- NOW AVAILABLE ON THE APP STORE for iPad glob.ly/2n9 and iPhone glob.ly/2nA and on Mac/PC in AmpliTube Custom Shop amplitube.com/slashcs
In this video, Slash himself uses the official Slash app, AmpliTube Slash and walks you through the features while talking about how he used iRig while writing songs for his latest album "Apocalyptic Love" - get the Slash sound with realistic versions of his gear like AFD100 and JCM Slash
www.ikmultimedia.com/slash for more information
Take it from Slash who said: "AmpliTube iRig comes in really handy for on-the-go practicing, recording, or just jamming on different ideas -- even if it's on the bus -- it's right with me all the time", Slash adds, "I'll do some tweaks on the Marshall's, but there are also different effects that are available including distortion, chorus, auto wah and more."
IK Multimedia is proud to announce AmpliTube® Slash, the official Slash apps and software that let you play, practice and record with Slash's signature pedals and amplifiers on the iPhone®, iPod touch®, iPad® and Mac®/PC.
All versions of AmpliTube Slash feature models of the signature gear used by Slash in the studio and for his live performances. Now users can rock with models of the legendary Marshall® amplifiers used by Slash together with his signature guitar pedals. Also included is a comprehensive collection of Slash's guitar tone settings provided as starting points for tone tweaking or playing along.
Available for iPad: www.ikmultimedia.com.com/produ...
Also available for iPhone / iPod touch: www.ikmultimedia.com/products/...
Also available for Mac/PC: www.ikmultimedia.com/products/...
Additionally AmpliTube Slash provides a fully integrated multi-track recording studio for capturing ideas quickly and easily or producing entire songs and compositions (via in-app purchase on iOS versions). A robust song player section gives users the ability to play along with songs or backing tracks by importing them directly from their device library or computer.

Slash is the definition of Cool (Looking + Behaving + Talking + Sounding)
Izzy was cooler...
Daryl Dixon should join Guns n Roses
These all really funny ways of spelling Miles Davis
He used to be but I find the whole 'Rock Star' thing a bit naff and annoying these days
@@blvckgold5911 who asked you
Pretty fun to watch Slash show you it rather than some random guy. :)

Yeah Slash is a cool dude
Please check the FAQ on our web site and contact support if those suggestions don't help. Thanks.
There is a different interface on iPad, one more stomp slot, and more. You can get more information on the site linked in the description. They are two separate apps, to answer your second question.
You can find more detailed information on our site. You can get Slash gear as in-app purchase from the AmpliTube app or you can get the AmpliTube Slash app itself if you prefer. Note, though, that in-app purchases are not transferable so you'd have two separate apps if you wanted to go with the rest of the AmpliTube gear later.
Thanks! This is some of our best work yet! The Marshalls are just... WOW (yes, we're biased but we do enjoy the gear and models directly ourselves too).
I love Marshalls too. Rock on Brothers!!!!!!!
Please follow the links in the description. It has been available for PC since the first day of release. Thanks
On Mac/PC you can try the Slash models out in the Custom Shop. Go to the link in the video description for more information.
That's what I believe modeling is all about. High quality simulated gear for a nice price.
It paves way for a lot of inspired musicians who can't afford a ridiculously expensive rig for that tone they're looking for.
Yes, our iRig STOMP interface would also work very well in a live setting with AmpliTube Slash. You can also use the Mac/PC version live too, and we have a great interface called StealthPedal for that.
Do you get AmpliTube free with the STOMP?
Nice idea! He's an idol of mine. We also have some super-secret pictures of him with a top IK person from YEARS back. Great stuff!
