6 years. …..have a garage full of race cars though……and it’s quiet.
First marriage percent is actually lower than people think. Around 30-35% because most of the divorces ever year are 2nd and 3rd divorces. The reason people get divorced over and over is mostly because they are looking for the right person. People who succeed in marriage are looking to become the right person for their partner and are patient with their spouse becoming the right person for them.
@@mjaybee 2024 the big study from government said 41%, but if you look at first marriages that last at least 5 years that drops to the 30-35% I referenced. But maybe you could look it up before you spout?
Too many options. We feel like if someone can't reach one thing we move on to the next. Is reality you live in a fantasy and are ruining your chances of ever finding true love
Anyone else never wanna get married? 😂 But seriously tho… you wouldn’t get on a plane if there was more than a 50% chance of it crashing… fuck marriage
"No! You're bad at it". Truer words were never spoken. I was a former Marriage Counselor. She was beautiful. He was rich. They had a disabled child. Neither had ANY skill required for " life on life's terms".
The problem with people marry and divorcing is they don't have God in their marriage. They make their own decisions on who they want and when you live for the Lord you don't pick someone that doesn't live for the Lord. The Bible says that a believer and someone that serves God is not to mix and mingle with unbelievers because light and dark does not mix. The problem with marriages today is that they don't have a mixture of human loving God's love in their marriage. A marriage with just human love will never make it. Human love is not enough. God never meant for man and woman to ever divorce but unfortunately people don't know real love is all about. When you don't know God and you don't live for God, you will never know what real love really is
You’d think you would do a little more research before making this video. If you break it down by demographics, age and taking out people that have been married and divorced multiple times the divorce rate is actually way lower. Less than 25%. Once you’ve been married and divorced your chance of your next marriage working is less than 20%.
married 25 yrs out of 31 yrs spent w spouse now im 72 divorced 3 yrs cuz he just got bored & he mislead me all was fine he was not open to express what was his unhappiness was. He remarried for 3mo even divorced her. He doesnt heal onto gf #4 he bombed. I choose to not be w any man. Too much unloyalty.
Never been married. The older I get the happier I am about the fact.
it’s not good to not be compatible with anyone. it says more about you than anything despite the numbers we see here with other people.

No, that’s incorrect. 2012 census data shows the divorce rate after 20 years for first marriages is 47%. First marriages.

1st Marriage divorces are lower...perhaps it depends on length. Heard several years ago if you make it to year 7, the chances go down(doesnt hit 0).
Wild. I'm 46 and never even been close to getting married.
Lots of 6-8 month relationships, a few 1-2yr relationships.

No, God has nothing to do with it. The problem is that there's just a great big bunch of dummies out there getting married.
when you become a regular client for a divorce lawyer i think its safe to say marriage is not for you
That sounds like accidentally hitting my thumb with a hammer and then doing it again on purpose. No thank you.
The pool of the remarried consist almost completely of people who couldn't hold theirs first promise. Of course many of them divorce again.
