I don't think I ever became me bc of what ppl thought or what I ever allowed to affect me. Bc it was always My choice, My life!.Im just me bc I'm simply me. Ppl can't even simply be themselves w/ out others adding their 2 cents. It's like legitimately, I really don't actually find u all that interesting tho. Plz go back to your own space and bring that weird energy back over there somewhere. Getting older & I don't like investing any kind of energy on anything I consider pointless. @@brianmeen2158 An extrovert is a person who is outgoing and socially confident. Obviously, that is not you, then. You can still be alone, even when surrounded by many people in your life.
My complete life 99% of my trouble cames from outside (family, friends, girls). Now I'm alone for 8 years, no apartment, travel in a camper van, playing guitar, watching the stars, communicate with the universe. I was never before so happy.
Gives you time to reflect and learn the psychology of the people who you believed to be your friends and also gives time to learn about yourself and the situations life throws at you it's a concrete jungle out there stay safe 👊
I am a middle age introvert. I’ve embraced being alone and have learned to enjoy it. I used to be married about a decade ago. There is no way I could ever do that again.
I feel you, when I was married I really missed the me time alone. I'm divorced now and sometimes I miss marriage life but if I got to choose I would choose to be alone.
I'm an ACTUAL introvert. I've never been interested in Marriage... I'm the reason grocery delivery exists. I'm a full time published author... there's levels to this game. This is the most I ever socialized... and it's just with the intent of antagonizing. So my life can remain blissfully lonely.
It's beautiful being alone at night when everyone's asleep and the streets are empty and quiet. Makes for a fine relaxing drive if your car is even a little sporty 🚗 🙂
It all started in 2014. I decided to take a year off from dating. I spent time with myself, my friends and family. Read books, watched movies, and raised my kids along with my ex-husband. Went back to school at 47 and got my BA at 53. I'm now 55, been single for 9 years. I am in love with being alone. I realized that I'm a happier person alone, more peaceful and have a lot of time for spending time with God, and in silence. Never been happier. 😊😊😊
I consciously cut off friends, I just do my office work then I switch off to being my own self. I stroll in my back yard, do bit of gardening. Thanks to my remote living, I'm not bothered by neighbours, family is there but they don't bother me. Some think I'm depressed but the fact is I enjoy being alone and your video just convinced that there are folks like me out there. Peace!
Me too! Isn’t it weird how some people feel threatened by that? You have to keep explaining “I’m happy by myself” and they look at you look you’re an alien.
Man cave, she cave, his tiny house, her tiny house. But beside each other. There sooolllved. Patting myself on the back. Preferably w/ a dude who actually thinks like a dude.... I am an old man who revels in solitude, but I also enjoy the freedom of the internet to satisfy my curiosity about the human condition. Acceptance of my failings comes in the quiet time of introspection afforded me by a lifetime of work and service to my family, community and society.
I am 39 years old was married for 9 years, got divorce. I have never live alone in my life, when i decided to get my own place and live alone at first was lonely and sad, depressing. But once you get use to it is beautiful. We come to this world alone and we will leave alone😊🙏🏼
At 35 years old I’m just now starting to understand the joy of being alone. I used to get a false sense of dopamine being around people and needing their validation and attention. Now I’m building my business and focusing on myself.
Bonzo, as you know, living on your own with no one's expectation's to fulfill is the great open secret of life! The Church, the state, society, your family, and friends want you to compromise your life, like they have compromised their lives. They all live in anxious desperation with large mortgages, immense college bills, and marital tension, separation and divorce as the result of all this desperate striving of living like hamsters running in a wheel. Bonzo, as you know one of the greatest pleasures of life is tranquility and you can only find that in solitude. I recommend that you read Arthur Schopenhauer, the 19th century German philosopher on women and marriage. He also encouraged the practice and enjoyment of the arts and philosophy as the way to engage with life. Also, I recommend you look up Epicurean philosophy as it emphasizes enjoying the small pleasures and living with tranquility...Best to you in your life journey.
I love living alone. I spend time with family and friends, but I’m happy living by myself. People keep asking me why don’t I remarry? ‘Cause I don’t want to, not because I’m anti-marriage, but because I feel the healthiest this way.
I am 78 and live alone. I have family but they are not close. I don’t mind being alone one bit. I was an only child and learned very early on how to amuse myself. I read a great deal from age five, and drew and made up my own little games. I was fine around other kids and had a good time playing, but never minded being alone. But I must add, that I am in contact with my family, so though I live alone I am not totally isolated. I find life alone very calm.
A little random but I pretty much raised myself. It's a teeny bit funny ppl think I was raised up right. 🥴 =Idk what ppl expect when you're out in the world by your young self, raising ... But I didn't actually ever know what it was like going w/ out, at least materialistically, when I did live w/ those kin. Anyways, I always thought me & what army? I wonder now if I'll always have a huge army but "w/ out even trying..." Or in short, I wonder if the health fields & associates ever feel haunted. And u know what? Nvrmnd. Bc of couuuursse they would. Dealing w/ the elderly does give me perspectives. Like what do u mean handle the well respected... & Now, it's really just a thing to me, kind of
6 years ago i divorced after 25 years of marriage. 5 years a go i quit facebook and i stopped watching tv and sports. It is so liberating. I now have more peace in my soul and more time to connect with my small circle of loved ones. I encourage anyone to try it.
I must say I’ve felt more peace and serenity in my life since I’ve been alone for the past few years. Gone is loneliness and fear. Become your own best friend and you’ll never be alone in your life ❤
I feel the same as you, although friends/family keep reaching out to me and when I ignore them, I start feeling incredibly guilty and start wondering whats wrong with me. You experience anything like that?
Solitude is an underrated therapy in a such a chaotic and fast world. Being at peace alone is priceless. There's is a difference between being alone and being lonely. Once you learn to enjoy your own company, you'll always set aside time for it.
I'm pretty much alone most of the time, and I find it refreshing. It helps to 'recharge' my 'batteries' and to just look back and reflect on some things.
I instinctively loved being alone as a kid in my room . Or just alone in my house looking out the window watching the kids I had just been playing with. And I've been doing it my whole life. My brother and sister would laugh their asses off about me BEING INSIDE. They still do! It makes me happy, gives me peace. Let's me think way clearer. I have enough of my own crap to deal with haaa. But ya, for me at least I can only take so much of society, the world, people.... whatever you wanna call it. Your crap! This gives me at least a chance to catch to catch my breath till my next round WITH PEOPLE.
I am ok with or without others. Really both are needed for well rounded life. I always could entertain myself or enjoy the company of others. I did teach and practice yoga meditation which is a powerful tool for opening our minds to opportunities for self awareness and knowledge.
@@elizdonovan9219 i think it's harder for those who don't have the choice to be with people whenever they like or maybe at all. Or at least people they care about and care about them. Humans are designed to have some degree of stimulation from being relational. It's not healthy to have none of this. Choosing to be alone at times is a completely different thing.

