Thanks! This is some of our best work yet! The Marshalls are just... WOW (yes, we're biased but we do enjoy the gear and models directly ourselves too).

I own the Axl App. it quits on you when you least expect it. It's very finicky (i.e. time of day/weather patterns). When it works, it's balls out GREAT! But currently it's working only 25% of the time. And when combined with the Slash app, it works only 10% of the time. :/
You guys are lucky. I couldn't afford the Axl app and had to go with the budget Adler app instead. What ensued in my home studio after that was total insanity. I'm only just getting over it now.
Yes, our iRig STOMP interface would also work very well in a live setting with AmpliTube Slash. You can also use the Mac/PC version live too, and we have a great interface called StealthPedal for that.
That's what I believe modeling is all about. High quality simulated gear for a nice price. It paves way for a lot of inspired musicians who can't afford a ridiculously expensive rig for that tone they're looking for.
AmpliTube has been a top music app from the day of its release, very well regarded based on the many years we've been making amp sims and audio software. You should try it out and compare. As they say "your mileage may vary" but there are many that really love AmpliTube's sound.
Even picking up all versions (iPhone, iPad, desktop versions for Mac/PC) run a LOT less than the real thing for sure. The two dual channel heads and the Booster (quite frankly everything in this set) is among the best we've done so far.
awesome that they brought new things to the amplitube for the iPad! You guys should do more thing for bassists! I know you would make a lot of people happy :)
AmpliTube works on newer iPod Touch (the ones with the combination input/output jack like iPhone/iPad but see our site for Specs to verify your model will be compatible). Also, you don't need an amp but you do need to plug your guitar in so you can use iRig for that.
Every time when i'm back home so tired that i can't play on my guitar i just go to youtube i've watch Interview with Slash where he is also playing, i'm pick my guitar to hand and i'm start practice :D.
Yes AmpliTube has had MIDI control built in for years. There's information about it in the manual and Tech Support can give you one-on-one help if you need it.
The Wah Dist is included in the full version of the AmpliTube Slash app for iPhone/iPod touch or via in-app purchase in the AmpliTube Free or AmpliTube full apps.
grande slash, my favorite guitarist, excellent application even for those without money for pedals and loves music and your amazing sound especially november rain and maybe play it in the garden!
Lol you could play in the garden while using your illusion and go with Mr. Brownstone on the Nightrain while being estranged from that sweet child of mine because she's pretty tied up and out to get me but I put up with her double talking jive because she's my rocket queen and anything goes until I'm in a coma it feels like paradise city but nobody has patience and I say don't damn me or my bad obssession because your beating a dead horse and we been going like a locomotive for 14 years and I feel like I'm having a breakdown but don't cry that was yesterday and today I feel like one in a million no matter how many times someone says " your crazy" ..and I say you could be mine but you start a civil war when I said I used to love her so back off bitch because it's so easy and you will always be my Michelle that's what I think about you, just live and let die avoid the bad apples and keep in touch with mama kin ... Ok I gotta go take my OCD bipolar schizophrenic pills and a Xanax because I'm right next door to hell !!!!
You should try the presets. If you are having problems, you can contact support and they will help you. Your signal chain is very important, make sure you are using a good interface to get your guitar hooked up to your iOS device.
They are carried at many music retailers both in stores and online, we sell it directly, and we have a dealers page on our site that will find the closest dealer based on your location.
If you have the gain knob set correctly, and the input levels in AmpliTube (as well as making sure the first track is armed in recorder and the tuner isn't engaged) you should give support a shout so they can help you figure out what's going on.
You can use iRig (which we see Slash hold and he used in his hotel room to write songs), iRig Stomp (which you can see on the floor) when it is released soon, or you can use any proper guitar interface including those that are 30-pin connections now with this last update.
When using iRig or iRig STOMP there is a headphone out on both which can go to powered speakers and sounds great. With iRig STOMP you also have 2 1/4" outputs for amp, mixer/PA, etc.
You need to put it into a stomp slot in the app. Please contact support if you do not know how to do this after reading the manual (you can click the ? icon in the app).
The original iRig or iRig STOMP will not, but some people have had luck with iRig HD (since it has a USB connection). However, this is not a supported setup and you'd have to use something like ASIO4ALL and route the output to another device (including onboard output) since iRig HD is input only. Thank you
Welllll... this gear is very different, and you should hear some of the presets in the Custom Shop (desktop) edition in comparison with previous attempts to get his tone. Amazing!
I think I will try it out, however I will buy only for the simulated amps. How much effort was devoted on simulating the slash (silver jubilee) edition amp? What is attractive is not so much all the effects and recording etc, but the ability to simulate a 3000.00 amp (if you can find one). In principle with the i-stomp and a 1x4 cabinet you should be able to get the exact tone as you would from the real amp? Suggestions on how to get the most out of this app towards emulating the amp itself??
This is connected to powered speakers, and you can get iRig at many retailers (music and traditional). You can check the "Dealers" page on our web site if you follow the link in the video description an dit will find the one closest to you.
If there was anyone to be in the list of cool people, Slash is on it probably 10X over. You don’t get much any cooler than Slash. I’d say any app he helps develop would instantly be the coolest app on the market.
We use iRig and iRig STOMP which have input and output on them, and we also have iRig HD coming which plugs into the digital input (30-pin or Lightning) coming soon.
You can simply use an 1/8" stereo cable from the iRig output (just like people use to connect their iPhone to their car's Aux In jacks) to a good set of external speakers and it will sound great. Sounds like you may need a speaker upgrade if you are using this method already :)
You can buy the main AmpliTube and add Slash gear as in-app purchase. Or for Mac/PC you would get AmpliTube Custom Shop where you could get the Slash Collection to add on.
You'd want to make it flat as possible (no extra gain, EQ set to where there is no EQ if possible, no reverb unless you use that instead of AmpliTube's reverb). Note that most guitar amp speakers are not full range and will also color the sound a bit.
I have two questions. 1) I've used Rocksmith (It was on sale and I was curious), but even having supposedly the optimum setup (analogue out to a powered speaker plus various tweaks) the latency was completely unacceptable. Has anyone tried both and if so was Amplitube much better latency wise? 2) There are various multi effects pedals (Line 6 HD 500, Zoom G5 etc) that model amps too. Has anyone used both and if so how do they compare to Amplitube?
You can find more detailed information on our site. You can get Slash gear as in-app purchase from the AmpliTube app or you can get the AmpliTube Slash app itself if you prefer. Note, though, that in-app purchases are not transferable so you'd have two separate apps if you wanted to go with the rest of the AmpliTube gear later.