I cant wait til the Axl app comes out. I hear its not compatible with the Slash app though :(
+Barkeroni www.instantrimshot.com
+Chris Rolls jajajajajajjaja you made me cry 😂😂😂😂
😄😄😄
I own the Axl App. it quits on you when you least expect it. It's very finicky (i.e. time of day/weather patterns). When it works, it's balls out GREAT! But currently it's working only 25% of the time. And when combined with the Slash app, it works only 10% of the time. :/
You guys are lucky. I couldn't afford the Axl app and had to go with the budget Adler app instead. What ensued in my home studio after that was total insanity. I'm only just getting over it now.
Even picking up all versions (iPhone, iPad, desktop versions for Mac/PC) run a LOT less than the real thing for sure. The two dual channel heads and the Booster (quite frankly everything in this set) is among the best we've done so far.
AmpliTube has been a top music app from the day of its release, very well regarded based on the many years we've been making amp sims and audio software. You should try it out and compare. As they say "your mileage may vary" but there are many that really love AmpliTube's sound.
Slash is THE legend
Yes AmpliTube has had MIDI control built in for years. There's information about it in the manual and Tech Support can give you one-on-one help if you need it.
awesome that they brought new things to the amplitube for the iPad! You guys should do more thing for bassists! I know you would make a lot of people happy :)
There are different versions... iPhone, iPad, and one for Mac and PC computers. If you follow the link in the description you will see all information.
When using iRig or iRig STOMP there is a headphone out on both which can go to powered speakers and sounds great. With iRig STOMP you also have 2 1/4" outputs for amp, mixer/PA, etc.
You can buy the main AmpliTube and add Slash gear as in-app purchase. Or for Mac/PC you would get AmpliTube Custom Shop where you could get the Slash Collection to add on.
Please elaborate, are you asking about Mac OS X or iOS and if so what exactly do you mean by "support Core Audio" as all iOS apps are technically Core Audio and you can definitely use AmpliTube on Mac OS X with Core Audio compliant interfaces
You can use StealthPlug or StealthPedal or any other ASIO/Core Audio interface with AmpliTube Custom Shop on PC / Mac
The specs are on our web site, you may have an older unsupported device. If you still have questions, please contact support and they will help you.
My favorite guitarist of all time.
The Wah Dist is included in the full version of the AmpliTube Slash app for iPhone/iPod touch or via in-app purchase in the AmpliTube Free or AmpliTube full apps.
Anything Slash plays sounds good.
Well, he helped actually make this app so it definitely sounds good :)
Yes follow the link for more information. Thanks!
Yes, you could. iRig STOMP has direct outputs perfect from an amp or PA/mixer, and iRig you would use a 1/8" stereo to 1/4" DUAL mono (very important to use dual mono) and plug one of the 1/4" to your amp.
AmpliTube works on newer iPod Touch (the ones with the combination input/output jack like iPhone/iPad but see our site for Specs to verify your model will be compatible). Also, you don't need an amp but you do need to plug your guitar in so you can use iRig for that.
We have a wah that has autowah setting, or you can have someone move the phone but I'm thinking that might be more expensive and harder to do than getting MIDI control
Every time when i'm back home so tired that i can't play on my guitar i just go to youtube i've watch Interview with Slash where he is also playing, i'm pick my guitar to hand and i'm start practice :D.
Yes, we've added 30-pin support to AmpliTube Slash and 2.5 update. On iPad you can even use StealthPlug or StompIO for great audio fidelity!
If you have the gain knob set correctly, and the input levels in AmpliTube (as well as making sure the first track is armed in recorder and the tuner isn't engaged) you should give support a shout so they can help you figure out what's going on.
They are carried at many music retailers both in stores and online, we sell it directly, and we have a dealers page on our site that will find the closest dealer based on your location.
You can use iRig (which we see Slash hold and he used in his hotel room to write songs), iRig Stomp (which you can see on the floor) when it is released soon, or you can use any proper guitar interface including those that are 30-pin connections now with this last update.
Welllll... this gear is very different, and you should hear some of the presets in the Custom Shop (desktop) edition in comparison with previous attempts to get his tone. Amazing!
It is already available. It has been available on PC from the release date.
