Jo, I am blown away. I have been dealing with shoulder pain for 2 years. It bothers me mostly at night. I recently started going to physical therapy and nothing they've had me do has touched the problem. I did the stretches in this video last night before bed and had at least a 50% reduction in pain. I've had recurring shoulder pain for a while now. So I just did the lat stretch one and it was definitely tight. Right after my shoulder popped and the pain is much less! Thank you!!!

As an educator working remotely and teaching completely virtually, I am at my computer more than 10 hours a day! I already have bad posture and being at the computer this long each day especially puts stress on my neck and shoulders. Thank you for providing these simple stretches to relieve pain!
Omg! I found your channel and I’m so grateful. I had shoulder pain for about 4 days & then it went away but my fingers (right had) are all tingling non stop. Pinky, ring finger are numb & thumb, index tingle. I’ve been doing the exercises. Went to dr. Didn’t get much help. Thank you, stay safe & well.
Thanks for the wonderful shoulder impingement exercises Dr Jo. I'm an avid weightlifter, but hampered by shoulder pain. I put a lot of stress on my shoulders during benchpressing. I believe your advice will help me to continue though with lighter weights.

I really needed these, especially the one with putting one arm behind and and pushing with head to look under armpit. It helps my sore neck muscles too. These are GREAT and make me aware of my posture.
Makes me want to go to the gym minus my sore back (self-inflicted, doing gardening) ☹️ will be going through the collection I've put in a playlist to find 1-2 stretches per main body part to do in the morning after I walk my dog, get the body warmed up before I get stuck into any physical movements.
I have been troubled with my right arm for a few weeks. Did these exercises and now seems to be fine! I think using a cross over bag doesn't help so will alternate sides for carrying that. Thanks.

Thanks Dr. Jo! After a flip over (front to back at 20 miles an hour with no seat belt) 8 years ago and landing on the roof, during which I supported my neck and head with my arms, I ended up with a terribly painful shoulder. Physical therapy did not help. Doc suggested a labral tear and suggested staples but I put off the surgery. I fell 17 feet a year ago and though my shoulder is somewhat painful, it feels like the fall fixed it. I always thought that it felt like a ligament or something had maybe slipped between the joint and was in the wrong place. Could a ligament or nerve slip between during should dislocation? and then slip back during second injury?
Do you have recommended stretches, exercises, etc. for violin/fiddle players? Bowing and fingering can lead to pain, especially after playing a dance for 2-4 hours straight.

I have used what you have here to great effect, bought your book after falling and messing up my bow arm and am finally back to playing again. Hi there, I woke up with bad shoulder pain after sleeping funny, I can barely raise my left arm and Its painful to drive, could this be a pinched nerve?
I have 2 injuries one on knee which was a hair line fracture and had a hip surgery. I can't sit on folded legs and always get a pain on my knee .. now my thighs are stiff.. pain is getting worsen. My leg hurts really bad. Please help!
@@AskDoctorJo apologies for the delayed reply. had an accident in 2016.. There is a rod still inside .. it was advised by the doctor to take out at convenience after 2 years. and now it's becoming problematic in terms of movement and pain in general

Where was your fracture, and what kind of hip surgery? Are you cleared by your doctor to do stretches and exercises now?