When I was so rounded with people I’ve loved and trusted ( with a huge house ) I was depressed, angry, miserable, no appetite ( scary skinny) with horrible insomnia. Now that I’m alone (in a small apartment) I’m very happy and healthy ..Thanks be to God🙏💐🙏
Being alone teaches you all you need and want to know...love the peace..you learn so much about everything...being quiet is a gift..being alone is a gift.
Great, wise words, I wasted a lot of my years continually trying to "please people"and failing miserably,I was unhappy to say the least! finally after a very "bad marriage I realised "enough was enough" and escaped into a life of "living with myself" and enjoying the peace and solitude that came with it! never having children was also a big bonus! when I decided to leave my wife , driving down the road it felt as though I had been released from prison! never to return, I was 50 years old then, and now at 67 and retired,I realised what I have missed! and after 17 years of "peace and solitude" and pleasing myself I can truly reccomend it, after all of the "trials and tribulations" of being in relationships,I consider myself "truly blessed" and to be the "phoenix from the ashes of a life gone by!" Good luck, Be strong, Be alone,....😊👌
For sure. I’ve been alone since I was an only child. Single parent..hectic job, feeling as I just am not part my generation. Love my solitude…raised my girls alone, helped raise all 5 of my grandkids…rescued/saved so many non humans also. Born caregiver…easy to burn out and become exhausted..and physically ill. I’m 75 yrs old now…and I understand conscious awareness and letting go and flowing ….long story..but it all began almost 33 yrs ago. Now…I am grateful…feel love…and accept that I’m only able to control my own mindset and my actions/inactions. Conscious awareness … and meditation…and solitude…benefits me, others and this Universe. I believe in vibrational energy. I dwell on the positives within my life..not the heartache and loss of so many loved ones..and it’s amazing that I’m aware I’m able to do this. It’s an ongoing process….but so worth it…and doable.💥💫💖

I love being alone. I'm a creative person, that is what happens when there is no people and no phone. But I'm so afraid that as I get older and as life gets more expensive in the UK I will spend less time alone and more time working. I try to do this 4:28 all the time, I look at my environment at peoples faces and they almost never look back theyre usually on their phone, wherever they are, they're not here. This is a very powerful message ♡
Yes many creative pursuits require being alone. Yes there are a lot of people on their phones these days. You might find my video ‘The Background Static’ interesting as it talks about this age of distraction.