You can send the output of iRig or iRig STOMP to an amp, yes. Note that the amp will add coloration to the amp sound from the app, though.
É muito legal esses guitarrista americano,eu sou fã do Slash!
Hi, you have multiple slots for Stomp FX in AmpliTube. You can put Distortion in one, Delay in another.
I love the way hes just sitting there ripping out these awesome licks and not even looking XD
He was involved in this project so yes we were able to capture his tone very well and you can too if you use it.
Oh he does fine, especially now with the MIDI control features :)
Slash is like "Wow! Listen to how good this sounds" *cringes while camera isn't pointed at him*
Tbh it sound like fizzy shite tone
I laughed
grande slash, my favorite guitarist,
excellent application even for those without money
for pedals and loves music and your amazing sound
especially november rain and maybe play it in the garden!
Lol you could play in the garden while using your illusion and go with Mr. Brownstone on the Nightrain while being estranged from that sweet child of mine because she's pretty tied up and out to get me but I put up with her double talking jive because she's my rocket queen and anything goes until I'm in a coma it feels like paradise city but nobody has patience and I say don't damn me or my bad obssession because your beating a dead horse and we been going like a locomotive for 14 years and I feel like I'm having a breakdown but don't cry that was yesterday and today I feel like one in a million no matter how many times someone says " your crazy" ..and I say you could be mine but you start a civil war when I said I used to love her so back off bitch because it's so easy and you will always be my Michelle that's what I think about you, just live and let die avoid the bad apples and keep in touch with mama kin ... Ok I gotta go take my OCD bipolar schizophrenic pills and a Xanax because I'm right next door to hell !!!!
It is included with the full Slash app or you can get it as in-app purchase within AmpliTube Free or Full.
Also, on iPad you can use StealthPlug with the Camera Connection Kit for high audio fidelity.
We use iRig and iRig STOMP which have input and output on them, and we also have iRig HD coming which plugs into the digital input (30-pin or Lightning) coming soon.
We do sell accessories to plug in your guitar - there's iRig, and the pedal is coming and is called iRig Stomp. On iPad, you can also use the Camera Connection Kit to plug in our StealthPlug which is a higher fidelity sound.
Why this cannel just appeared in my youtube??? I hate to be the last one on earth to see it.. Goddammit, I love this..
You can simply use an 1/8" stereo cable from the iRig output (just like people use to connect their iPhone to their car's Aux In jacks) to a good set of external speakers and it will sound great. Sounds like you may need a speaker upgrade if you are using this method already :)
You should try the presets. If you are having problems, you can contact support and they will help you. Your signal chain is very important, make sure you are using a good interface to get your guitar hooked up to your iOS device.
You can use the iPhone version on iPad if you wish (iPhone apps work this way per Apple spec) but the iPad-specific version is a separate app.
This is connected to powered speakers, and you can get iRig at many retailers (music and traditional). You can check the "Dealers" page on our web site if you follow the link in the video description an dit will find the one closest to you.
iRig Stomp - you can get more information about it at our site. Thanks!
But did you know that our input devices like iRig, iRig MIC, etc work with many/most Android devices? If you do have an app that passes/records input from the 4-pole connector on your Android device you can use our accessories.
Our accessories work with many/most Android devices (due to being a pretty standard 4-pole connection) however the apps require low-latency audio at the OS level which Android OS has documented issues with. Once they resolve that, we'd be happy to spread the love to Android OS users!
We devote A LOT of effort - we use the REAL amp, take it apart, measure everything, do everything we can to model the circuit down to the tiniest detail. It is explained on our web site, we've been doing this for over a decade and it shows. Slash himself said in his TechCrunch interview that this is "as close as you are going to get" without the real amp and using a digital device. Take it from the man himself.
For suggestions you can discuss it with over 33,000 IK users on our official forum.
