For the last 5 years that i was a JW I had so much anxiety and depression. It's been a learning process of discarding what I learned as a nearly born-in, getting help, continuing my healing journey, getting in touch with my inner self, figuring out how healthy it is to be true to me. All of which is totally against what wt wants you to do!!

Thank you for the insight, my wife is struggling with it. I think the lies about CSA, Elders being arrested, Governing Body Members being removed, Mark Sanderson now leading things, and the infadility of Elders within our own Congregation, and not being removed. Partiality with Elders family members getting off with child birth out of wedlock, yet other being disfellowshipped for less. It just keeps going. So my wife is struggling with it. But she sees the hypocrisy clearly. And Elders trying to contact her demanding she divorce me. She told me today that she knows I am loved by Jehovah even though the Elders tell her differently. But she is not ready to believe the GB is not the Faithful Slave. Then the mass shooting in Germany and the GB calling the shooter a shooter when he was a brother in that Congregation. Why hide it? And a big memorial show televised about the victim's which is very sad, but that is not done for others violence takes their lives. Again the Partiality displayed by the GB!
Tell her to get out, they totally control your life. I know because my mother was one
@@VB-ff1dr I struggle for truth yet I have learned yesterday that the Elder who is demanding she divorce me tried to molest her when she was 14, as she was baby sitting he came in the room telling her to be quiet he just wanted to touch her, but she started yelling and left stayed with a Sister down the street. This Elder has served for almost 40 years and this incident happened in 1987, and he has disfellowshipped many for less than what he has done. Because my wife kept it hidden thinking she was saving his family as he told her, how many more children has he molested this way? And what about his Elder friends protecting him? How many of them are pedifiles? I do not even want to imagine! But it does answer a lot of questions why they are attacking me! So my wife basically protects them while they openly struck me down. 🤔 I think your correct this cult controls everyone in it. That's why CSA is out of control in all the Congregations world wide!

Also you are uninformed misinformed and disinformed about csa. A million kids go missing every year in the USA alone. How? Child protective services
Funerals differ per person. Some are buried with so much dignity and there are different speakers on the deceased’s life whilst others are just talks and thats it. I didn’t know the shooter in Germany was a brother! Another brother recently bombed an assembly in India and the GB reported it as a terrorist instead of a brother. I am mentally struggling with the religion as well and it’s getting worse. People are leaving and those staying are miserable & cause so much pain onto others. 💔

The unthinkable happened here. A long serving Elder with 6 boys and 1 daughter, I told you about it before. The son of 25 was disfellowshipped but had a medical problem, which became severe and he needed his parents help but they turned their backs on him. So he got so bad the worldy people near him brought him to his Elder father asking what kind of a father turns his back on his own son who is near death? They rushed him to the hospital where the doctors tried to save him but also wanted to use a blood transfusion as a last effort but the son refused and soon died at the age of 25. The doctors told the Elder if he had gotten his son to the hospitals sooner they could have saved him with just antibiotics but he was to malnutritioned for his body to fight the infection. Now many brothers are showing up at the Elder home. It shows shunning is a plague within the Congregations. They Bury him Friday on the Grandfather's plot. Imagine the guilt that Elder has now. Will he ever be able to read about the prodigal son and live with himself? I could not I would rather be dead myself than to do such a thing to my own son. And many seen him reject his own son when he needed his father most. So sad!
@@JustDeannaJune my wife taught these children in school, my wife was crying, but the Mother did not shed 1 tear the whole visit. She just said they were negligence on their part.
I remember once when I was at a circuit assembly, I should not have been there that day I did not feel well. But I went anyway because I would have been made to feel guilty for not going. I just started my period and I had diarrhea. I was up and down to the bathroom, this little boy about 12 years old came up to me while I was on my way to the bathroom. And asked me to please stay in my seat. I told him I'm a grown woman and I know when I need to use the. The boy said, but I'm an attendant and I said yes I know. But I don't need a little boy telling me when I need to go to the bathroom or not. An older attendant walked up. Luckily the boy walked away. Because what I was getting ready to say I didn't want to say in front of a kid. I told the attendant I'm on my period and I have diarrhea and that's why I'm up and down to the bathroom right now. So you don't know what I'm going through and you have no right to tell me I can't use the bathroom when I need to. It's not like I'm getting up and down because of I'm goofing around doing something else. I actually am sick and I need to use the bathroom. And I don't need you to tell me when it's time to go to the bathroom or not. I find it very demeaning to be reprimanded by a little boy. In the Jehovah's witnesses, if you're a woman it's almost as if you have to obay any Jehovah witness man if he tells you what to do. I'm glad to be free. ❤

Listening to the report, I was reminded of my decision in 1978, I went to local community college to get my head. I had quit school in 1973 and had fun into a girl I went to school with. She was working at the Smithsonian in DC. She had my job! I had to go get my head, just for me, to see if I could have passed. Not only passed, was the highest in the group. The college wanted me to take additional classes and offered these to me in scholarship form. Of no, I could not do that. I would be wasting time that needed to be spent in door to door ministry. A couple of the brothers helped me with a little of the math. They were college graduate before becoming jw. I was so proud of myself for doing this as was my then husband. Later in life went to school for being a sign language interpreter. Taught by a girl first and got my diploma in that. That was 1978. Don't waste time in school, don't have children. Armageddon is coming next week. My son was born in 1980. I left jw. He is a NC A T State University graduate. Works in Clinical Trials and Research in Cancer And Leukemia for Duke University. Imagine the mind that would have been wasted had I stayed in jw. My son is now 43, married and I have twin grandchildren boy and girl aged 23 in July and 12 yo g- son . Look at all the happiness I would have lost. And by the way, Armageddon is coming next week. Still waiting but went on with my life. Got saved and am very grateful. Thank you Jesus

My mother wanted me as a teenager to join Bethel. I was like No Way 😂 I had long hair and my mother begged me to go to a meeting and the overseer said it’s a shame for a man to have long hair and good for a woman.

Cobb,Pa Congregation! Will Kozlansky was an elder there.Now he is in the Rosetta Congregation! So happy people are leaving in droves! Praying for our families!🙏💗🙏

What a wonderful interview 🤩 the very 1st crack I saw in the org was Ephesians 5:21 be in subjection to one another now how would things be different if they cherry picked that one which is the beginning of the paragraph instead of 22 but they never not once included that part of the scripture. So I started asking around about that and needless to say I was the single sister of four kids that didn’t like the headship arrangement. Some of the sisters I showed were just jaw dropped. I wrote to the branch haha

My JW friend was seriously telling me how this brother knocked on someone’s door and they threw a dirty bucket of water on them from the upstairs window. I busted out laughing 😂 wish I could tell you my stories
I got out because there was so much suppression in this organization and this is why I never raised children in this nonsense especially if I had a daughter.
The only status a woman has inside of Watchtower is to "Pioneer."
Nowhere in the bible do men have authority over all women. A husband must be head of His wife, only as Jesus Christ is head of His Church, which He died for. He must take care of his wife's spirituality as much as his own, and only his wife's. This is exactly where JW'S men are so disturbingly, misogynistically wrong, replacing women's spirituality with prideful authority, trying to remove any right to make any kind of decision.

These OT events show the need for Jesus Christ to become a sacrifice for our sins for all time, to bring us all under the New Covenant. Hebrews 8 7-8 Women can choose to be under the New Covenant which Jesus Christ made possible for all, (not just the GB. as they wrongly teach) Romans 6 23 Luke 22 20 Galatians 3 28