I've been told I have an "unfriendly looking face" by people, that I look intimidating, and that's why I haven't been able to make friends since I was a teen (age 42 now). Thus forced to be alone, I've discovered tons of benefits of being alone over the decades. Especially being alone in nature.
U are not alone on that, thats why I decided to never care what anybody says about how I am or how I do things. So long as I feel comfortable in how I am I will never try to change mi personality just to please somebody else. I always believe there someone somewhere who will accept and appreciate me the way I am,for not everyone is perfect in this world. I really do feel trying to change mi lifestyle/personality just to please other people intimidated or uncomfortable about mi personality will just be loading more unnecessary pressure in mi own life,I'd rather have less or no friends at all its fine
I have reduced my social media footprint by deleting those apps… I rarely socialize only with close friends and family. Being alone is great. I get to reflect on my own faults and goals.

Dude, there's nothing better than your own company. Deadass... Is best to find happiness in the self (self love is real y'all) than trying to achieve happiness in someone else's company. Companionship, wether be in a friendship or romantic relationship, will not fill the loneliness void - only the self can do this.
I remember being a very happy person before I took up social media. I never cared about others, what others were thinking, why someone wasn't replying to me. Recently I went on a hiking trip with mates and I forced myself to not take my phone. Never felt happier. I reckon social media is an illusion, and leaving the phone alone in a drawer is the solution to many many problems.
Yeah social media was the worst thing to ever happen to society. It just a makes everyone 10x more narcissistic, egotistical, selfish and simply evil all from the false reality that they display to be real for the sake of receiving validation from their audiences and trampling on people. It’s a joke, I’m never touching it for the rest of my life and I stay far away from those that excessively indulge in it and make it a lifestyle.
May I humbly suggest that "hiking" is probably the one activity where you DO need to take your phone? A phone, at its most basic level, is for communications, not just hanging out on social media sites. It can actually be used to call.... 911! I don't want to read another tragic story of someone who got lost while hiking and the Search and Rescue people have to look for you for days before you are found (hopefully alive, but not in every case). Otherwise I agree with your comment...
@@mocrovich Yeah some people love trying to make introverts feel like losers and small people in society and most deem them as such just because they are noncommittal and nonconformist to societal norms. It’s always beautiful to see an individual enjoy their own company instead of the company of crowds built off of insecurity, inadequacy and shallowness.
@@FriendofDorothy haha don't worry I make sure we're safe when we go. One guy had a phone although we didn't have reception most of the time. We also carried a PLB so plenty of countermeasures haha. Family and other friends got a route card and estimated date and time of return before they call emergency services. Another mate brought a satphone and we all had UHF handheld radios if someone separated. But yes phones are pretty good in that aspect but there are still plenty of ways to stay safe in the bush without a glass brick!
Do not invest much time in people who hold no value in your heart. Withdraw from social media. And realize you are never alone because God is always with you.
Reading the comments and everyone's experience gives me so much hope. I was feeling a bit down and depressed because of my failed marriage, getting anxious about my future but seeing how it's okay and even best thing for me to be alone helps. Also recently i came across this person who was 75 years old and he told me he has always been alone but not in any kind of lingering sadness but he was completely okay, he even told he was doing okay. That felt good. So i can grow old and alone and don't need to have this fear or want of needing a partner. Thanks for the video, grateful 🙏
Yes hunny seems sad but I am 32 and only have my children They are 12 and 13 and I even teach them this principle, because truth is human beings let you down in so many ways they can’t be dependent upon I always tell them that everything is only a moment in time They should not attached themselves to anyone but yourselves, but know that they always will have each other for how ever long as they are in the physical But they will always carry their selves and one another each other. Should I say in our hearts no matter where we go even after the physical realm is over everything is only a moment in time. The problem is people have been made to want to live forever, and have the fear of what it would be like to let go of someone or have the fear Of letting go of this life not living in the moment like this is all we have. When the truth is we all have to get old someday and we all have to leave. It’s a very dangerous thing that we are creating in the hearts of our children today with that feeling of hanging on to their parents forever when they have to grow and have they own lives in the concept of life because then they’ll grow up feeling alone and doing crazy things for love. Simply, because they have not been taught the right way about what love really is which is loving yourself not looking for it somewhere else in someone else
Solitude, is what I personally look forward to every single day from growth, development and repair. All three of them take place just by finding the fact that there's plenty of value in solitude.
I learnt it through hard way.. But finally found a friend within myself who understands me and appreciates me wholly . So there's no fear now of being criticised 😂

