No you cannot control the pitch or octave only how much of your voice or that octave is heard in the mix. In the FXLoop you could add a dedicated pitch shifting pedal if you needed more control.
Thanks for doing this -- I've been wondering about this pedal for a while. What if you want two effects in the same bank -- like, octaves + phaser? Is there a way to do that?
You’re welcome! Ya I thought about this pedal for a good while as well so I understand. Unfortunately there isn’t a way to do that, so the effects loop like with the habit is the way to get a similar effect like one already in bank A while still keeping bank A open to use whatever mode you want.

It is a pretty fun pedal and the ability in certain moments for voiceover work to sprinkle in delay for comedic moments or times when reading lets say for audio book to add space at certain points say the characters enter a cavern.. changing how the voice sounds as if they are actually there transports people to feel like they are there. Ya that would be great!
Fantastic video. I tried the Maw but I found it didn’t work great in a live rock ‘n’ roll kind of setting. In fact, it’s hard to find vocal effects that work well in diverse live situations. I think the MAW is may be better suited to quieter or more controlled environments.

Maw seems standard to a tc Vox pedal I have. Unrelated to the pedal, I hard relate to the house band. I also record music in my room that I think sounds cool, but also sounds like one person multi track recording all of the instruments. real bands are so cool, rare; and hard to put together, but worth it creatively. When a band can keep their individual needs and emotions in check, and realize a band is only as whole as the sum of its parts, is when the magic happens.
You mean the Voice live play? I have that pedal also! on the Band topic when everyone can keep their emotions in check a band is a beautiful thing, Ive had several instances where it worked for a while until it didn't but there are always good lessons learned in those scenarios. All forms of recording and performing music are valid if given the right perspective about art and musical expression and don't let ego get in the way of it.
Yes! I tried all three but found that the selector only lets you choose the XLR outs OR the instrument cable! I wiiissshhhh it did both! Haha thanks for what you said about the character, that’s what I do on this channel! Explore effects pedals through the art on them or with a character to explore their sounds