Yes, you could. iRig STOMP has direct outputs perfect from an amp or PA/mixer, and iRig you would use a 1/8" stereo to 1/4" DUAL mono (very important to use dual mono) and plug one of the 1/4" to your amp.

Many thanks for the reply. I am currently using amplitube 3 on my pc, so those features will also be possible using a big midi floorboard like the stealthboard or a similar product from Roland (my music store said that the stealthboard isn't going to be released anytime soon?)
This is a killer app. Very useful and convincing. I would recommended though getting a good set of speakers to use this app to its potential. It sounded average on my Logitech speakers but I upgraded to a sweet pair of Krk Rockit 5's Gen 3 and now it has all On my way! To life and soooo much better sounding 👍
Sounds like an issue with the output level you mention. You don't mention what you are using for input, either. Your best bet is to contact support (you can find a link there if you follow the link in the video description) and they will help you one on one.
Simply amazing app!To have at any cost believe me. Just a question:in the video Slash is using the app through Ipad but on my Ipad(Ipad 1) the layout is different.I cannot use the app with the Ipad stand and have such a zoom on pedals. Why?
But did you know that our input devices like iRig, iRig MIC, etc work with many/most Android devices? If you do have an app that passes/records input from the 4-pole connector on your Android device you can use our accessories.
AmpliTube 3 Free sounds like it is right up your alley. You can get a very reasonably-priced audio interface (we have StealthPlug and StealthPedal which also come with Gear Credits to get gear in AmpliTube's Custom Shop!) and start rocking with the free version!
Hey IK - firstly let me say how stoked I am on this latest release, bloody awesome & can't wait to melt the fretboard with it! Quick question... Every time I see IK product demos they're playing them through auxiliary speakers as opposed to headphones, what's the best way you find to hook this up? Basic methods I've tried sound tinny. Appreciated:)
We do sell accessories to plug in your guitar - there's iRig, and the pedal is coming and is called iRig Stomp. On iPad, you can also use the Camera Connection Kit to plug in our StealthPlug which is a higher fidelity sound.
Did an unexpected demonstration video of most of the gear in this release in my latest video. Still hoping that Marshall Amplitube is on the horizon. Amplitube 3.8 Slash Demonstration
Our accessories work with many/most Android devices (due to being a pretty standard 4-pole connection) however the apps require low-latency audio at the OS level which Android OS has documented issues with. Once they resolve that, we'd be happy to spread the love to Android OS users!
Hey IK I believe its time to update the iRig, just to reduce a little bit of those hissings and feedback when playing heavy metal, I love this product I have 2 DEMOS written in garageband on my channel plus 10 more on my soundcloud, using the iRig really helped me to express any idea that came up at any moment... GREAT PRODUCT!! (4/5)
That's a well thought-out comment, thank you! A multi-platinum recording artist thought AmpliTube iRig was so "stupid" a sound he used it to write his new solo album... hmmm, that makes me think you are using the vernacular "stupid" to mean "AWESOME" or "AMAZING" so thank you very much. :)
Android OS still does not support low latency audio enough for an app like AmpliTube Slash, however iRig and our other accessories work with most Android devices.

I think he said at the end its a noise gate.. i dont know the iRig accessories but i doubt the sell a pedal with it
Android OS still does not support low latency audio enough for an app like AmpliTube Slash, however iRig and our other accessories work with most Android devices.
Great video Slash
It's recorded on the iPad in .wav format, the video is using those recordings.
Does my Apogee Jam work with amplitube?
Yes it will work with AmpliTube.
