Pro Tip: When you are moving your units on the main map, if you select multiple units, a button appears on the left to "Join brigade". You can merge up to 2500 men. By doing that, if your lead unit runs into say 600 enemies and the mini battle starts, you have a large advantage over the smaller British units and they won't break and run. Secondly, when you go into battle you will have a large ball of units in one place, so you don't have to run them all over the map to group up and tire them out. You can also have the commander "Join army" as well. It's the meta for fighting large British armies. Wasn't sure if you knew that. Loving the playthrough so far. 🤔
Thanks for the tip. Oddly enough I'd just been reading up about that earlier this morning as I knew I was missing something about moving armies around!
That Salem battle was strange. It was a scripted battle that I have never seen before. Boston was interesting. Once again I have not seen the British troops move out so early before the map expands. I wonder what other surprises will occur as you progress your campaign!
The colonial army historically did run around trying to avoid a major defeat. As long as they were still alive as a force the war could continue. The redcoats were trying for that decisive battle to end the war.
Really? Who else remembers Benny Hill Show? 🤣as a german kid I didn’t understood the jokes, but was laughing for hours after seeing this people running in fast motion 80s humor was full of senseless sexual fun, but… 🥳✌🏻❤🍀👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
I was exactly the same, didn't understand half the jokes as a kid but used to love the ridiculous sped-up chases with everyone going round in circles :D

Trust me to run into unusual and weird stuff!
So much for Boston being a long term goal ep 4 done and dusted hehe.
But the question is, can we hold it?
