  • I'm heading to the Tail of the Dragon, Cherohala Skyway, and the Tail of the Dragon for yet another road trip, 1000 miles on a Triumph Tiger Sport 660! I'll be taking scenic routes and stopping at the Wheels Through Time museum. What should I call this Tiger 660?

What a transformation Doodle; from a self confessed nervous rider to a confident rider of all styles and sizes hitting the twisties. Much respect. I live on the west coast of Canada and will be 'doing the dragon' in August so am interested in your take on it. Kindest of regards. 🇨🇦

Your upcoming trip on the Tiger Sport 660 sounds wonderful on two counts -- the machine, and the destinations. Every Triumph I've ridden are super smooth and fine rides. I hope you find this one the same. Be safe!

Thanks Doodle, as usual you are so inspiring. I have a Goldwing and a VStrom 650. I like them both, and I have really come to enjoy the seating position of the VStrom and it’s weight. Have a great trip!

I rode an 800 Tiger, it was very nice. I had to get used to the height but it was no problem. Torquey, smooth engine that was also happy to rev. Hard to beat Triumphs.

Have fun. Ride safe. You have taken more classes than some riders will in 50 years of riding. You know your limits and abilities. Thanks for sharing with us.

Hey, Doods! Love the Tiger even though I'm a Harley guy. Excited for your road trip - we did the Tail on the way to our rental cabin... we were in a pickup towing a trailer with the bikes in it. So, technically, I've done the Tail with my Road Glide. LOL! Cherohala is an awesome ride! I can't believe how beautiful the roads are in NC - just be sure to give up the center line on the sharp corners because you'll definitely meet traffic. We didn't hit Wheels Through Time, but can't wait to see your take on it.

First off, I think it’s great how you are pushing the limits of what people believe you are supposed to be able to do. You make a great example for me to point at when my daughters (3 of them) say they can’t, or are convinced it’s not something a smaller woman could do. (One is 5’ 3”, one 5’ even). Thank you for being a positive example for women, as well as a positive example to make men understand the limits on women are purely mental and mostly placed (unfairly) on you all by men.

Ignore the little men, watching your series on the big baggers and such has given Kj way more confidence to ride on her own. She was out recently and dropped it when parking on a hill, but she came home beaming and happy. Having seen you lift the GS she engaged the same technique without a thought and righted it straight away. Thank you for your videos they give us all helpful tips. Cheers 🍻

Super looking forward to this road trip! The Tiger 660 is a bike I've been looking forward to some reviews and media on since it was announced and seeing you about to embark on a trip with one is so good! Hoping for safe rides on it!

Thank you for showing yourself testing the friction zone. I have seen it happen to many times where someone just hops on a bike and takes off. Never giving themselves time to get a feel for the clutch or brake. Great job!!