Also one of the greatest lies. All man's miseries come from little men sitting in rooms when they know they should be doing something, saying something. Instead they let things just happen out there in the world. The silent majority let the thugs and liars run riot because it seemed, er, that's the way things are going, The quiet men could have spoken up, spoken the truth, stopped a few atrocities or holocausts.
Most people cannot face themselves; they're engaged in elaborate avoidance strategies. I had one boyfriend who said he had to buy an Audi car. I mean, seriously? It was a must. When you get that thing, that car that luxury handbag it's never going to satisfy you for long. Is it worth what you sacrificed to buy it?

I am so used to being alone and living alone for many years, I started to lack social skills, but never been more grateful for all the peace and freedom. They are running through my veins like a drug. Once you get addicted, it's hard to go back.
I hear you on that one, I was widowed young 3 and a half years ago and by default started to isolate myself to cope with the grief, now I cherish being alone and don't want to go out because it's addictive being on my own ( I do miss her though) . Like you I think I've lost social skills and struggle to remember how to have a conversation but consider it a small price to pay for the peace and solitude and calming of the mind.

Einstein famously said: "Imagination is more important than knowledge. For knowledge is limited to all we know and understand, while imagination embraces the entire world, and all there ever will be to know and understand."
Pascal’s focus was to turn us to God, His presence. We were made for God and when we are alone, nothing stands in the way of that ultimate peace, once we have repented.
What price for peace? I am alone but, never lonely. I can occupy myself in healthy past times. Cooking, gardening and painting. Oh the joy of being Solo!
people don’t innerstand the power of being alone, able to adore the silence. but you aren’t alone in your loneliness. you who you truly are when you are alone. good vid.
Thank you for the video. It is unbelievable how now the phone can bring all the chaos of the world to our rooms while before people had no idea about what was going on in their neighbor village. Our minds are getting more information and worries than what they have been evolved to hold.
Being alone has been a blessing, the peace and clarity that comes with it is unmatched, sometimes I just sit on my sofa for hours with the TV off and no interuptions, of the best medicines other than healthy food.
Before, I felt disrespected when that one classmate called me a loner, but these days I felt more prouder that I can manage myself being alone. This actually made me discover and try things that I am afraid to try before. I'm so proud to be this independent now, I don't need to depend on others and just blindly follow their lead because I can't decide on my own. Being alone is freedom and it attracts opportunities because you don't have to always consider other people which at times becomes baggage to the things that you wanted to pursue.
I've felt the need to be alone for many years now and it's bought me unbelievable transformation. There were so many great points raised here. I'm constantly trying to find that perfect balance between 'being' and 'doing'. Thanks for making this 🙏🙏
My entire home is my sacred place. This is why I don't let anyone come here. I'll meet you anywhere you want, but you can't come here. Unfortunately, I have the ability to absorb energy, so when people are around me my energy shifts based on what they are presenting. Sometimes I can block it, but it is draining all the same. So, I need my personal space clear.
I'm with you, Medusa, to a tee! I live alone in the Mountains amongst trees and birds, and enjoy watching the clouds float by. And what you say about absorbing energy is so true! Just the other day, I was lying down in a semi-snooze when there came an insistent knock on my front door. I hesitated to get up, but thought it could be a neighbour in need, and so opened up to, would you believe, a Seventh-Day Adventist with a bent to "converting" me, and pushing a pamphlet on me! I was polite (raised to be...social conditioning...?), accepted the propaganda-leaflet, and politely asked him to never call again. But the moment left me in a degree of confusion as to whether I was being intolerant, or whether I should have been even more insistent on protecting my personal space. I don't mind people and get along well enough with decent-minded folk. but, like you, my home is, as you call it, "my sacred place".I lived in a lonely place and space for fourteen years married to a woman who left me to take up with her Lesbian lover...Explains a lot...