Good Afternoon Sir Slash
If you are using iRig, you must route your output through its output (once something is plugged into the jack, the device will route output through that, not the speakers - it is the design of an iOS design with that jack).
yeah good stuff,, slash you rock my world...
iRig STOMP is the update you are thinking of and is shipping now. It uses active circuitry for improved sonic quality.
iRig (the accessory) does indeed work VERY well as an input device for Garage Band
This update to AmpliTube now works with 30-pin input so yes it would work.
Hey IK - firstly let me say how stoked I am on this latest release, bloody awesome & can't wait to melt the fretboard with it! Quick question... Every time I see IK product demos they're playing them through auxiliary speakers as opposed to headphones, what's the best way you find to hook this up? Basic methods I've tried sound tinny. Appreciated:)
The original iRig or iRig STOMP will not, but some people have had luck with iRig HD (since it has a USB connection). However, this is not a supported setup and you'd have to use something like ASIO4ALL and route the output to another device (including onboard output) since iRig HD is input only. Thank you
Yes that sounds just like what you can do with the newly-added MIDI control. You'd need a MIDI interface like iRig MIDI but for more detailed information check this video /watch?v=Az61hKGPIKQ
I’m a big fan of the slash pickups
Oh that would be great. Apparently Slash did show him the app backstage at a show!
AmpliTube 3 Free sounds like it is right up your alley. You can get a very reasonably-priced audio interface (we have StealthPlug and StealthPedal which also come with Gear Credits to get gear in AmpliTube's Custom Shop!) and start rocking with the free version!
The best guitar amp modeler in the galaxy !!! Thank you so much for this IK Multimedia! I was completely blown away !!!
Please contact support and they will help you (go to our site, you can even click the link in the video description). Thanks!
Worthy, Mr Hudson sir!
Thank you slash for help making this
Wow this is really interesting!! I've never seen an app like this before! Are there Amplitude amps for different guitarists?
You'd want to make it flat as possible (no extra gain, EQ set to where there is no EQ if possible, no reverb unless you use that instead of AmpliTube's reverb). Note that most guitar amp speakers are not full range and will also color the sound a bit.
There's a bass amp in AmpliTube for iPhone and I just learned that there's another one coming!
You can import directly from your iTunes music library
Great video Slash

If there was anyone to be in the list of cool people, Slash is on it probably 10X over. You don’t get much any cooler than Slash. I’d say any app he helps develop would instantly be the coolest app on the market.
He and Miles used the original AmpliTube iRig to write songs for Apocalyptic Love, and when he told us we went forward with his own version!
The output is simply sent from iPad to be recorded with the video.
You need to put it into a stomp slot in the app. Please contact support if you do not know how to do this after reading the manual (you can click the ? icon in the app).
Love the app!
That may require experimentation. Depends on different factors, but it could sound good... you'd be using AmpliTube iRig like a pedal.
This is a matter for tech support. You can contact them from our site or within the app.
That's a well thought-out comment, thank you! A multi-platinum recording artist thought AmpliTube iRig was so "stupid" a sound he used it to write his new solo album... hmmm, that makes me think you are using the vernacular "stupid" to mean "AWESOME" or "AMAZING" so thank you very much. :)
You should use an audio interface that has Hi-Z/Instrument input. On-board soundcards lack fidelity and more importantly do not do impedance matching which is required to get the correct guitar signal into your computer. We make StealthPlug and StealthPedal for this purpose too.
Slash is the most awesome badass ever
that looks so cool!
Sounds great
I'll look for an app like that.... But great work IKmultimedia this is a perfect app
he sounds like like slash even if using a algorithm program.
finger tone for the win.
VERY VERY VERY GOOD. CONGRATULATIONS 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Amazing Slash
Many thanks for the reply. I am currently using amplitube 3 on my pc, so those features will also be possible using a big midi floorboard like the stealthboard or a similar product from Roland (my music store said that the stealthboard isn't going to be released anytime soon?)
If you visit our site, we have a dealer/distributor page on our site that will search based on your location.
