I'm shocked about Chef Ash's journey and that she didn't go to culinary school. Her food looks amazing!! Chef Ash...we need a People Vs. Food cookbook!
@@thatgirl9532 SHHHH!!!! Don't spoil future content. She'll have to face off against Brian first. XD Also, I would love to learn how to properly cook from them too. Maybe they can make a TRY TO KEEP UP/FOLLOW: Cooking Edition. Featuring Chef Ash, and the other producers too. I'd love to see the other producers' culinary expertise as well, and see what their culinary styles and specialty cuisines are. Maybe even see them pitted against each other and Chef Ash too. That'd be some awesome content that other curious people might want to know too Like, what if Joe tries to beat Nicole at her OWN specialty dish and cuisine? Wouldn't that be such a shocker?
This was a fantastic interview. I would love to see Chef Ash in a cook off with Mythical Chef Josh. Neither went to culinary school, but have created some amazing meals.
Wow. I had no idea that Ash was not a trained chef. She makes some awesome food. Now we know it isn't always Nicole. But that diaper was nasty. I think my absolute favorite People vs. Food was The orginal Charlie and the chocolate factory. I wanted to try all of those foods. I love that movie. It came out when I was around 7 or 8 yrs old. Another great episode.
All of the food that you have cooked on the video's look like a Chef-prepared meal. I dont care. You're Chef Ash. Amazing cook and wonderful person! Jack of all trades!
Really enjoyed this. Feel like I know Chef Ash much better. Hope she stays with People vs Food for a good long time. And Sharon is always great, of course.
I just found your channel and love it. As a southerner who was raised on southern and soul food, I was screaming at my phone when you said that you were told to put butter and sugar on your grits😂😂😂. Grits are best with salt, pepper, butter, and cheese.
This episode is so good & full of great southern food. It's very nice to see another side of Chef Ash ( not the one that enjoy punishing contestants) 😂😂 & like always good seeing ya queen Sharon.
@@MissUnderstood., It's ridiculously divisive, but it's seen as a Northern VS Southern thing. The thing is, the country was introduced to grits during the Carter administration. Southerners had generations of experience with them, and they were seen as a side dish on the plate of any hot meal. When introduced as a "new" food, it would look a lot like hot cereal...Cream of Wheat in particular...and to that you add milk and sugar. Says a lot for what a great staple food it is that it is good both ways. I personally think that anyone should enjoy any available food the way they like it.
Thank yall so much, ash for letting us get to know you more it's pure awesomeness .. just know you're one of my fav chefs and I'm a chef lol you did disney and anime wear that badge proud.. and Sharron great questions this was awesome nothing less from you

This episode surprised me for knowing the things about Chef ash. Love you Sharon you are great to watch I got hooked on people vs food because of you. Keep doing what your doing love ya
It’s crazy to learn Chef Ash never went to culinary school I mean the meals she makes always look & I’m sure taste impeccable. Mad respect to her & also even though she doesn’t consider herself to be a MasterChef I’m sure lots of us do. ❤ Also Sharon please tell her we need a cook book asap!!!
Luke: What’s wrong Obi Wan? Obi Wan: There’s been a huge tremor in the Force, as if thousands of voices screaming out were suddenly silenced! Luke: What could it be? Obi Wan: We just found out Chef Ash is married!!😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
I’m loving your show and getting to know everyone better. Chef Ash has such a great personality and I’m glad she didn’t get the Food Network job, for all of our sake. 😂
I sure hope Shar put all them leftovers in her SharWare but not the grits though 😂😂😂😂.. Sharon you gotta eat grits fresh and sugar does not go on grits you gotta put butter, s/p , and america cheese 😂😂😂
You're blessed throughout your journey in life, Chef Ash. Titles, like "chef," are like respect, whether official, or not, it can only be EARNED, and not bought. So everyone was all thanks to your own experiences, and fate.
U have too Sharron when u had ham hocks & collard greens on PVF u said ham hocks have been known to cause “high blood pressure “ I laughed so hard at this
"Nice and Quiet at First"......sounds like Hannibal Lecter to me... Ash & Nicole are the sweetest pious people in the history of YT reaction. The duo may seem to be Lucifer's left & right hand yet plant the most innocent, purest immaculate smile you could ever lay your eyes on. More like two beings co-exist at the same time, a Cherubim & a Seraphim...the greatest most diabolic duo of all time next to Starling & Lecter,💗 Primary reason why I love People vs Food❤👌
*Sharon the real version of Fumio hehehehe* *Chef Ash is the Erina in the real world* *Fun fact Megumi in the season 5 made gumbo when she's training overseas and even saw Soma*
The food your eating looks delicious and I like the positive parts of try not to eat. I wonder what made them decide to do punishment? I watch your videos because they're positive.
What an interesting episode. Chef Ash should be called a Chef because she has created some amazing dishes! Sharon, I don't think you were impressed with grits. Grits are one of my comfort foods. I first had them when I was 5 at my nextdoor neighbor's in Chicago. I got to try greens, cornbread, and grits. Still love them to this day.
I think Sharon and I are the same age and I’ve never tried fried green tomatoes my families from Missouri but I still never tried it. I live up here in Tulare California.
With so much respect...don't put sugar in the damn grits! As a Southerner, where grits originated, we shun the thought of sugar in grits...cheese, bacon, eggs, salt, pepper...shrimp...but not sugar.
I'm surprised that chef Ash didn't go to culinary school. But if you really think about it the best cooks in the world didn't go to school for it. And most of them are the ones that taught the chefs that are chefs now
Food Network's loss was OUR biggest gain :) YAY for Chef Ash! - Nicole
Food Network's loss is OUR biggest victory hehehe
I'm shocked about Chef Ash's journey and that she didn't go to culinary school. Her food looks amazing!! Chef Ash...we need a People Vs. Food cookbook!
I also kinda want to see a Shokugeki with not only against Brian, but against Nicole too.
Literally agree with everything you said ❤
As someone who loves to cook but isn’t very qualified I’d love to learn more off her & Nicole
@@arkavalon5347 The Nicole Shogukei would have be to against Sharon 🤣

I love Ash. A suggestion for Sharon: can you add a desk mic so the sound is a little bit better. Keep up with the good work

How did they know EXACTLY what we needed? This video! 🥰
I absolutely love Sharon. I'm so glad she has a channel....Well deserved❤❤❤ And let's not forget chef Ash nails it on making food.❤❤❤
Should’ve did butter, salt and extra black pepper in the grits for a savory dish. You do butter and sugar for breakfast
No sugar in the South...butter, cheese, sausage gravy are all good choices.
@@nancythomas5387 I agree , it’s a crime but unfortunately some people like sugar in their grits😂😂

I'm so disappointed that they didn't have oxtails on the menu. But the food looks delicious. And yes, you got the hopping john!
Sugar is a sin in grits. Cheese, butter, salt, and pepper is where it's at.
I'm shocked the SOUL food restaurant told you sugar.

Cajun girl here best way to eat grits is with sunny side up eggs with cheese and cayenne lol or for dinner ppl do shrimp amd grits lol
I was today years old when I found out Sharon had her own channel 😮
There's SO much extra food. Where does it go?
Also... yes, Chef means you have run a comercial kitchen.
Sugar, do not belong in Grits Sharon. Lol .as a Southern. That's a NO NO!! Only salt, pepper and cheese. Cheese is optional..
Cheesy Grits with Salt N pepper is sooo good. I'm from South Mississippi lol
She doesn't need a degree or certificate she is Chef Ash. And she's very lovely... when she isn't whipping up punishments.