No matter how many problems I may have on a given day, or week. After I go out and run for 2 hours, there all solved and gone. The mind is an amazing thing, if you only allow it to work for you! In my entire life, I have never gone to another human being with a problem. I just put on my shoes, head out the door. Then all I have to do is relax and listen.
I think you made an important point, that the true peace doesn't come until the storm of thoughts finally calms down. I can sit in a chair with no stimulation and occupy myself with thoughts for hours, but that's rarely more fulfilling than any other distraction. I like to spend most of my time alone, but I think I need to be honest with myself about what types of alone time are beneficial to my well-being, and get better at deciding when to nudge myself out the door.
I learned to be alone when I was an adolescent. I refused to be part of the "in crowd" just to be accepted by my peers. It helped to prepare me for life. Being a grown man, it makes me think about what a young Latino Bro said to me 15 years ago " Life Is Just An Extention Of High School." A lot of truth in that statement. No man is an island. We need we, but being alone has awesome benefits. Having someone in your life who understands that can be a blessing. Quiet time is sufficient. Find out how beautiful you are inside/out and the beauty that surrounds you every day. Awesome video ❤
I’ve always had a great social life, but more-so I love spending time alone and having a conversation with myself in my head or even out loud. It really helps me stay grounded and serves as a status update in my life.
Being alone there is no frustration, anger, demands, urgency, loudness. I enjoy my own presence. I follow Eckhart Tolle. And several Buddhist monks, gurus. Spiritual teachers. Inner peace brings external peace and ability to handle life better. Namaste.
… only life isn’t for handing, it’s for living (the clue is in the name) and it’s for living in perfect joy and harmony so either your gurus are feeding you bs or you’re misunderstanding them or maybe you’re just listening to them and not 11:39 doing that actual work but either way handling life sounds like hell and you’ll never succeed because life doesn’t need handling, it’s perfect just the way it is ❤️

I believe in a balance between solitude and social interaction. I live alone and spend a lot of time alone, but I'll tell you what it can play tricks with your brain.
That’s the beauty of living alone, you get to get control over your mind instead of it controlling you as it does to the majority of people in the world and the thing is, it’s not even their mind, it’s the collective consciousness that we claim as ours and being alone helps you to realise the truth of this
Love it. But Im never really alone. God is with me always. He is ALL I need. Done with relationships. Select friendships are great, but I will never give up my peace.

I’m living alone, I have fur babies that love and care for me. I miss my family… I know there’s no peace with them so all I can do is pray for them and be grateful that it’s best to live and let live. I have busy days all by myself. The videos, clips and photos you've chosen to put these points across are perfect and only add in a positive way to the overall message. Saying that I could close my eyes and just listen to your voice, a meditation in its self, so calming and wise. Brilliant stuff. Greatful for it ❤
There’s a time for everything, including being alone. If you use the time being alone correctly, it can bring benefits. For some people, being alone brings more harm because they use it incorrectly and their minds start to entertain negative thoughts. So be wise, know and understand yourself what you really need. The ultimate goal is to be happy. So do whatever is right to make yourself happy.
The ultimate goal is to be happy’ who says? Just be human! Accept all its foibles. Happy’ is Sunday colour supplement nonsense. Most of the world is hungry and poor. Where’s happy in that?

I love being alone. Nobody to tell you how to live your life. Solitude is the best.
Bonzo, as you know, living on your own with no one's expectation's to fulfill is the great open secret of life!
The Church, the state, society, your family, and friends want you to compromise your life,

when I decided to leave my wife , driving down the road it felt as though I had been released from prison! never to return,
I was 50 years old then, and now at 67 and retired,I realised what I have missed! and after 17 years of "peace and solitude" and pleasing myself I can truly reccomend it,
after all of the "trials and tribulations" of being in relationships,I consider myself "truly blessed" and to be the "phoenix from the ashes of a life gone by!"
Good luck, Be strong, Be alone,....😊👌

I reckon social media is an illusion, and leaving the phone alone in a drawer is the solution to many many problems.
Agreed. Thanks for watching:)
@@FriendofDorothy haha don't worry I make sure we're safe when we go. One guy had a phone although we didn't have reception most of the time. We also carried a PLB so plenty of countermeasures haha. Another mate brought a satphone and we all had UHF handheld radios if someone separated.

