    I did an arrow exhaust and tune to my Streetfighter V2 and it made a world of difference. It really helped it out under 6k. And I mean it made a world of difference.

      What tune and how did you do it?

    • @charlesgutscher1923
      @charlesgutscher1923 2 місяці тому

      @@SquireSCAI went with SLR for the tune. Shift tech is also another really good option. They send you a handheld. You upload your stock file, they send you a revised file. It was easy enough. But it's made me go from wanting to sell it almost instantly because of the lack of torque and power down below 6-8k, to completely happy with it. I've out almost 6k.on the bike in a year, probably going to trade in for a V4S to try out this summer. Mostly out of curiosity.

    Dave, I've never been a fan of cruiser style bikes but the 2025 Buell Super Cruiser does look pretty sick. The price tag estimate is more than I'd ever spend on a bike though

    • @SquireSCA
      @SquireSCA  3 місяці тому +1

      And after spending that kinda money, and then watching Buell go out of business for the 5th or 6th time... lol
      They come up with cool designs, but there just isn't a market for those bikes. Not when there are so many other established manufacturers out there with real dealer networks, supply chains, aftermarket support, etc...

    Yeah, this thing zings all it's torque and power up high. Super peaky torque curve. The epitome of drop a gear and go, because you ain't getting that torque for a LONG LONG time if you are cruising at low rpms and higher gears.

    Hey Dave,
    Marvin here from Germany. If you would have to choose between the Streetfighter V2 and the MT-10 SP, which one would you choose and why? In Germany they are both about the same price.

    • @SquireSCA
      @SquireSCA  2 місяці тому +1

      If you are looking at those two, for the same money... The MT10 SP is the better buy. Faster, better suspension, a bit larger and more comfy, cheaper to maintain over time, easier to tune, more aftermarket support, more extensive dealer network, etc...
      On paper, its the better bike in every way.
      You get the Ducati, if you really want to own a Ducati, and don't mind a couple of quirks here and there, and higher maintenance costs... If you value the Italian design language and want something a bit less common, something that rides as well as it looks, etc... The Ducati is the one that you will find yourself going out to the garage to look at, often... It has an appeal that doesn't show up on a spec sheet..

      @@SquireSCA Great, thank you for the quick response. Sadly that is exactly what I thought. "Sadly" because I just think that the Streetfighter is the most beautiful naked bike out there. If the SF would cost a lot less than the MT-10 it would be a no brainer. At the end the way the bike rides when I am sitting on it an the reliability are more important to me than just the looks even though the SF is sexy as hell. Do you know how reliable the L2 engine of the SFV2 is? Are there known issues with the bike?

      Yeah, down low the Monster feels stringer but get the revs up and its got like a 40hp advantage up top. Love this thing...

    Maybe the worst stock exhaust ever.

    • @SquireSCA
      @SquireSCA  2 місяці тому

      Not even close. The microphone in my helmet isn’t picking up much of the noise or tone. As far as stock exhausts go, it’s one of the better ones at higher RPM.