I am so used to being alone and living alone for many years, I started to lack social skills, but never been more grateful for all the peace and freedom. They are running through my veins like a drug. Once you get addicted, it's hard to go back.
🙏
I hear you on that one, I was widowed young 3 and a half years ago and by default started to isolate myself to cope with the grief, now I cherish being alone and don't want to go out because it's addictive being on my own ( I do miss her though) . Like you I think I've lost social skills and struggle to remember how to have a conversation but consider it a small price to pay for the peace and solitude and calming of the mind.
@@silverdale3207 I am very sorry for your loss. Grief is one of the reasons people decide to set off on the road of solitude and it's a process. I pray for you, dear. God is taking care of everything, trust Him. 🙏🏽
I changed city and moved away from everbody i know and my family. Do not use any social media or anything like that. Moved to a small city.
Its been 6 month and never felt better and im in peace that i have never experienced before and never taught it even existed this kind of peace.
All of sudden i do not feel to drink alcohol or anything.
As 34 year old to do a drastic change like this was one of my best thing i have done to save my very soul.
I throw away everything i own and just moved with one bag of cloth and a laptop i needed a full reset in life and feel great now.
Glad to hear that, must have been difficult at first.
@@stanleybetts123 Yes it was and thanks to it
Peace of mind us what we all need and each of us has our own way to obtain it Peace to all and we all need to find our own path!🤩💖👍🗣👥👥👥👥👥👥👥
Your on social media now 😳 so I think you maybe meant that you don’t spend a lot of time on social media 🤷🏻♀️

No not social media, i use UA-cam as information site and listen to music.
I do not know anyone nor intent to know anyone in UA-cam. Yes i still use internet as you see.
If i example i comment in someone's website or a blog about deep space if that is social media then i guess it's true then almost everything in internet are, even email.
When i say social media i mean those platform i connect with people i know such as Facebook, instagram, snap etc I'm sure you understand.
So true... Nicely done... Freedom and peace is the two most important keys to a good life in my opinion... Im a poet, so it probably helps, I've been on my own for 30 years and would not have it any other way... My home is truly, my home... Important vid!! Well done sir!
Agreed. Thank you. :)
“We are often more frightened than hurt; and we suffer more from imagination than from reality.” - Seneca
Einstein famously said:
"Imagination is more important than knowledge. For knowledge is limited to all we know and understand, while imagination embraces the entire world, and all there ever will be to know and understand."
Have you ever been kicked in the groin? Try it...I'll do it for you
Pascal’s focus was to turn us to God, His presence. We were made for God and when we are alone, nothing stands in the way of that ultimate peace, once we have repented.
What price for peace? I am alone but, never lonely. I can occupy myself in healthy past times. Cooking, gardening and painting. Oh the joy of being Solo!
🙏
people don’t innerstand the power of being alone, able to adore the silence. but you aren’t alone in your loneliness. you who you truly are when you are alone.
I'm a loner from 10 years old.People get on my nerves .I could only stand being around most for awhile. Then it's time to go.
Yes 🙏
🎯 agree!
Being alone isn’t the same as lonely. If ur introverted that’s fine but it’s important to connect with friends and family.
I've felt the need to be alone for many years now and it's bought me unbelievable transformation. There were so many great points raised here. I'm constantly trying to find that perfect balance between 'being' and 'doing'. Thanks for making this 🙏🙏
I’m happy to hear that. :)
@@stanleybetts123 ... hear
Thanks for correction. :)
What do you mean by absorbing energy?
@@stanleybetts123 we are Absorving the people aura energies when we are closer to the people, we can even feel the people energy from long distances too
Im a female from México in her 30's I was living with a partner for a little while, but it didnt work for me. I've spent most of my life alone which has developed many good things on me, especially being serene, I enjoy socializing but not for a long time, it drains my energy. Im taking the path of an ascetic life , I live in a small hill, life is so good here. 😊
I've always enjoyed being a lonely introvert. My one beef with life though is that the world rewards the extroverted and social game players
You mean narcissists and psychopaths?
@@therealwewin in many cases, yeah
My loyalty to me is it's own reward.
Being a lonely introvert sounds sad.
I always feel unpleasant if I think too much. We need silence and stillness in our lives.
I honestly love "just Existing", I feel happy observing the nature and things around me without any objective in my mind.
🙏
Really like this perspective
Adam must have had a lot of these experiences before he fell out with God. Spending time in nature's so refreshing and beautiful.
Namaste.
I agree completely. :)
… only life isn’t for handing, it’s for living (the clue is in the name) and it’s for living in perfect joy and harmony so either your gurus are feeding you bs or you’re misunderstanding them or maybe you’re just listening to them and not 11:39 doing that actual work but either way handling life sounds like hell and you’ll never succeed because life doesn’t need handling, it’s perfect just the way it is ❤️
I'm an INFJ Woman and i value being alone i need it to recharge bieng around people who are always talking and needing assistance constantly drains me to a point where i feel so tired and i need my me Time. Thank you Millie👍✌👊❤🦋

Being alone... Not lonely, because contemplation and reflections are possible only when alone...
Being alone is NEVER lovely. Being on his own, however, IS.
As I watched this video, I found myself paying attention to my breathing. I felt an inner smile...like I just discovered the young me again. 🥰
Thank you so much for this video. My day was very hectic but my silent night will rock my to sleep.
Enjoyed listening and watching the video. Enjoyed the comments. Love being alone. Then when my adult daughter, brings her relatives or some friends, I don't even feel like having them around.its uncomfortable for me. When I'm alone I listen to piano music or whatever type not rap.lol
I believe in a balance between solitude and social interaction. I live alone and spend a lot of time alone, but I'll tell you what it can play tricks with your brain.
I believe in the same thing.
Agreed
That’s the beauty of living alone, you get to get control over your mind instead of it controlling you as it does to the majority of people in the world and the thing is, it’s not even their mind, it’s the collective consciousness that we claim as ours and being alone helps you to realise the truth of this
alone ...with the CREATOR of the universe... Best feeling's
و حدي مع خالق الكون احلى شعور..
For me its the ability to detach from the world and say I make me happy... I alone bring me peace.
That's an amazing ability.
You can only be truly happy when you stop pursuing happiness.
This is why I love being alone. It gives me more time to concentrate on GOD. Instead of listening to other peoples problems and drama.
The real art is being with people and enjoying your own peace and aloneness within and seeing them as that love too
Alone : Peace of Mind . Peace with oneself . Some people are afraid of there own shadow .
Love it. But Im never really alone. God is with me always. He is ALL I need. Done with relationships. Select friendships are great, but I will never give up my peace.
Wow. The Power of Now is my favorite book. I read it a few years ago. But I got caught up in all of the junk my mind was doing to me again. I happened upon your video today by chance, but it is so good. Thank you so much. You really helped me. I'm actually crying right now out of relief. Thank you.
I’m living alone, I have fur babies that love and care for me. I miss my family… I know there’s no peace with them so all I can do is pray for them and be grateful that it’s best to live and let live. I have busy days all by myself. I’ve gotten to know myself better than I ever have. It’s a miracle in itself to live all these years and figure things I’ve never been taught about myself. Having the internet helps me do deep dives and answer my unknowns and unaddressed needs. I’m not great with a bunch of problems and drama and find it deeply disturbing. As an Empath it drains and depletes my soul like a dead battery.
Interesting how many ppl came to this video by typing this in the search box.
Like is it normal for me to be non bothered?
Hmm… let me go to UA-cam to make sure I’m not missing more fun while being alone.
I’m not fully alone because God is here and that helps 100%

Peace, tranquility, aloneness are tuned with perfect harmony. There's nothing wrong with being alone, though the world thinks and acts differently. I'm more alone in a room full of people .The Belfast poet Andrew Beattie.
You are right, there is nothing wrong with being alone.
This insightful video reminds us of Pascal's wisdom: 'All of humanity's problems stem from man's inability to sit quietly in a room alone.' It's a powerful message, beautifully conveyed. Kudos to the creator!
I’m a 70 year old introvert who has been alone over 40 years and loves it! I also have Asperger’s Syndrome.
I think this is a beautiful and necessary message that we must all take on board and live better for it.
Thank you Stanley, for taking the time to do this. The videos, clips and photos you've chosen to put these points across are perfect and only add in a positive way to the overall message. Saying that I could close my eyes and just listen to your voice, a meditation in its self, so calming and wise.
Brilliant stuff. Greatful for it ❤
Thanks a lot! :)
Spot on!!
The ultimate goal is to be happy’
who says?
Just be human! Accept all its foibles.
Happy’ is Sunday colour supplement nonsense.
Most of the world is hungry and poor.
Where’s happy in that?
